The Quadsquad Thread: A Community For Quadlining

Right on man!! :high-five:
Just an FYI, there is a group comparison grow that includes the Alaskan purple from Seedsman, if you wanted to see a bit about how it grows.
yes please
any links for it pal??
what about the bubble gum too?? lol

These are my girls currently in training - Jock Horror auto, Sour Diesel auto, and Girlscout Cookies auto. They are 28 days today, and the quadlining began a few days ago.

I use nodes 2&3, but I would like to try nodes 3&4 next time around.

I accidentally snapped a branch on the sour diesel so that branch is healing and probably won't be trained much.

Girlscout Cookies - my best looking girl right now in terms of quadlining. She has a really good shape starting.

Oh wow, just realised who's thread this is. Can't believe you beat me by 2 votes ya bastard haha. Fair play though mate. The first one you done on this thread is a beast! What she yield?

2 tiny votes :). In all fairness it was literally a coin flip in my opinion. I think if you would have had a 2nd picture you probably would have won it. The first one on this thread was my Tangerine Dream and that will go up for contest in 3 months. It was pretty close to a 500g yield on an 8 week veg. Glad you find your way to this thread, maybe give quadlining a shot sometime! Sounds like what you do currently is pretty close already.

Apologies to everyone for not being very involved recently. I hinted this at the end of my last journal but I am now officially engaged! I should start to be a little more active again now that everything is calming down. I am also going to drop my Auto beans soon (maybe tonight) so I will drop the link of my new journal once those get started in the next few days.

It does seem like it is going to be very hard for me to follow individual journals like I used to though. I used to follow everyone who quadlined but there are just too many people quadlining now. Part of the reason I made this thread was to have a solid tutorial that people can follow right in the beginning but it was also so people can post their pictures of quadlining. I am loving seeing all the updates from people! Keep up the good work everyone!

Ase, though the TD gets all the love... that GSC is one of the sicker plants I’ve seen in a long time from a cola perspective.

Edit: Congrats on the engagement!

Hedzenmedz MK-ULTRA autoflowers Quad-Line No-Till Grow Log

Along with our current quad-line grow [Early Girl auto (1 quad-line & 1 LST), Gorilla, Bad Ass Kush (BAK)], we have decided to grow some MK-ULTRA autoflowers with the quad-line method. Trying to get enough product ahead as later in the year we will be out of town for a couple of months.

May 4th : Put 3 MK-ULTRA autoflower seeds to soak in a shot glass. 2 cracked, 1 didn’t.
May 5th : All 3 seeds then went onto a wet paper towel in a baggie in a dark warm room.
May 6th : 2 seeds developèd tap roots, the one that didn’t was put back in the damp paper towel just in case. Planted the other 2 seeds in solo cups in a mixture of seedling soil, no-till & EWC, then put under t5 lights. Set up more air pots with no-till and planted some alfalfa and red clover as a cover crop.
May 7th : both seedlings are above the soil level. Took the helmets off both, although I may have damaged one of them. Checked the seed still in the damp paper towel - nothing yet, so I put 2 more MK-ULTRA autoflower seeds in a shot glass to start the process again . Damaged the Early Miss auto LST - broke off main tip. Will post photo of plant tomorrow. Checked and adjusted all ties on the Q-lines.

Ooohhhh ya wee fucker, my biggest photo is 450g with a 7 week veg!!!
Haha bollocks man you've got me like.
I'll get you by November though.
Not done a showcase auto for a while now so gonna end my season off with 2 of them.
Im due 2 different sponsors a grow log just now. I had to bail on another forum due to various complications and now im very much in photo mode so gonna top my season off here with 2 very big bangs.
Just going for rapid turn around untill then though :)

Here's my "ladies in training"-topped at 16 days old (last Friday),began training at 22 days (today)
They both kept pulling the tie-downs out of the soil,so,for now, this works.

I used those little bamboo skewers, and some frogtape- luckily the edge of the pot is the perfect height for this...right now,anyway...

I'm going to let the smaller branches catch up a little before I start messin' with them...

I need to find some fatter wire for tie downs-the stuff I tried was too thin, and the plants would just pull them right out...I can already see that some fanleaves are going to have to go real soon here, but it's part of the process-I usually just wing it,but I'm going to follow direction from "those what know" on this .

I'll post up progress when there is some,so "I'll be back" :peace:

**edit** I know I'm really using the wrong nodes, but by the time I found this thread, all I had left were nodes 1&2 :)

Just a little more bamboo action-the smaller branches joined the party this morning...

These things did a lot of growing overnight....a few fan leaves are gonna have to go
a little later on today...
That's it for now-when they reach the edges of the pots,I can tape tiedowns to the sides, and relax them a little to get the angle needed for the branches-they're a little too "flat" right now...
