Tnoldons Indoor Lemon Skunk Grow (Poor Man's Grow)

You should see a really good spurt in growth now. You could possibly mix in some nutes at about an 1/8 what the bottle says. If everything goes well for a week, you could start upping it to 1/4 strength.

Yeah I was thinking that, but the reason it was so messed up to begin with is because I added nutes, and I added less then a teaspoon and it caused so much damage, is it even safe to add nutes again so soon she is very young still

You know what, thinking about it you're probably right. Leave her for another week to stabilize and then you should be OK. I'm just worried that she's gona want to take off for you, but being that there are no nutrients in your bucket, she may not be able to. You have the roots, and they look healthy. Let her do her thing for the next week. If she starts wilting at all before then, you will know it's time to throw some nutes in there. Just be careful with your measurements so you don't go burning her.

Ok well I guess its time to add nutes then...I really hope nothing bad happens this time. I will try and be more precise with my measurements and maybe that will help this time :)

At 1/8 strength, I don't see any harm being caused. It will give the roots a nice easy transition to feeding. After a week, bump it to 1/4 strength. You should be rewarded with a jump in luscious green growth!

I'm gonna try, but I've never been good with fractions lol. Yeah I was soooo happy when I saw those roots I couldn't believe it! I'll feed her tonight, my question is how long do those nutes last for until I have to feed her again?

Some bad news :( my older lemon skunk is looking sick all of the sudden. she is droopy which is normaly from over watering but thats not the case. Also her bottom leaves are turning yellow. Could it be because I haven't added any nutes to her diet? I'll post some pics later so you can see what I'm talking about

Ok quick question. I am using the FoxFarm Big Grow nutes for the hydro grow it says to use for full strength 2 teaspoons a gallon I have 4 gallons of water in the bucket so since I am doing 1/8 strength and embarrassing enough can't do fractions at all. How much should I be putting into the bucket? any help would be awesome lol

Alright 2 teaspoons a gallon, for 4 gallons would be 8 tsp for full strength. An eighth strength of that would be 1 tsp.

Do it up. Bump it to 2 tsp. when you change the rez in a week.

Thanks Smokey! I'm adding nutes right now :thankyou:

Here are the pictures of the older lemon skunk. As you can see her bottom leaves are starting to yellow. I am not sure why this is and it's been a while since I dealt with this. Last time it was nute burn this time maybe not enough nutes? I'm not sure and any info would help I don't want to start worrying but I also don't want it to become a problem. The soil is FFOF the water is around 6.5 I have not given her any nutes at all she is now 40 something days old and also I know she needs a transplant could that be it?

Also she has ben slowly drooping over I gave her more water and this seemed to help a bit but not sure if that was the problem.

Here are the pictures:

Ok here is one more problem. The younger lemon skunk has brown spots on her first set of leaves and they are also very brittle and dry to the touch. The lights are about 4 inches above her and I spray her once a day to keep the moisture up, but not sure if this is a problem the other leaves seem to be ok and I just added some nutes to the water.

Probably nute deficiencies on both. Lemon skunk seedling should already be taken care of, as you just added nutes. But big lemon skunk really needs a transplant. If you want the transplant to be more effective, I would try and remove her from that pot. Even though it is supposed to be able to transplant with it, you don't need your roots struggling to find nutrients. So I would say transplant and water. That should clear up those yellow leaves.

i believe the first ones askin for some food! the one in hydro should be fine give it a few days dawg, check new growth for now! youll be good dawg just let it ride out a bit

Thanks for the suggestion Funny. I'm watering her with a small amount of nutes to see how she reacts if she starts looking better awesome, if not I will try a little more nutes and see what happens.

Thanks Smokey :) I will be transplanting for sure tomorrow and I was also thinking of trying to take her out of the pot it seems to thick for her roots to get through, hopefully they will both recover they aren't to bad just yet so lets hope they get better!

Ok so here is another picture update...The two lemon skunks have not recovered yet, but its only been a day since they both recived nutes. The older lemon skunk looks healthy besides the bottom yellow leaves, but I have noticed it has stopped growing...any reason for this? maybe the roots are to constrained or something? either way she is being transplanted tonight I'm taking her out of the pot she is in now before the transplant.

The younger lemon skunk isn't looking great, the bottom leaves are very brown and spotted and I know its a matter of time before they fall off. The new growth on the plant looks to be untouched at the moment and I'm hoping it doesn't get affected by the nut deficiency.

As for the RockLock...She I can say is going strong and getting bigger everyday...no complaints about her...yet lol :)
