hey i got a question for ya.. how many plants did you just grow & what was total overall yield after dry & cure?

23 plants. still harvesting the last ones. 46 ozs as of today. should be over 60 when done. fell short of goal but we learned and corrected.

2 gallon start to finish

If my memory serves me, you will go with bigger buckets next time as you were root bound, correct?

we have played around with that idea. I really dont want to re-engineer the system if I can avoid it. we didnt have but a couple that were rootbound so I think we should be ok. weve made some changes that should solve the last issues......which in turn will give larger healthier plants

lol. That is a damn incredible haul but with huge colas like that its right in line with what I expected. Its funny you guys are talking about re-engineering the ebb and gro set. Cause thats EXACTLY what Im doing right now! lol. I will have a TEK of the entire process here in this forum, under my new journal ( #2). I have looked around and havent seen anyone do this so I think I will be one of if not the first to have this TEK, and I have a few tricks up my sleeve for the way Im gonna do things. I wish I could pull yeilds that big but with my favorite strain of choice being Blue cheese and half of every garden growing solely blue cheese its unlikely I will ever get there. If I stuck to just T2 and Nosebleed it would be doable but the cheese just doesnt produce Huge nugs. But the quality is ALL there with Blue Cheese so I just cant let it go, ITS MY FAV! Anyhow Im so very impressed with your grow and journal Viper. Really you are an incredible grower and Im sure you have the Member Of th Month on lockdown, you had like 90% of the votes last I checked! lol. Remind me not to put myself into situations where Im competing with you!:biglaugh::nicethread:

We have pushed the limits of the ebb to its fullest.Moving in the direction of 20 plants more light. The flood times get messed up if there not piped in properly and the water consumtion is out of hand.Realy do beleave that the limits to this system to run weekly water changes will be 20 big plants of 5 foot each.Any bigger then that you run into double water changes in a week its alot of work. You also can get root bound in a 2 gallon pot.We have over 40 pots ,think we will run one in veg and one in bloom but keep them both at 20.We can hit a 30 inch veg plant in 5 weeks np send them to bloom at 3 foot. This number seems to work best for us.We have pushed the limits of 4 sysyems now including the cloner.Been into just about every soiless grow method there is.
Greenisland.....Was wondering why you need to re-engineer your ebb are you root bound?Thats our biggest problem.Or is there some other reason flow issues.

I am reengeneering because its just what I do..lol. Nooooo.. I m just kidding...well,kinda. I do like to experiment and tinker and improve wherever I can but Im doing this more out of necesity than out of curiousity. My plants ended up about 1 to 2 ft taller than yours and where as they wont be this big next time I still want the extra room for the roots. I only run 8 buckets at a time too, so thats a lot less than the 20 your talking about. I find it really hard to beleive that this unit could "easily" expand to 48 buckets like they say unless you add more reservoirs. I already have to check my reservoir every 5 days to a week and top it off, with only 8 buckets going. The main reason Im doing this is exactly what you said...Flow of nutrients. What Ive noticed is that my roots grow into the tubes and clog it horribly leaving all the plants down the line starving for soda and munchies (nutrient solution). This was kept to a minimum last grow but if I can fix it why not? Also the buckets furthest away from the reservoir had nutrient lockout issues, probably because the flow was really slow through to those buckets. And simply put I think I can make a better setup. I guess well find out huh, lol. Im going to run to the store and get what I need here later today or tomarrow. I really hope its as easy as Im expecting it to be, he he he. If I screw it up I will have a whole audience to congratulate me on my failure, lol. So Ive got to be sure that doesnt happen.
