TheBlaze: Genesis, Chapter 1, Verse 1

That last point of yours... that's exactly how I feel now. I will still fly under the radar, but it's good to have that weight off your shoulders man.

Who knows... maybe Aus is looking at SA right now.

Feels like it has been dragging on forever here, probably waiting to see what the UK does and follow suit, I don't mind, never stopped me  would be nice to do it during the day though and treat it as a real job ;)

The U.K. are so anti Cannabis I doubt they will ever legalize. Got their heads too far up their naught.
I'm surprised SA has legalized and it was unanimous in court amongst the judges. Surreal almost.

LOL! Have slight hangover now.

Half the plants seem to have turned the corner, while the other half are still struggling. I cut back one lemon skunk to basically a stump just above the ground. It was too far gone. Let's see what happens now. I don't losing that one, or leaving it in the veg area for however long it takes to come right.

I have one exodus kush in flower. I will take a pic of her for you today. She is a beauty, and has recovered well. I will defoliate her in about 3 weeks and then you won't even be able to tell there was ever an issue with her. I'm going to call it and say she will get to about 1.5m in size. A big girl.

I did give them all a mini flush a few days ago, and I'm going to do another one today. The dry spell after really helped most of them.

I have been checking the plants with one of those scopes. I haven't found anything, but yesterday I did spot a small oval whitish translucent thing on one leaf. It didn't move though. If I rub the leaf it doesn't come off. What do you guys think it is?

Looking at some photos I suspect broad mites. The symptoms of the plants are fairly close to the symptoms listed for broad mites. Sigh...

It actually looks just like an adult broad mite. Right down to the milky white see through body. They are very small, and even hard to spot with a scope.

Apparently the worst pest you can get. Very hard to kill and organics won't cut it. Has to be proper miticide. I've seen some sickly looking plants in the garden where the new room is built.

Fuck man... this is not good. Most guys say to cull and start over.

I can't bud. I need the money. I have to try and save some of them. There are 5 that actually seem to be recovering (slowly) on their own. I will try and save these and will cull the other 7 plants.

I'm off to the garden shop now to get some milbeknock. Very toxic stuff but I've been told it works really well to kill any mites, and then breaks down on it's own. Takes 2 weeks to break down though. So you can't use it towards the end of flower. Luckily, none of the plants are flowering just yet.

I wouldn't start cutting unless you know for sure, wouldn't hurt to treat, if they get worse then you were going to cut them out anyways, would be a shame to lose them ;) could be a completely different pest, there are a lot of small transparent bugs that can attack our plants, I just took out a bunch of thrips in mine which were also translucent at the early stage they were at, a mere spec to the normal eye :thumb:

Thanks Feral. I was chatting to my hydro guy... first thing he said was broad mites. I searched but found nothing, until yesterday. Reading about the symptoms makes the diagnosis pretty hard to ignore.

Apparently they can be eradicated. It is just hard to do. Will have to spray the plants in the larger garden as well. Apparently they hitch a ride in on whiteflies. I've actually seen a few whiteflies in the veg room.

I had a feeling it might be pest related. Just didn't think it would be the worst of the lot.

Killing of the weaker plants will help in the fight to save the stronger plants. So... they have to go. They are pretty far gone anyway.

Busy reading up on thrips now Feral. I hope you're on to something here.
