That looks convenient, but I was always wondering - marijuana does not really like a lot of moisture, the greenhouse effect is great but it also increases the moisture. Do you vent it?

Seedlings enjoy the higher humidity for the first week or so. Some people leave them under the dome for a couple weeks. This is only my 2nd time using the humidity dome, so I’m still figuring it out, but the dome has vents built in . Once the humidity reaches 90% I’ll open them about 1/4 turn. Right now it’s at 82%.

Today she gets her only veg tea. I top water my SIPs if I need to add anything and I will provide photographic evidence of that assertion. I’m going to let her gain steam for a couple more weeks & then the fun begins.

She loved her tea! I’m not sure how I’ll ever achieve a flat canopy with her, but I’ll document the attempt & we’ll all see the result together! I’m wide open for suggestions here. I might attempt a “sombrero” look ala @Jon

If you actually do decide on a flat canopy it's a simple as tying the top nodes flat as the lowers grow up to meet them. It's how I train all of my plants.

That's what I usually do & what I will attempt here. I'm just more accustomed to topping them much earlier, & I've never trained a clone before. Anyway, I just tied the two top apexes down & will keep doing that till the lower ones are nice & even. She should grow quite a bit in the next couple weeks. Hopefully Tuesday's tea puts some color back in those leaves!

Those yellow veins might be genetic or it's looking like a bit of a Mg deficiency.

The tea should help then. She’ll also get calmag via weekly top watering. We’ll see how she looks in a couple days.

Bubble Gum. Purple Kush is 100% Indica, Girl Scout Cookies is an 80/20 Indica dominant hybrid & Bubble Gum is 50/50. Gonna soak the seeds this time…
 
Getting a flat canopy has been pretty easy after all. I had been planning on putting her under the scrog net in the flower room, but I think I’m gonna flower her where she is. I want to let everything in there finish up so I can get it wiped down again. I’m going to assume I didn’t clean as thoroughly as I should have & some pollen was left behind. In the meantime, she has her own digs…

Sorry guys, I was sick for a few days - I’ll spare y’all the details.
I guess I fumbled the ball with this Sour D clone. She’s been in veg longer than I intended & is showing some deficiencies. I top dressed her today with EWC - not sure if she needs something in addition to that but I went ahead & started brewing a flowering tea since I’m planning on flipping her next week unless someone talks me out of it. She’s inFFOF, so I’ll have to top dress a few times starting next week. Hopefully the EWC will put some wind in her sails . I’m all ears

In other news, I finally got a seed to pop. I’ve started all of my seeds in soil for the last couple years including my current flowering garden with only 2 failures, both of them the same strain at the same time. I seem to have lost my touch, as I’ve sown nine seeds over the last 5 or 6 weeks with only one success. I can’t think of anything I’ve done differently, so who knows? Anyway, I think I’ll go back to the paper towel method & get something growing! I did have one seed pop Thursday. This is Pure Kush from

The worm castings should work great but take some time to kick in. You could speed that up a bit by letting castings sit in a bucket of declorinated water overnight or two which will help liquify the goodies and make it a little quicker on the uptake.

Purple? I want some of what you’re smoking! Seriously, she sees low to mid 80°s during lights on & low 70s at night. I’m going to post more pics shortly.
 
There hasn’t been much to talk about, but I have a few updates.
Here’s the Pure Kush at 15 days. She’s coming along nicely! Apparently I have fungus gnats in my recycled soil - I’m using mosquito bits on top & watering it in. Works like a charm.
