Hey @MrSauga what do you think about drying in a poorly insulated garage this week? Think it would be ok? Our temperature is pretty good during the day but still a little cool at night

Hi Lapid... I do not. Any media that is buffered requires no pH'ing of the nutes. If you run coco, hempy, dwc or any hydro/passive hydro system then you need to pH your nutes. Promix or Fox Farm Ocean Forest are two examples of medias that are buffered.Hi Mr S,
Hope your day is going well,
Can you tell me, do you ph your MC before feeding?
There is typically a rule of thumb to wait for 21 days after the plant has started to flower. During this period the plant is stretching. You don't want to be doing and defol or stressful trainiing during that time. After the 21 day stretch period you can train again and remove any branches that are not going to make it to the canopy.Afternoon MrSauga, what if the Auto's are flowering, do you still train?
The one I am running is from a freebie(thru a promo) from Seedman. It's Sweet Seeds DDA. They have a promo where if you buy 3 seeds you get one free and if you buy 5 you get two free seeds.Sauga, I'm interested in growing a DDA. I take it DDA stands for Dark Devil Auto. I looked into The Vault, and they advertised the DDA but when I went into there store they didn't have it for sale, it wasn't there. Where, did, you buy your DDA? Wishing you a wonderful, peaceful day.
As long as the RH in the garage is not too low. Around 58% would be ideal for a slower dry. I'd be more concerned about the smells in a garage that may get absorbed by the flower when drying. Cool temps are fine. I do a slo 'n dry which means my buds sit in the fridge for about two weeks.Hey @MrSauga what do you think about drying in a poorly insulated garage this week? Hiya Chef! I have not thought about it but I've seen some good grows from @FelipeBlu who to me is a master with the shite. Having said that your DDA is simply stunning. I like soil so most likely will stick with it. I may transition to Promix and maybe try hempy after that. Soil fits my lifestyle right now.Hey Mr S, how’s it hangin’? I know you’re a soil Mc guy, just like I’ve mostly done, but I’ve you ever considered doing your autos in perlite hempy? Check out my DDa, today is day 50 and I am just barely starting to seeing primordia. Her next feed (tomorrow) will be 5.5g/gal. She’s in a 10L bucket.
Stellar looking bud there Scotty. Lots of GooNow to the real question
So when you thinking of popping them goo seeds lol
Shed is running a couple of @Weedseedsexpress sativas, farside is running a couple of their autos, I'll be running two of their indica's. I think Dutchman is going to be running another strain as well and possible Pennywise. So Shed and farside have just both started theirs and if you wanted to see their genetics in action then it's a good time to catch up on those journals too!Thinks I’ll wait a lil and see how yours turn out first before I try a purchase
Scotty...happy Memorial Day....sounds like a nice day out. Ill random check out your journal tonight...you might do the same. Thanks again to all vets and their service for our freedom.Already watching shed and penny,
Curious about that chocollope as well.
Any more journals I fallow,II’d have trouble keeping up lol.
Keeping up with you shed and penny’s is work enough as is With a few randoms I check
Happy Memorial Day.
just went and visited my fathers grave. It was nice out. And it was a nice thing to do. I liked it
If I do a bud wash I have to let them hang dry for two to four hours before putting in the fridge. The tips of the cola need to be dry from water.I have a question Mr. S. Do you put your buds in the fridge right after the chop? And then to the bag or jar?
Im soaking up cure options for bigger harvests. Im still in jar realm. 2nd harvest and trim coming soon, or maybe a few weeks. But not counting my buds. Bags are good wisdom for more ambitious grows like yours. I did decided get two more boxes of wide mouth 1 quart jars for the upcoming toss and cure. The benefit of the turkey bag is for burping. I can put 5 ounces easily in a turkey bag and burp and toss the buds gently. I can't do this in jars without it taking a lot of time and spillage.
Nothing wrong with that. Tried and true. For me it's just the convenience. I have a lot more control over the final dry and cure afterwards. I believe it was derbybud who started using them.Im soaking up cure options for bigger harvests. Im still in jar realm. 2nd harvest and trim coming soon, or maybe a few weeks.
