The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

:drool::drool::welldone: You've officially made my mouth water Sue!

:green_heart: I hope you are having a great day today. It's a clear sunny day here, highs in the low 60's.
:tokin: oh, sorry, I forgot to share. :passitleft:

How did I miss this PinkyGreen? Thanks. :passitleft:

Daily Update: Dark Devil Auto - Day 60

I'll do my best to stay quiet, so you can just enjoy her beauty.

Yeah..... I got a little carried away. No apologies though. She was worth it, don't you think? :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Daily Update: Day 62

Finally time for a drench!!! This CBD Critical Mass is amazingly drought resistant. Time to get the TransWater in.

image10217.jpeg

She took two whole gallons of water in the end. Thirsty one.

image10218.jpeg

The canopy's coming along nicely.

image10219.jpeg

Back in the tent. The CBD Critical Cure is a slow starter as she gets closer to her own next drench.

image10220.jpeg

Look at this perky little side shoot on the Critical Cure. Sweet. :battingeyelashes:

image10221.jpeg

The CBD Critical Mass is a bit temperamental after the drench. All the tops are flopped over.

image10222.jpeg

Here she is a few minutes ago, about four hours later??? I lose track of the time. It all flows together.

image10223.jpeg

No one up yet. The fan was blowing directly on them for who knows how long, so I watered them all with a mild Tea.

image10225.jpeg

The Auto tent. I need to drench the empty pot. It missed the last one because it was in darkness.

image10224.jpeg

image10227.jpeg

While I was drenching the Critical Mass I cleaned up her leaves and tossed them onto this pot. Give the worms something to play with.

image10228.jpeg

The rest of the autos also got drenched today, including the Dark Devil. I plan a bubbled neem tea for the next drench, so this one was a shot of kelp tossed across the soils and watered in with 1/2 gallon of the coconut water/aloe vera juice drench, lovingly scooped over the surface one ounce at a time. Yes, you heard that correctly. I pour the drench over the surface one tiny ounce at a time, taking care to let the liquid work its way down through every inch of this soil. It takes a trained ear to hear when the soil hits the point where it's time to stop, and I'm pretty in tune with my pots in that respect. Not that I always act on what I'm hearing, mind you. LOL! It's a good well-drained soil sitting on a SWICK. It's hard to overdo it.

image10229.jpeg

All the SWICK reservoirss got topped off too. The Auto Jack Herer took an entire gallon of water in hers. This one keeps getting away from me.

image10230.jpeg

That's it for me today. Thanks for stopping in and making my corner all the brighter by you're just being here. Continue spreading that joy now. I'm going back to enjoying my persuing of a righteous buzz. I'm thinking of doing a late-night Callanetics session, which would give me permission to grab another piece of brownie. I'm thinking there's no good reason not to do so.

Gosh, this was great fun today. Nothing like a bit of deprivation to make you appreciate it better, you know?

:Namaste:

Hey Sue, Grizzwald could use some late night (for us) support. Saw a friend die first thing at work today. Feel free to use my porch if James gets on too.

:circle-of-love:

Thanks for the heads up. I'll let him know I'm there. :circle-of-love:

joy report

My daughter added me to their family google account and now I have google red. No commercials and the music follows me. At long last the play lists are actual play lists and not a series of commercials holding up the music I was seeking.

Life is incredibly sweet. Quick, somebody pinch me to see if I'm dreaming.

Ouch!!! :laughtwo: Good, this was too good to find out I was dreaming. LOL!

Nothing will take you out of blissful dancing faster than a commercial for a leaky bladder. Glad you got rid of them Sue!

I think Sweet Seeds should rename DDA to SweetSueAuto

I've been in contact with their representative to be sure they were aware of the excitement we've generated for their seeds, and not just the Dark Devil Auto. It excites me to have been able to fire up a community of growers over this exotically beautiful strain. There's not a week goes by without a new grower joining the group.

I haven't taken the time to check out your Pineapple Fields grow. Are you seeing the same type of excitement over there? I'll swing by sometime in the next couple days and check it out. I find the community threads the most rewarding in many ways. I live for this journal, but to be able to bring like minds together in a successful group effort is a sweet achievement second to none. I was really thrilled to see you start yours. Now someone needs to start one for the Blueberry strains.

Hahaha! We'll be awash with community grows before we're done. :laughtwo:

my dilemma

CBD Critical Cure is ready for her next drench. That means she's ready to flip, right now. The plan is to schedule it so that the drench on flip is a TransWater and the next will be an Energy. Hit the plant with a nice boost as the flowering hormones begin to express and get the buds set for the CAT. I was hoping to hold her off, but look at her! She's going to fill more than half a tent as it is. It's got to be now.

image10243.jpeg

Here's the dilemma. The Auto Jack Herer is loving this GOD panel. Can you blame her? I have two options with her. I can move her under the Advanced panel with the CBD Critical Mass and keep her at 20/4 lighting, or I can leave her here under the GOD and hit her with 12/12. Kinda torn here guys. Any thoughts? I have a couple hours to make the decision.

image10244.jpeg

Move it to the Advanced light, that's a good quality light I doubt it will make that much difference in a small space. Especially if you have to drop it to 12/12 to keep it under the GOD panel. Doc Grows great bud with the Advanced so I wouldn't worry about it.

I'd leave her under the God on 12/12, she will be fine regardless of less hours. I've been running everything under 11/13 for a while and still getting the same numbers as I did on 18/6.
Hug?

