Thirvnrob's Power Plant - TLO Soil In SIP Containers

I suppose sometimes a hybrid that’s supposed to be 60/40 Sativa dominant will express it’s Indica genetics more dominantly & that’s that. Unless the seed bin is compromised. The skinny one popped a day (or maybe 2) ahead of Ms. Bushy Bitch & is more along the lines of what I expected. I haven’t tied Her Bushiness down - just guiding her branches where I want them to go & she’s been very cooperative. I’ve super cropped both of them, the skinny one twice. Did a light defoliation on the bushy one…

I find that it's much easier to burp in turkey bags, since they hold 3 jars worth (or more depending on the bag). The RH in my bedroom was low this morning so I just opened the bag, bounced the buds, waved my hand over it, and sealed it up again. With a jar the fresh air probably wouldn't immediately get all the way down the lower buds, but with them spread out in a bag there's lots of surface available.

The exchange of air is really all you need, especially if you're close to the risk of overdrying.
Like brown-n- bags? I’m guilty of over drying & under curing. I feel like I’m close to the mark right now though…

The second pic is is after I defoliated Ms. Bushy Britches...

Sorry for the silence. The missus & I have both had some heart issues. Mine were easily resolved with a few tweaks to my meds. My SO on the other hand, will require surgery to either repair or replace her mitral valve. I'm fine & she will be too. She has a 3 month time frame to get everything arranged, so no emergency. Travel (to address both of our issues) is the problem - we live in podunk so we have to crawl out of the woods & drive a couple hours to see same cardiologist, but since we have different heart issues, we have to go on different days. Honestly, none of this is a big deal (unless she has to have open heart, but that's not likely) I just wanted to explain my absence. I have a few pics I'll post in a bit - or maybe tomorrow...

I'm sorry to hear of the heart troubles rob. I hope your missus comes through with flying colors!

And drive safely. :)
Thanks Shed, I'm confident she will!

Life continues to throw curve balls, but things have slowed down some so I’m gonna try & catch up. A lot has gone on with the girls since my last post (about them). I had just put them in their SIPs & decided to scrog the bigger one when we started our whirlwind tour of Cardiologists of various specialties. I hardly got to look at them for three days & the main stalk on that one split & it was too late to do anything about it. I thought she was surely doomed, but as you’ll see in a moment, she wasn’t bothered by it. The other one is short & bushy, but I got her under control. I flipped the lights April 14 - they took 11 days to transition & are now on day 10 of flower. I think these pics are in chronological order. I’ve top dressed them once & expect to do so again in another week or so. If you blow up the pic of the scrog you’ll see the split stalk. I don’t know why she has such a weird shape…

I added them in chronological order, but they didn’t upload that way (not that it was necessary to point that out). The lanky one added 13” in height in 13 days during stretch (which I pray is over) & the first week of flower. Her sister didn’t stretch much at all…

Three weeks ago my wife had a mitral valve repair. For six weeks prior to that we were on what we dubbed The Medical Mystery Tour (who gets it?) because she was presenting with anomalous symptoms. To make a very long story short, everyone finally agreed on a course of treatment for her - she finally had the surgery & is recovering as expected. We live a couple hours away from the nearest “big city”, so much travel was required, as was a week long stay in said city. I put the journal & the grow on the back burner as I would expect any of you would do.
Life is slowly but surely returning to normal so I’m back at it, but this post is just for Tammy…

I have a long way to go to get caught up on this journal, but I have to fast forward to today - harvest day. I’ve grown the frostiest & densest buds I’ve ever seen, much less grown, but I fear bud rot has occurred. Here’s a few photos…
