Thirvnrob's Multi Strain Seed Drawer Clean Out

I grew a Power Plant from Weed Seeds Express in 2020 and it turned out rather nicely. :goodluck: with your new baby!
I believe I got this seed from WSE. I’ve grown it once before & I was pretty gosh darned impressed!

I really like the title of your post, all the best to you in the endeavor. Thank you for sharing, hope that you have help to trim :yummy: I know that not everyone does. I am excited to see whether you're going for SCROG or are you going to have them all big
Thanks! I probably won’t fool with a net since I’ll be moving plants in & out. I’ll use bamboo stakes where necessary to support the buds as they fatten up. And I don’t usually have any help with trimming, just with smoking…:passitleft:

Something is wrong with my phone. I’ll leave it at that, but if you see random stuff in this journal that doesn’t make sense, that’s my story & I’m sticking to it.

Here’s the clone & her mother on mom’s big day. I wonder if they know?

I put the clone back in the tent so I can dry mom right where she sat. Her color is better today, Stone. I’ll be top dressing her every two weeks now.

I completely understand this, I get reminded that thos hobby of mine which I find fascinating is not something that everyone can appreciate, I wish that I did have someone to share the excitement with who didn't just be all blahzey 😂 I would help you out for sure friend 😂 with the smoking I mean 😆 jkjk Im the type who would trim with you until we finished.
Someday I hope to have a lot of friends to help with these things. I imagine it being a really nice time just a few people who you really enjoy spending time with, everyone trimming for four hours and bang it out, then go to the next person's house and do the same thing when the time comes. Well anyways your show is looking amazing, thanks for letting us come in and see it. My favorite part of trimming is charas, lots of people do not keep these but that's my caviar, tastes soo good

Here’s Pure Kush at 32 days above the soil. I topped her Saturday. She’ll be up potted this week & then I’ll take the first two nodes & commence “LST” or “ low stress training, a technique employed by crafty growers to increase yields.

And here’s little sister at day seventeen above ground, Power Plant. I’ll apply the aforementioned yield increasing measures with her as well. Love the veriegated leaf…

Looking good in there, but I don't believe that doing LST on the two lowest nodes will increase your yields.

LST on an uptopped plant involves slowly bending it over so the top is lower than the rest of the nodes, causing the plant to put growth hormones into the lower nodes to get a new apical branch. On a topped plant it would involve keeping the top nodes flat (again tricking the plant into moving the auxins to lower branches) while the lower nodes catch up.

I did a write-up on it here on the type without topping if you wanted to take a look:

[whoa, they totally changed the look of onsite links!]

The topping and training method is the type I use on all of my photoperiod plants now.

Perhaps my attempt at humor was ill advised…
I topped her Saturday & plan to take the first two nodes after I up pot. Then I’ll start tying things down.
I’m about to read your tutorial. I’ve done LST exclusively with a couple autos, but other than that I’ve used the above method.
Thanks for stopping by!

I think I might be slipping. I thought I had topped her between 4&5 - 1&2 are already gone. This is already gonna be a bushy plant, but I’m up for the challenge! She has a baby sister that arrived today also, so we have data on how they grow…

Got all caught up on your journal and man there are some nice buds in that harvest. Also that pure kush is looking nice! Can't wait to see her trained out.
Thanks! I wish I had journaled that grow & I’d love to have it to do again. My phone is quirky & the photone app was out of whack & they got too much light. I still got a little over 500 grams though…

The worm castings should work great but take some time to kick in. You could speed that up a bit by letting castings sit in a bucket of declorinated water overnight or two which will help liquify the goodies and make it a little quicker on the uptake.
Do you think bubbling would help? Dolomite lime? The color has faded from her leaves pretty quickly & she’s 4 weeks into flower now…
