The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Brownie dosing update

I took the second half of the brownie at five. Previous to the addition of the liquid sunflower lecithin this would have been the second full brownie, instead of the second half of the morning brownie. It's three hours later. I've drenched, lifted, shifted, hauled and restructured my grow tents, written and posted the update and generally had a marvelous time singing and dancing to my playlist on YouTube.

The second dose today hit just as quickly as the first, within five minutes of ingestion. The morning dose hit me a second time about an hour in, creating a series of tingly body rushes and some amazing cerebral rushes at the same time. I neglected to mention this earlier. This second dose has me flying. It hits the system, settles in at this incredible mental level where everything feels wonderfully normal and buzzy, and it stays there for hours and hours and hours.

I feel confident that I can cut my brownie consumption in half and still get the same high. With the steps I've incorporated into the process more of those cannabinoids get into my system to help me heal too, so win/win. :laughtwo:

As I sort through my possessions to find those core things that speak to the soul I've been wondering what part of Dale I'd end up keeping. Today I realized it's been staring at me the entire time.

His bonsai tools.

Perfectly suited to my lifestyle and easy to pack and carry with me. Sweet.

They are so beautiful Sue. And if you use them his hands will be there to guide you. I love the little snips in the center with the red wrapped handles.

Somehow I knew you'd spot those Shiggity. :laughtwo: Those trimmers are sweet. I forgot they were in there. The scissors make trimming a breeze. It's a beautifully designed kit. He barely used it, but it brought him great joy every time he unwrapped it. Worth every penny to see that smile.

I challenge you then. And maybe I will try this too. Spend the next two months vegging and bonsai treating a photo into a compact and aesthetic beauty. I never did a bonsai cannabis grow. Have you? I would bend coils of wire around the branches so I could shape the branch into an interesting shape.

Can you tell I'm stoned? Hee hee. Have you ever been bud washing and knock a small bud right off the plant into the wash bucket? At first I was like " oh damn that sucked!" But then I remembered that stemless nugs dry faster. So these bugs were sitting on a chair in my grow room. (Yes I have a chair so I can just chill but I usually just sit on the pink foam). Au naturale half the time lol. It's very freeing. I think my flowering girls don't mind.

So I am smoking this high Brix Huckleberry Kush and two bowls in I catch myself getting auditory vibes that sound like a constant tone cricket at high speed, tight cheeks, big smile, and the top of my head is all tingly. Ummm it also tastes so different! The chem version is lavender hash with hints of coffee. This high Brix version has the lavender and hash and...sour berry and pine. Whoa. I am RIPPED!!!:lot-o-toke:

Thank you for sharing that. It gets real lonely here sometimes and I myself am toasted on Tikal, on top of my brownie dose, which surely must be wearing off by now, but I started smoking Tikal about an hour ago and how would I tell? :laughtwo:

Sadly, Shiggity, the two beauties in HB Kit soil in my grow are balanced THC:CBD and won't get a Sativa Babe like me high. I'll make up for that next run. I'm hoping for a Carnival and Bubba Kush.

The pictures of the Huckleberry Kush were mouthwatering. The description of the taste and smell only made that worse. :laughtwo: You're hooked for life. Wait until you try Twister.

I've been watching those tools appear in your grow photos lately.

I'm so glad you discovered this as a keepsake of Dale.

Hand tools can be magical.

I haven't stone carved in years (except for that hour shaping our rock into a waterfall) but every once in a while I open up the case and handle the tools - collected over a few years from mail order, reground and repurposed hardware store tools, new specialty tools I picked up in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Florence, Italy, over-used, lost temper tools from a New York City Chelsea street fair, and a Danby, Vermont yard sale. - Just looking at the tools causes muscles to remember the old grip and a tingling of memories. Then I get out the sharpening stones and reawaken their edges.

I'm so glad you discovered a little more magic in the pleasant occupations of your daily life.

Tools FTW!

Gawd, I love tools.

And now that I'm old, I have a ton of 'em. :yahoo: Each one was purchased for a DIY job (with my apologies to the tradesmen whose work I replaced). So yes, exactly Rado, when I remember that I have "one of those" and take it in hand, I remember when and why I bought it in the first place and the things I made or repaired with it. If I ever need a wet saw for tile or anything else, I got one! :cheesygrinsmiley: Anyone know that right-angle jaw tool for tricky sink plumbing? I got one! Car battery terminal cleaner? Got one! Razor blade hand plane? Got one!

