I have a couple quads going right now, although stuff has happened along the way and I’m down to just one true quad now. Oops!

You can see the stunted arms at 12 & 6. Not sure what happened there, but each new set of leaves that grew out were shriveled and small while the rest of the plant is fine? They’re still on here in this pic, but I clipped off the those tips. Not really sure what it becomes at this point? :laughtwo:

Here's my attempt #quadline.

Does quadlining work well for outdoor photos? I'm in a legal state but still want to be as non conspicuous as possible.

Thanks
You could use this method to keep your plants as low as possible. I quadlined an outdoor girl last year. Had to supercrop her a few times to keep her where I wanted her. Or you could possibly top the 4 mains again to keep her a little more spread out.

A few of my lovelies that were quaded. Up front a White Widow, back left is a CBDREAM, back right a CBDUTCH TREAT. 3 plants= 21.7 zips
Beauty Derby!

I’m loving all the #Quadlines and am super excited so many people are trying it out! I’ll be starting my quads soon as my 3x critical+2.0 clones are close to being ready! Not going to be as symmetrical as a seedling quad but I’ll make it look good haha!

Keep up all the great work everyone!

Awesome thread @Asesino85 and great input by everyone on here. Lots of inspiration to try quad lining.
Thanks Curious! I wanted to make a thread like this a while ago but wanted to make sure it was done right and had the right help. I owe a lot of credit to the Quadsquad OGs. They are people who have helped build quadlining and their results speak for themselves. They also understand the concepts like I do so you will always be getting the correct information across the board. I've been very much enjoying this thread so far and seeing so many new people try it is the best part.

I think that a quad would do really good outside. It would keep it lower and those 4 main branches just leaves an awesome structure to hold big colas.
I agree. Especially if you were trying to keep things low if you didn't want people to see you were doing it. I'd love to try a quadline indoors to start and veg it until it fills up a 4x4' tent and then plant it outside at the beginning of the outdoor season and have it grow into a massive tree split into 1/4ths basically.

A progress report on my little project-another few days and they'll reach "the edge"
plants are 25 days from sprout

Peyote Critical is growing a tad faster than her roommate

So far, they're only about 2.5 inches tall, but I know that's not going to last long....
Did a little defoliating yesterday, tucked a lot of fanleaves "under the grid" today-some of them are going to have to go,but I'll leave them as long as they stay out of the way....

Not much to see from a side view-considering my limited headroom, this is a very good thing,
but I know it won't be this way much longer...

So that's the progress so far-I'm really liking this method-Thanks for the cool thread, and the good instructions @Asesino85 -
I just started this on Wednesday, and the plants are loving it!

Hey squad sorry I been MIA my wife’s car got into the tent and had a party with my sour stomper and ghost toof, the sour is still recoup but the ghost was quaded about a week ago and today I started the lst....not bad for a rookie eh? The holes On the leaf is from we’re the cat had some fun I repoted from solo cup about two days ago and used clonex and she seems to be loving it...

Alright I lied.. I never ended up getting any seeds started this week as I got my outdoor fruits and veggies garden going instead. I'll get those Autos going at some point soon but until then it's been fun seeing everyone else's updates. It's holding me over until I get back up and running again!

A little update on my 2 Quad ladies-they're cooperating pretty well, although the Peyote Critical seems a little better with it than the Northern Lights....they're both doing fine, but the PC acts like she was made for this stuff.
Been doing some defoliating, but rather than cut off the whole leaf,I've been removing the offending "fingers" that are blocking the new shoots-I figure a 3 fingered leaf can still do a little for the plant...I've already cut off quite a few whole leaves,so there's none left on the"inside"of the "x".

PC on the left,NL on the right:

They're about 4" tall now, still not as tall as they were before I topped them...they are however, considerably wider than they were then:)

1798201

That'll about do it for now-I'll post up another update in a week or so-they should be considerably taller by then-the center shoots are starting to take off- as soon as the mains reach the edge of the pot,I'm planning on flipping them to flower-I'd like to let them veg a little longer, but "the box" is just too short to let them get very tall before I flip...
See you in a week (ish)

**edit** They're 29 days from sprout today.
