More frequent watering in flower helps as well with MC. I like to have a good wet/dry cycle in veg but in flower I always like to be a day ahead. If I think the plant is OK today but tomorrow it needs water, then I water today and don't wait for tomorrow. If the leaves are turning yellow then the soil is lack of any stored food and is relying on the time of feeding for it's nutrients. Now that I’m in bloom, I increased the MC over a few waterings, so I am now at 6g/gal.
6g/gal is a good level to be at for flower.
