TheBlaze: Genesis, Chapter 1, Verse 1

Hi BT. You use 1g/L.

Yeah, coco is a bit suspect. So definitely something to consider. They were out of the usual stuff I buy. They have it back in stock now, so bought 2 large bricks. Will start mixing up tomorrow, and yes, peroxide from now on. Always!

Fucking medium. Something didn't add up. Good to hear you got if figured out and have a plan going forward. Nothing like wondering if you are just freaking cursed.

An IPM is a necessity anytime you have capital on the line imo, so you don't bork the bank. Advisable still otherwise. Biological insecticide is the tits. Similar to Spino in some sense, but this one makes them explode with fungus.

You could even alternate one of each, as they have different kill methodology, and should have no significant impact on health.

Fully agreed CS. A regular rotation of neem, spinosad and BB should be a decent 3 punch combo. "Finish him...fatality" :cheesygrinsmiley:

Yeah, its pretty cool stuff. Completely inert in a few hours I think. Just long enough to kill anything it comes in contact with.

Good news and bad news. Looks like only the big Exodus Kush is going to make it. There is a lemon skunk that might pull through as well, but the others are pretty much toast. They are just too far gone.

Gave them all a drench of the beauveria bassiana fungus. Let's see what happens.

The big girl just seems to power through everything. You can see she has been hit with the same issues, but somehow she manages to fight back where the others are unable to. How does one plant seem to shrug off everything? I know this pheno as well. It isn't fire... it is straight skunky napalm. If I had to choose to save just one, it would be this one.

She is big as well. She grew 3 inches overnight, and about 7 inches wider. Stretch has only just started, and she is already about 3.5 ft wide, and 2.5 ft in height. If I can help her along some more, then she will be monstrous. I'm still considering repotting her and the lemon skunk. Do you think I should repot her from a 7 gal into a 10 gal, or just stick with 7 gal??

My prizes are trickling in. Picked up the scrogger system today. I've never scrogged. Should I use it on the big girl??

If the coco was suspect, I'd definitely repot into larger containers, so they can push into it when you flip them. To maintain height, instead of topping, use the P-scrog to pull the dominate branches outward to open the interior up to fill out the center. You could maybe get a 3/4 to a pound off that plant in coco with a 10g right? She'd be a huge bitch. :) :thumb:

Ok cool thanks

The plant in question was flipped 8 days ago bud. That is why she is beginning to stretch now. She was definitely slow to transition though. As it stands now, I think she will be good for 200g. With the P-scrog, and all the light to herself, maybe I could stretch that to 250g.

I still don't understand how she has managed to stay relatively healthy compared to the others. Genetics?

I'd guess it'd have to be, if all other variables were the same across plants. Even if flipped, and slow, you could probably put her in a bigger pot. The new rootspace won't have the same problem as the old rootspace (bad coco). :thumb:

Does anyone have a decent chart to help identify pests? Spotted something with the scope, crawling on one of the leaves. With the naked eye it literally looks like a moving dust particle.

Hope this helps ☮️

Thanks brother! I've accepted that this round is basically a bust. I will take what I have learned about pest management and apply it to the new round of seedlings.

I'm sure most of you can tell I've lost interest in this journal. Sorry. Hard to stay motivated under the current circumstances.

I've decided to buy a bigger tent, and run 9 fems at home, and 2 at the new site. Let's see what happens. I'm pretty sure the ones at home will do very well.

I want to fumigate the new place as well. Also needs to be properly waterproofed. Whenever it rains, which is often, the whole fucken place leaks. It is such a shitbox.

Here is what the lone survivor looks like.

She is at 16 days of 12/12. She is not budding up like she is supposed to, and she didn't stretch much either. Obviously she is not firing on all cylinders. Looks like she is expending most of her energy trying to survive.

What do you guys think? Keep her or ditch her?

Depending on strains and phenos at 16 days they may not even be showing pistils yet, stretch on most of my girls finishes up around the 3 week mark after flip so theres probably still a lot more left in her, probably still trying to get over the other issues with the coco though which could have also stalled her. Hate to say it but you might be better cutting your losses and get the stuff done to your room while you have the chance, get your girls going at home and you can always take clones ready to move over once all the issues are buttoned up :thumb:

Yeah, I'm familiar with this pheno. She was mature when I flipped her, so she should have transitioned much faster than this. Also, this strain (all phenos I have encountered) has a massive stretch. I'm talking 3 x stretch. She is definitely struggling.

I will let her run a bit longer. She doesnt take up much of my time. doubt she will give me much though.

Round 2

Back to tents for now. Familiar territory. Although this tent is bigger.
