Thirvnrob's Power Plant - TLO Soil In SIP Containers

One of the girls is beginning to show some yellowing of the leaves & the tips & edges are turning brown - it seems to be random. Ca?

Calmag works well
Sorry Em, one more question. Should I top water or pour it into the res? I assume it would be prudent to add to all three…

I've added cal/mag to my SIP rez 4 or 5 times with good results.
Do you do that as a proactive measure or when symptoms of deficiencies appear? My point being only one of the sisters has this problem. The other two appear to be perfectly healthy & happy so I'm leaving them alone for now. No need to fix what isn't broken...

Well. Leave it to me to raise rebellious girls. I'm convinced they're going to finish at different times. One has had the appearance of ripening for several days now which prompted me to take a peek with the loupe & most trichs are milky & about 5-10% of those have amber heads. She looks like she's a week - 10 days out. We'll say 10 days to make the arithmetic easy. She's 47 days post flip & I'm predicting 10 more days, so 57 days from flip but only 44 days from from the first show of pistils. The breeder claims eight weeks to flower, so 56 days. But wait, there's more...

The middle sized sister's pistils are just beginning to turn, but not enough to warrant an inspection with the loupe. The aforementioned little brat changed dramatically over the last 7 days. If this one does the same thing, she'll hit the finish line 7-10 days behind little sister. Let's keep that arithmetic simple & say 10 days again. That'll put her at 67 days from flip & 54 days from her first day of showing pistils.

The biggest of the three started out as the runt of the litter (of course), has the best colas & is still churning out white pistils, packing on weight & density & showing no signs of ripening, so I have no prediction of when she might finish.

Foregone conclusion: One of them is inside the window (counting from first day of pistils), one is short of the window & one will go beyond the window.

Several minutes have passed since I wrote the last sentence. My attempt to upload pictures was a failure. The good news is: My head hasn't exploded! Perhaps Purple Kush can take the blame for me not being able to upload pics but also take credit for me not over reacting. I'll try again tomorrow...

Sometimes it's nice to take one down per weekend! No sore hands or neck from trimming. :)

Sounds like the perfect combination.
I totally agree but I’d hoped to prove something. Looks like I’ve proved that the breeders predicted flowering time is a guideline…

Interestingly enough, I had expected to have a staggered harvest to try fattening up the thinner buds. Have you ever done a staggered harvest?

I have. Took the top half of the plants and left the lowers for a couple extra weeks, works pretty good.

Cute pup, reminds me of my Layla.💖 CL🍀
Thanks! She helps me grow weed. She’s a daddy’s girl. Rescue pup- 6.8 lbs when she picked me last August- a little under 45lbs now. She’s gonna be a grunt…
