These ladies are drinking more each day. They've gone through 50% of the res (22+ gallons added) so they're due for a change. They still look super healthy so I'm keeping them on the same nutes, MC @ 5g/G with Hydroguard and z7. I have some magnesium nitrate if I need more N and plenty of bloom boosters if needed.

I've been trying to keep up with these ladies over the past week. As they grow larger with more branches it takes longer and longer to maintain them daily. I've started doing half of the tent one day and the other half the next. That way they get a day of rest between LST.

For the LST, I'm still attaching branches to the net and moving the attachments further out. I'm moving as much as possible into the empty spaces and away from the walls and each other. I'm glad I bought more tie wire right before this grow because I've gone through quite a bit, mostly in little 2-3" segments.

As I LST I also clean the plants up. Any suckers, or growth growing down, get pinched off. I also remove a few large fans every time, especially those growing toward the middle of the plant. The leaves grow back and get bushy so quickly, I don't want them getting too bad before the stretch. And I've learned I can't wait until after the stretch or it's too much. Most of all, thoug, I need to remove some of the leaves just so I can see the branches and what's going on. Here's a before and after on the last update I did on Camila (back-left).

She's the hardest one, mostly due to the last of space on that side of the tent. I have to put one leg inside the tent to work.

They're all still in veg for now. I'm seeing a lot of stigma, though, and my hands are getting stickier each day after the LST. The bottom net is almost full, so these ladies can start flowering any time.

Sure you could flip any time, but when?
They were flipped 8 (now 9) days ago.
It's gonna be crazy in there once they notice the light's changed!
They better start to flower soon, because I'm running out of room to LST. Especially Camila in the back-left, she's pretty much filled up all of her space.

but you're throwing up a top net too, aren't you?
Hi RD. Yes I'll put a top net in. It's more to guide and space the buds as they grow and support the buds as they put on weight. Once the bottom net is full, though, there is nowhere to go but UP!

I go lights out for 36 hours to get their damned attention, but it could be a coincidence that the genetics I've grown all flip fast compared to yours. I've always had buds really, really fast and less stretch since using carhooks (which I remove at flip) but the final weights have been fine so I haven't been concerned enough to switch up. That's about the most ''on-fleek'' TM @Trala RDWC 4-pot tent I've seen in a bit. Glad I'm wearing my auto-tint glasses; Daaang LK!

You got me thinking about a 36 hour lights-out to force the matter. I'll see where they are today.

You can see where I turned off the house A/C on the 21st and where I turned it back on last night. Without the A/C on in the house the basement is the warmest room in the house. I've never been able to let the basement get as warm as it's been in the last week, up to 80f. This goes back a year (except where I didn't check it for six weeks or so):

Previously I would worry about the RDWC res getting too warm, but with the chiller I don't need to worry about it. The plants seem to love it up to 85f. I am looking into an exhaust fan in the basement, I'd like to be able to ventilate at night to get the lows down a bit.

It's been a busy week at work :( I had some time Wednesday afternoon so I gave these ladies a new res. It was overdue at 35 days and 26 gallons added. I emptied the system and refilled with a fresh nutrient load (MSA+MC). I must have done something right because new new res is almost identical to the old in pH & PPM. Only now, I know what's in there ;)

These ladies are growing well and filling in. Everyone is really healthy. After 10 days of transition I'm calling yesterday day# 1 of flower.

So now I'm ready to let them start growing up. However, I have limited space for stretch and they were already several inches above the first net. So, one last time I went through and pinned everything down. If I couldn't attach it to the net I supercropped it. As much as possible I put everything at net height. I also removed a bunch of fans and suckers.

Today, these ladies are ready to go! I can see a branch or two that I missed, but almost everything is at the same level. Time to see what they're going to do in stretch :)

Those look amazing, and what a great job of filling the net!
Thanks Shed. I'd like to say it was easy, buts it's been a real chore keeping her pinned down this long. I'm looking forward to letting her go.
Funny thing is that when I glanced at the first pic I thought it was Violet. :)
I wish Violet was this square and even ;) Of course, I'll be OK if each one of these turns out like her!

You really are such a talented grower, Luke! And such a pleasure to watch.
Thanks Trala, I wasn't happy at all with the canopy on my last RDWC grow, so this is the redemption canopy ;) It's funny, it seems like I get better results when I put more time in 🤔
