hey PT I Am new to using pirhana and trantula I just added it to the dwc system and an hour later there is some black residue on the roots (guess from the trantula ) is this normal?
kinda freaking out

How do you keep those lights cool?
What kind of C02 gen are you using?

I'm putting the finish on my grow room, but I'm re-thinking a few things after reading your epic saga of glory.

I've a 9x9 room, fully insulated, but I can only vent to the outside on one wall, which I've already punched 3 holes in......

I was hoping I could keep a single 1000watt reflector cool using the AC and not have to run ducting through the reflector.

I also noticed that you have a fan mounted on top of a carbon filter to scrub the air.....or am I looking at a dissembled piece of equipment?

We use a cap co2 gen natural gas, works well. we also have 2 carbon filters with 475cfm vortex fans on them.we only need one at the start of the grow then move to 2 at the end and with 2 you get to place them around.

I'd PM you, but I don't have enough posts yet...
Your lights aren't AC'd, right?
I'm looking at the same C02 gen, but in propane....less heat.

I'd love it if you could do a quick run down of your equipment, temps, humidity, etc.

And, I'm sure I speak for many....THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE HERE. :thanks:
