The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Well, since I saw your face around the corner it's fair I head to bed. I get my exam back tomorrow!! How exciting! Nervous and excited both at the same time. I'm sure I did fine but, I know you know what I'm talking about.

Get some sleep Susan

:hugs:

General alert for the galley. Spreading the word for the chief.

"King John C special chair"

Now, that was designed to pique your interest, so go ahead and check it out.

Oh wow that's beautiful and incredible noble of the people here at the magazine. Wow. I'm going to talk to the wife in the morning and see what we can make happen.

This community continues to amaze me at what it truly means to be apart of this place. We truly are a family around here.

I'm pleased to say that the fund for King John's chair has reached its intended goal. :woohoo:

Great info BB14!

I will caution Amazon users to look for the best price. BB14s link to Pro-TeKt was 8oz for just over $7usd, the best price. I also found the same thing (on Amazon) for $40 + shipping. Not a quart....8oz. Be careful.

Pigeons - Use 1 tbs of Monterey Garden Insect Spray (Spinosad) in a gallon of water spray that on your plants AND the soil. This will tco them ASAP. Do not wait, thrips can get out of hand fast. Also you need to apply this again in 3 days ... not 2 not 4 not 5...or the eggs will hatch and you will have to apply 2x in 3 days again until you get it done in that manner (every 3 days).

This is how I started my IPM routine. You can add in 1/2 tsp of Protekt to that as well. Silica is GREAT to help plants defend against pests

And to that I add in 1-2 tbs of Fulpower - fulvic acid FTW

You can of course source elsewhere but Amazon usually has best prices and you can manage to get those 3 items from the manufacturer.

They are all organic 100%

Now if you don't have Neem cake meal that's another thing I make a tea with and add to the above. Neem is a natural pest repellent - I even use it for mice and it works not kidding. It doesn't kill mice per se.. they eat it and well... never mind. No more mice ... and no more bugs either and it's good for plant health.

I'm not sure what those chems are you listed but what I posted ^^^ will get rid of what pests you have there AND your plants will love you long time. You can then do that application 2x a week all the way to harvest for a pest free grow.

Oh you can foiler spray your plants with this - Chapin 2000 FTW

With that ^^^ you can then foiler spray your plants with all sorts of goodness - even water they like to uptake thru leaves just like when it rains outside. The plants will absorb thru leaf surfaces almost as much as thru roots. I'm an organic grower so foiler spray with nutrient teas is what I like. It's pretty easy too, if it wasn't I wouldn't do it. I'm the laziest gardener out here.

This is something that you should not wait on. Thrips multiply VERY fast and also fly (not very well TFG).

Good luck...

Oh almost forgot about Sue - Good to see you going green again!! :circle-of-love: Much love and congrats on the MOTY... wooohooo WOW that's nice!

Your dark Devil seems to have taken the topping without skipping a beat. She (and all your girls) look fantastic.

Yes! It's very encouraging to see how well they recovered. :thumb:

I'll need to top my little guys in about a week I think, after the 5th node, and it makes me nervous just thinking about it. Sue, your success with this will make it easier. :thanks:

You'd laugh at how I agonize before topping. :laughtwo: The first one's the hardest. My photo plants get trained the way Graytail taught me, one topping at about 12-14" and bend them to my will for a couple days to set the canopy. That includes my precious CBD Critical Cure.

Daily Update: Day 25 &27

Let's take a stroll, shall we? Here, follow me. It's incredibly convienient to have these tents right here in the living room. Not many women would be pleased with the fan noise, but then I'm not like most women, am I? I also have almost no visitors. :laughtwo:

The auto tent. The Med GOM 1.0 (back right corner) is actively blooming. The Fatasmo Express (front) got a couple more limbs restrained and she's showing serious pre-flowering activity. The Auto Jack Herer is just setting those roots and getting ready to explode. Her limbs need a little more growth before I start playing with them.

No red flags.

The photo tent. Looking like typical HB soil plants. Standing at 4.5 & 5" at the moment. Still coming up about 1/4" a day.

image8256.jpeg

No complaints here either.

The Dark Devil Auto, at 25 days, is growing at about 1/2" a day. She's standing a good 8" right now, and look at how healthy this one is!

All's well in SweetSue's kingdom today. I can go back to study and packing now. Tomorrow I get to carry 20 boxes down 40 stairs to the porch. That'll be my exercise for the day. LOL! Stage one, almost complete. :cheesygrinsmiley:

You all have a wonderful day. Take every opportunity to spread more joy around now. I'm counting on you. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Sitting on the bed with my daughter, sorting through the family "treasure" box of tiny things that have no real value beyond sentimental. Our family went for tiny mementos. :laughtwo:

A delivery came in while we were playing. These are my prize from Crop King Seeds. I chose Azura Haze and Bubba Kush, feminized of course. I ordered five of each and they were nice enough to include a couple extra. Sweet! :battingeyelashes:

I'm pleased to say that the fund for King John's chair has reached its intended goal. :woohoo:

I got the PM this morning. Was very happy to see the the chair was already over funded. Good job 420. Brought tears to my eyes.

What a beautiful gesture guys. I just woke up and asked the wife. And it's already been taken care of. How beautiful!

:hugs:

We all owe him a heck of a lot more than that. :Namaste:

Those of us who've been on 420Mag for a few years have run across his immensely helpful posts time and again. His volume of work is one of the largest of any 420 member. It was so cool to see that it was all taken care of in a matter of hours! Direct and personal help - ya gotta love it!

Thank you, KingJohnC! :adore: :blunt:

LOL...wait until you've done it 10 or 20 thousand times. You'll start considering a weed whacker. I'm not kidding either. With a light touch I'm confident they would be just fine. In fact, it's a weed, it will come back with a vengeance.

I don't bother with scissors or a blade unless cloning, just pinch it.

Reminds me of a video I saw once of a guy taking a weed whacker to some hermies. Not recommended if you have neighbors, lol. You'll stink up an entire subdivision.

I just find it amusing is all. I totally understand though, I fussed and fretted over it once too.

Hi Heirloom!

I know what you're saying, and also understand. But at this point in my learning curve, everything is an adventure, and fraught with the potential for glory or disaster. I will tell you, I am never more in the moment than when I'm struggling with a decision on what to do next with my grow. One day it will be old hat to me, but for now it is new and exciting and anxiety inducing and just an amazing new experience.

I'll savor that while I can! :yummy:
