The Quadsquad Thread: A Community For Quadlining

Here’s a few pics of some of those buds. I don’t think I posted any of these here.

It all looks great!
@Asesimo85 I too have seen this post elsewhere on the net. After discovering this technique here I started trying to find more info, because it really intrigued me. And it popped up on more than one occasion I believe. Keep it up, thanks for the education!

Side

side note! I had too much in that fridge. Had them in there for almost 3 weeks and rh still above 90. So I let them dry outside of the fridge a bit with a fan blowing across the open bags before jarring them up. Rh was under 70 before I jarred them.

Here is a link to the low and slow thread. I would just jump to the end and follow along from there. Lol
Thank you very much for the information! I just stumbled across that thread just before I looked at the notifications that you had responded. The dry and cure step are what im most nervous about. But I understand the process and think I have a pretty decent plan and location. Im just a nervous person until I actually do something lol

Same here, brother! That’s what makes this place such a good tool in a growers toolbox. Always good guidance to be found.

I decided my next grow will feature these strains:

Gorilla Glue #4, Original Sensible Seeds - My all time favorite strain and 50/50 Indica/Sativa. Never grown it before though.
Nepal Jam, Ace Seeds -80/20 Sativa/Indica.
Bubbas Gift Humboldt Seeds - 80/20 Indica/Sativa.
CBDream, Crop King Seeds - CBD strain. My fiance is the only one who has actually grown CBD strains. I just never have gotten around to it in coco so I wanted to try. Plus I will likely use a lot of it for topicals.

That's all I have for now. Should be germinating seeds within a few days.

Hi first post I have been doing this with common sence for a while didn't know it had a name ... also I came up with this 8 stage perpetual 2 week veg strait to flower talk about fast turn around ..I'm flowering under 4 hlg 600 rspec v2 but yea I try to make all my plants look like that

I am new to all of this. I am getting ready to start an indoor grow. I have only grown once before in a greenhouse so I am a total Newb. I was ask how I was going to train and I remember seeing quadlining on other threads, It looks Great I want to try it in my new indoor grow. I will be doing the Doc Buds kit I am finishing up cooking the soil and will soon set up my new tent outfitted with all new stuff, Can 33 Carbon filter and fan and new Mars Cob lights. I recognize some of the folks on this thread from others. Any Help along the way would be appreciated Thanks :D :thanks:

What gage wire should I get for the u shaped stakes you are using to hold them down with. I think I can buy some wiring the right size gage and bend them to use is this correct ?

I'd say about 10-12 gauge. But you can buy them pretty cheap at any garden center of your local "big box store". They're called garden staples. You can even get then cheaper online.

So, today I chopped down my OG Kush quadlined auto and here are some pics. Ideally, I would have liked to have gone a couple more weeks, but as of today it was already at day 113 total, day 75 in flower. I'm probably going to give most of it to my sister, and just keep maybe a 1/4 for myself. I'm thinking (hoping?) there's somewhere between 1.5-2oz once dry, based on visible volume of the buds. But that really depends on how dense the buds end up being. I did a basic wet trim of the fan leaves and tiny buds, and will dry trim the sugar leaves.

Pre-trim:

2 piles of trim - hash trim and not hash trim

Hangin' out to dry

Couldn't get a decent shot of the trichs for some reason, but they're mostly cloudy with some clear still. I only saw amber on the sugar leaves.

I use light hangers from home depo. Buy a roll for like 7 bucks or something.

Another option ive used is coat hangers. Coat hangers are cheap (dollar store) and easy to bend. I can get two stakes or one out of the hanger, depending on how long i need them to be.

I didn't know they still sale metal cloths hangers
