TheBlaze's Multi-Strain Grow In Coco & 600W HPS

I love that plant on front left, huge leaves. Great color, I have nothing helpful to say. Great job.

Cheers

Thanks Miller. That would be the topped white rhino. They are great plants with solid genetics. Almost no variation between the 2 in my tent. Easy to grow, and looks like it will yield well. Recommended.

Your killing me, I have a super cheese and 3 Narco purple needing a flower tent and an Auto AK overcrowding my flower tent. I'm now looking at planing my next veg round. But WR had caught my attention on other journals, but not as big as your leaves.

Cheers

DO IT!! LOL!

Just make sure to get Nirvana's version and not GHS.

Drag on the burn there Blaze. But your name IS Blaze after all. Maybe she was just trying to please you!

Truly they all look dipped in wax. Perfect girls there my friend.
Bob ;)

I'm not sure about perfect, but thanks for the kind words bud!

Great Looking harem Blaze! :goodjob:

Thank you

No update today, as I am not happy with how this grow is progressing. The buds have barely swelled in the last week. Something is definitely up. At first I thought I was just being overly critical, but now I know that something needs to be done.

What makes this difficult to figure out, is that the plants look healthy and happy. They just aren't really doing much. They are also barely drinking. I gave them each 1.5L last night, and most of that just went straight through and ended up on the floor. That is not a good sign. With my last grow, the plants were drinking 2L a day with only a little runoff.

Without any visible signs of deficiency, it makes it a little tricky to diagnose.

Here is a list of issues I think might be contributing to this stale mate:

- Crazy weather. Lots of rain, which has pushed humidity levels sky high.
- My fan packed up just over a week ago, and I have not replaced it due to lack of funds. This pushes humidity in the tent even higher.
- Fungus gnats. I don't think I have been aggressive enough in tackling this problem. Spotted one last night again. Struggling to find products to combat this properly. Will have to pull finger, and give it the attention it deserves.
- Overwatering. I know this is not supposed to be possible in coco grows, but it sure seems like it could be contributing factor. I've noticed when the plants have a 36 hour dry spell, they respond really well. This weekend I will give them 48 hours dry.

Did you say this grow had different light set up then last grow? It sounds like old bulbs or dirty cooltubes. Try home depot HPS cheap and if that's it cool. Healthy small plants are low PAR plants.

Cheers

Same light as previous grow. Only my second grow with this light. So there shouldn't be much light degradation. I also added the 90w UFO LED light. It's small I know, but it is something a little extra to try cover the area of the tent that doesn't get as much light from the HPS.

You do make a good point though. I am comparing this grow to the last, but the 3 plants from my previous grow got more of the HPS light. These plants have to fight for a spot at the table. Still, the buds should have grown more than this I think.

Man what did we catch? Your non update was all most an exact replica of mine from last night.....

My growers only use light for one cycle. Amazon had eye HPS for $54 1k, used once. Plus cooltube blocks light. Get a cheap HDepot HPS clean glass, filter intake. Back in game.

Cheers

Oh, I won't buy cheap eye bulb, but if you look there and eBay there are 1000's for half price.

Fuck knows bud. It's a little disappointing, especially because the plants started off with such a bang and now seem to have fizzled out.

Will have to check out your non-update quick. I don't think I'm fully up to date on your journal.

If you figure this shit out, let me know. LOL!

Both have humidity troubles... A lot of mine is my own doing, stupid friggan experiments, lack of light. But something else ain't right.. I dropped rhizo, but that shouldn't have such an effect.. Hoping they bounce back for you man.

In organics the only time I have seen plants do what you describe is when I have over watered. Not to the point where they get droopy leaves but just enough to inhibit root growth , it's always good to remember cannabis is xeric plant so less water is better. That's is a complete guess on my part from an organics background.