 Spoken like a happy man.:hug::hug::hug::hug: Good evening Noob.

I found this in my camera roll. Carnival trimmings, 2015.

I need to call it a night. Falling asleep at the wheel here. Good night.

Goodnight Sue! I was just passing through and catching up. Great info on making brownies!

It was quite a change Bangabong. The update was required. I managed to cut my dose in half. Quite a significant difference for someone with my tolerance level.

Yeah, saying I'm going to bed and actually getting there are two different things. :laughtwo:

Love the tools. My mind immediately went to your little Med GOM (I think that's the one), lol.

:circle-of-love:

:laughtwo: She is next in line. LOL!

Ladies and Gentlemen, your attention please.

Welcome little ones. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

A big sigh of relief guys.

I like the way they all got individually wrapped this time. It means I get to reuse the plastic bags. Always a good thing.

This baby will carry me at least five hours. Yep. A very good thing. :blunt:

Daily Update: Day 62 & 64

Let's have a look see, shall we? :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

The veg tent. That Auto Jack Herer is just too close to the light. Let me think on this.

image10312.jpeg

The flowering tent. Geez, the CBD Critical Cure takes up so much space, and she's just getting started! This is going to be a fun ride. :laughtwo:

image10313.jpeg

Time to get this going Susan. I'll start the next tea as soon as I post this. This one's a neem/kelp drench and it requires 24 hours bubbling.

image10314.jpeg

Dark Devil Auto (Day 62) Enough said. :laughtwo:

I pulled out my Velcro strips and went to work.

image10323.jpeg

I ran out of Velcro, but I got the tallest ones down and the rest may be ok now.

Whew! I feel better about that now.

image10324.jpeg

I can get the light up higher, but I'll wait on that for now. I'll have to pull everyone out to do so, and I'm not ready for that today. This will work for now. Kinda interesting, if you ask me. Nothing got crushed or snapped and things are going to go vertical real soon.

Off to spread that joy now. No dallying here. Well, maybe a little. :battingeyelashes: :passitleft: Pass to the left please.

Edit:  I forgot to say the HB kit girls got a DeStress foliar today.

Indeed! I'm a tool whore! My wife sez I have more tools than she does shoes, and of course she is correct. I have tools that were created for the one and only purpose of fixing other tools! All my family and friends know where to go if they need a strange one time use tool ... so much so that I had put a sign out sheet on a clipboard in the garage. One thing that makes me less than happy ... replacing a tool due to it being "borrowed", especially since I usually needed it exactly when I realized it was "loaned"! My brother said he wasn't signing any paper to borrow a tool from me, but after he had to buy a couple of "one time" tools, he abated and signs the checkout sheet faster than John Hancock!

Sue the Sativa Girl :high-five:,

What are your three favorite Sativas? I have been trying to get into the Sativa side of things (OK, they were what I started smoking over 40 years ago) and would appreciate your thoughts. Medically speaking, I have the night time sleep and pain problems under control with a couple of choice Indicas. I am now on the quest to find the right daytime strain to help with energy levels, lethargy and pain (all are symptoms of my disease). I have an Afghani and a Skunk in Veg right now, and would like to expand the field of possible Sativa candidates. I'm a seed kind of guy, but I do clones after I find the strain.

AND .. are you going to eat all of the brownie or are you going to share? Looks awesome!
Thank you!

Best of Buds

JB

By all means JB, help yourself. They're pretty potent, so I'd start with one wrapped and wait a couple hours or five. I jumped the gun right now, but I love that zippy sensation as the doses overlap. :laughtwo:

image36789.jpg

I don't have a lot of experience with sativas, but I do know Carnival's right at the top of my list of favorites. This Tikal I'm trying out now is amazing for daytime use. I'm alert and energized. Carnival's almost like meth, it's so speedy. You see why I'm drawn to it. Lol! I detailed my kitchen the first time I smoked Carnival. Haha!

Strawberry Blue, which I'm growing again, for good reason, is 75% sativa and one of my favorites as well. That one was a fun high. Yeah, fun. :battingeyelashes:

Anyone else have any thoughts to offer JB?
