The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Daily Update: Day 20/18

The gallery glitch is finally under control, so let me get these up now.

The Dark Devil Auto is now 18 days old. Everyone else is running two days ahead at 20 days.

The auto tent. I thought I'd take a closer look at internal growth today.

image7995.jpeg

She and the Dark Devil are showing the slowest growth right now, but I know both of these will catch up just fine.

image7996.jpeg

The temps in here are a tad higher (a good thing IMO) because the Mars-Hydro panels create more heat. Nothing to be concerned about until we get to the hot months, and I should have the Budmaster by then. Which reminds me, I haven't heard back from them at all yet. I fired off another inquiry.

The tiny closet.

image7997.jpeg

I checked the temperature in here and it's running about 72 F. Workable. It'll warm up as we go. I have two more monitors coming so I track all three spaces.

Oh, it's 5PM already. Where has the day gone? Time for my evening brownie dose and time again to make another batch of brownie oil. I've weighed out 10 grams of mixed bag, because this batch I tossed in the Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia that was the most immature plant in my last harvest. It had trichomes, but they were very early. Might as well use it as filler.

image36368.jpg

This batch includes the AJH x AA, the last of the Dark Devil Auto, some Jamaican Dream and topped off with Carnival. Going into the oven now for a quick 30 minute decarb at 225 F to start the process.

image36369.jpg

I probably have enough on hand to do two more batches after this. Can't really complain. It's been a stellar run. :cheesygrinsmiley: All this time I've been growing and I still haven't figured out how to not run out. Geez, this should be easier to make happen, don't you think?

While out today I picked up a decent lazy Susan and moved the drench supplies and instructions next to the sink. Now everything's centralized. Made my life a little easier. :slide:

image36371.jpg

Have a wonderful day everyone. Get out there and spread more of the joy you've become known for. :laughtwo: I'm going back to my sorting and packing, working on letting go. This is quite a humbling exercise. I know I'm going to feel purged by the time I get it down to what I can't let go of. It's surprisingly difficult to release these small items imbued with so much memory. The boxes are stacking up. :battingeyelashes:

All those boxes. All those parts of 'him' and 'us.' I am very proud of you for finding new spaces for 'you' to grow and live.

You are impressively perceptive Rad. :circle-of-love:

image8008.jpeg

Crumbling this by hand is labor intensive. It takes me the better part of an hour before I'm completely satisfied that it's fine enough for brownie oil production. The entire time I'm handling it, I'm infusing healing energy and gratitude into it. I honestly believe this makes a difference in the end results of this medication. That personal touch adds an energy we just haven't figured out how to quantify. :battingeyelashes:

Time to start the oil-making.
:ciao:

I know I don't say much, but I am loving this journal so far. :thumb:

And I'm loving seeing you here MzSiroz. :hugs:

lets see the Brownies Sue :thumb:

There you are. I've missed you Cronic. :circle-of-love: I fell asleep earlier than normal last night and left the oil mix cooling in the oven. When I woke at 5 this morning I stirred it vigorously and popped it into the fridge for a few hours, so I won't be baking them until later.

This morning I'm going to do things a bit differently. I want to test out the Jamaican Dream that's been curing now for over two months and smells unbelievably delicious on its own, so I'm going to have my mango now and then get blasted in a half hour. Then I'll have my regular brownie dose at about 10 or so.

When I bake the brownies, I'll be sure to post pictures, as per your request. :battingeyelashes:

Daily Update (part 1): Day 19/21

Getting ready to start putting together the aerated compost tea for the LOS pots. I decided to take a moment and pull the photos out so we could see them in daylight.

image8013.jpeg

I cannot say enough how convienient it is having these fabric pots inside crates. The plants are now 21 days old.

image8017.jpeg

When I put them back in I switched lights on them. Until the Budmaster arrives I'll do that every week.

image8018.jpeg

It appears I have a significant slope in this pot. Curious. I missed this because I've been keeping my head out of the tents on purpose. I think I'm happy with that for the moment. I may level it out with the next drench.

image8019.jpeg

On to the tea.

Cleaning up after the teas. I drain the crate on the lid of the tote I use and a turkey baster becomes invaluable in cleaning up. No spills. Now the game becomes how much of this remaining water can I get up with that baster. :laughtwo:

Childlike Joy is one of the finer indulgences that can come with age. :battingeyelashes:

Looking real good, Sue! :goodjob:

Your Critical Cure looks amazing. Mine has a lot of catching up to do to come close to yours.

Yours is off to a great start. You're running ten days behind me, so this will be a good indicator of what to expect with yours. Theyre both in kit soil too, so that works out really nice for you, if I do it right. :laughtwo: if I mess up Graytail will probably jump in and let me know (you heard that, didn't you Graytail?) so we don't mess you up. I sometimes forget things. I'm trying harder, and having you watching will motivate me to pay closer attention.

Daily Update (part 2): Day 19/21

On to the autos. The ACT is ready to go.

image8026.jpeg

The aerated tea at this point is EWC, a pinch of peat moss with some powdered barley grain that I added early this morning so it could bubble for four hours. Then I added FulPower (fulvic acid), the drain water from the reconstituted kelp meal I made yesterday, and some Agsil.

image8027.jpeg

I split it in half and topped off the half gallon bottle on the right with good water. Then I split that bottle and filled again with water. That's what I used to drench. Each pot got a half gallon of the tea.

image8028.jpeg

Right about here it was time to get the brownies going again. The oil mix has been sitting in the fridge for six hours and out coming to room temperature for about an hour. Into the oven it goes. 225 F, just until it melts.

image8029.jpeg

I started watering with the Dark Devil Auto. She's at Day 19 and starting to show pre flowers. :battingeyelashes:

image8030.jpeg

image8031.jpeg

Moving on to the auto tent I started with the Fantasmo Express. The rest of the plants, including this sparkling specimen, are all at Day 21. I watered each pot with their half gallon of tea and then began the process of drenching from the bottom.

image8032.jpeg

The wire basket this plant sits in fits right down into the drench tote too! Cool!! Make my life easier. :slide:

I used Transwater for the bottom drench. I sprayed some from above too. I want them really drenched. I don't plan to touch them again until next week, at which time I'll start up the SWICKs (still need to figure out how to make that happen with the 10 gallon pot).

image8034.jpeg

Back to the brownies, the oil is ready for baking.

image8036.jpeg

This is the bowl after the pan is loaded.

image8037.jpeg

This is the bowl as it gets to the sink for washing. Waste not, want not. :laughtwo:

image36380.jpg

Tried a different pattern today. It looks more checkerboard. I think I like organic more. Next time. :battingeyelashes:

image8038.jpeg

I always use a dash of vegetable oil before mixing, and today, as I reached into the pantry, the hemp oil caught my eye and I thought "Why not?" Worse things could happen than me making my brownies even healthier than they already are.

image8039.jpeg

The brownies finished up about the same time I finished watering the autos. God, they smell good. I get to have my first one out of this batch in about an hour. Time for mango.

Everyone back in place. I moved the fan from above to below. Hanging like that it was blocking an entire section of the light panel. Can't have that now, can we?

image8043.jpeg

Alright, I have some serious studying to do. I've set myself the goal of working through the How To Make Concentrated Cannabis Oil thread and take notes. We're talking a lot of pages and mounds of valuable information and I haven't walked through in a straight line yet. Today I make that happen.

You all have a wonderful continuation of your day. I'll be out and about periodically, but I'm attempting to keep the nose to the grindstone for this one, so just brief entertainment. Thanks for stopping by. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

All set to go for another three and a half days. :cheesygrinsmiley:
