The VipersNest Continuous

Could try using bungee cord material to retract the flex tubing..

I thought about doing something like that or maybe using a weight with a pulley, but I dont want anything tilting my reflector when its on the rail. But you did give me a great idea, I was thinking of maybe using some type of rail with a ring attached to the tubing which would then suspend the ducting over my colas. I have some time to think about it, whatever I do I'll post pics later.

Happy....you would have to go with 2 smaller lights rather then one big light link them together to cut the travle in half. so you would go 3 feet not 6 then you hose could run both lights.

I thought about going with 2 600's but for an 8x4 area which should have been great, but I got a really good deal on a 1k so I went for it with the plan of putting a 400 in there or getting a light mover. I have heat problems in the summer so if I get that 6 foot mover and I put some ducting on it I think that would be best.

Things are looking good Pit, can't wait to see what the H&G does for you guys. As for the fellas light mover and light ducting question. You can use a dog runner with some extra pulley to hang the duct off of.

Pit

Looking more than good.:goodjob:

Got another question for you over in the hydro section. On meters, natch.

Thanks

Looking great pit! I am in the middle of installing 2-1000watt lights with 8" ducted reflectors on a lightrail w/slave rail. So i will be doing just about the same thing as the guy was talking about earlier, and I to will have left over ductwork on either end when the rail is on eather far side of the grow room. Well see what happens but if I think of something clever to help I will post it here so you all can see. Anyhow PIT, did you see my new LumateK 1000watt dimmables I bought? They have a super lumen switch and all that jazz. Pretty neat looking! having gotten to try them out yet but they look cool! lol. And as always your garden is looking fabulous PIT. Is that 3/4" hose that your using for your reservoir and control bucket pumps? It looks bigger than the 1/2" regular lines.

How's things coming Pit?

About time for a major update ;)

Getting restless - waiting for the show to start ;)

not alot to see yet but Ill post some pics tonite

Hey Pit...Just checkin in...I ordered the 3.5 lite mover from the folks you suggested. I was then able to remove the 600MH from the flower room and just run the 1000HPS. No more rotating 4 foot plants and I'M savin some $$ not runnin the 600MH (elect use), which is always a good thing. The lite mover, IMO is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I sat n watched it for 30 minutes in amazment and I wasnt even medicated! LOL I'll be stayin tuned for more of your "tricks of the trade". Thanks again dude.... :peace: peace n good luck...MF

it makes me feel really great that I can offer recomendations and advice to everyone here, this forum is what got us started with all the great information and advice. when you learn something....give it back and so on.

Hey Pit...great info and grow! I can't wait to start my journal. A question, I have a 6 light flowering room in planning stages with the hopes of getting it going by Nov 1. In a flowering room does it make sense to have a mixture of MH & HPS? Also, with the use of rails, in theory, would four lights be comparable to 6? Thanks again for this great journal. Peace,