Certainly.

Thanks neiko. I'd forgotten Doc uses the Advanced panels. I was hesitant to mess with the excellent bud building she has going on, and I just knew shocking her with the light change wouldn't be as great an idea as it might have sounded like. I'll go with that then.

Brownie Update: new dosing guidelines

Yesterday I over-indulged, and had a marvelous time, thank you very much. :laughtwo: That really was a splendid time, and thank you so much my generous friend. You miss the purity of a good sativa when you've been without. Smoking the Afghani was almost tortuous for a Sativa Babe like me.

Today I took the responsible route and started with half my regular dose, the equivalent of 1/2 gram of plant material. I took that dose at 11 AM. It's now 4:25, making it a full 5 1/2 hours since the dose. I'm still high enough that I don't anticipate dosing again until 5. That means I've effectively cut the dose in half. Considering how I feel right now, I could probably push it a bit more, but I think a six hour carry is enough to be excited about. I've already primed the system with mango to clear the receptors and taken my dose of apigenin to distract the liver enzymes.

The difference here is definately the liquid sunflower lecithin. Using this one additional ingredient means the meds hit faster, harder and have a longer hang time. This is an across the board improvement in edible efficacy. Do yourself a favor everyone, and order some today.

Groceries are stocked and it's now time to do some drenching and shifting. Time for a flip! :yahoo: :slide: :yahoo:

I thought autos were supposed to stay under 18/6 or 20/4. I could be wrong, of course. Good afternoon Sue!!!:hug::love:

Good afternoon Noob :hug::hug::love:

Autos will grow under any light, and one of the advantages is that you can shift them around if necessary and they'll just keep right on going, but that was a drastic enough change that I hesitated to just do it. As it is, I'm glad I waited, because even Icemud said these panels are somewhat comparable, giving the nod of excellence to the GOD. Neiko kicked my decision over the edge.

Thanks neiko. I'd forgotten Doc uses the Advanced panels. I was hesitant to mess with the excellent bud building she has going on, and I just knew shocking her with the light change wouldn't be as great an idea as it might have sounded like. I'll go with that then.

Daily Update: Day 61 & 63

The CBD Critical Cure got the TransWater Drench and her pre-Flip trimming and she switched tents with the Auto Jack Herer. Her timer is set for 12/12 beginning at 8pm tonight. :slide: Ladies and Gentlemen, we have reached the beginning of SweetSue's Flowering tent. Wow! That took 18 months. :laughtwo: I sure am a hard-headed one, aren't I? LOL!

On with the Flip. First step: get the CBD Critical Cure drenching. I mixed up a little over a gallon and a half of TransWater and dropped her into the tote, soaked some of the drench over top to help the wicking process and left her to start soaking.

image10266.jpeg

Next step: pull the Auto Jack Herer out and transfer her to the other tent. Damn! Wish I hadn't filled the reservoirs yesterday. This basin filled with perlite can hold an incredible amount of water. Add that to the weight of this LOS and the plant herself, and we're talking easily over 40 lbs. This is why I do Callanetics. No problemo. :blunt:

image10261.jpeg

image10262.jpeg

Shes gonna be too tall for the light, and she's just gonna have to deal with it. Sitting on her Aswick She's a decent height. Look at her stacking those buds!

image10263.jpeg

image10264.jpeg

Under the Advanced panel to finish out her life with her familiar 20/4 light schedule. This makes the third panel she's been under. I wonder if that registers as a stressor to her and might increase trichomes? Hahaha! Ever the optimist.

By the time the CBD Critical Mass is ready to flip the Med GOM 1.0 will be harvested and that pot will be shifted to the veg/auto tent.

image10265.jpeg

Tike to trim the Critical Cure.

image10267.jpeg

Looks good, doesn't it? Let's get more light penetration.

image10268.jpeg

There. That's a start. In the back of my mind I can hear Doc say "Just a bit more Susan." LOL! I'll give it another go in a couple days. Give her a chance to get used to GOD. :laughtwo:

image10269.jpeg

Into the Flowering tent. Critical Cure, meet GOD.

Thank you Stage, for being such a good sport about the light. My plants, in particular, thank you. After I taste the first harvest under this panel I'm certain my personal appreciation will increase. :battingeyelashes:

image10270.jpeg

Trim. It'll become mulch. Just in time too.

image10271.jpeg

Let's peek in on the Dark Devil Auto. She's at Day 61. Sweet Seeds says to expect around 60 Days. I have two harvests developing here. Up under the light she's just about there.

image10273.jpeg

image10274.jpeg

image10275.jpeg

The side colas look to be over two weeks away, sitting so far from the Timber Vero 240. You can see, she's still working on stacking.

image10276.jpeg

In contrast, the main colas are quickly finishing off. We're talking within days. She's accelerated at a surprising rate.

image10277.jpeg

I'm gonna take the main colas when they're ready and pull the rest in under the panel so they can finish off in style. Cool, two harvests. I can live with that.

image10278.jpeg

Whew! That was more work than it looked like. :laughtwo:

Thanks for for stopping by. Now the real fun begins. We get to watch the Auto Jack Herer come into her finish and the Critical Cure begin her transformation to mature womanly flowering beauty. I love these moments. :laughtwo:

I need to to find food. I've been at this for hours now. Lol! A lotta work for a hobby, you know what I mean? :laughtwo:

Hey, spread the joy. :circle-of-love: Wouldn't want you to forget. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:
