I'll be harvesting these two on Wednesday. I watered them today and it was obvious they'd gone through a change overnight. They're turning cloudy in a frenzy. No signs of amber yet, so I'm still on the safe side. :laughtwo:

My jack herer met it's maker today, me, with a different hat on,, fooled it completely,, we had such a laugh later, ha

This plant major dissapoints me, bad plant, bad, go to the corner,,

Buggy, tiny whispy buds, smells to die for, but not enough, not for me, not when I have other choices

So, hit the road jack,, doncha come back till my growing improves,, i watched a ' strain hunters' video on growing jack herer,, oh my,, what they could do,, two plants growing, one soil, one hydro, everything else identical,, hydro plant outgrew and outproduced over four times more,, unreal jack herer plants,,

Not mine,, nope,, bad plant,, bad, get outside now, in the cold,, actually, it got put outside in freezing, for a few minutes, thot it might kill some bugs,, Bugs love jack,,

Oh ya, the reason for my post, neat forgot,, ha

Bongs agin,, i wanted to mention something else about the cleaning, or perhaps a tip to lessen the cleaning,, the screen,, yuk, eww, you know,, now, I am not sure if all bongs are similar but my bong has a quite small hole beneath where the screen goes, the bowl, well, I do not use a screen, I crumple a wee bit o tin foil into an imperfectly shaped ball, a small one, and just place it at the bottom,,

it does not fit super snug at all and allows plenty o air/smoke to pass thru. I have a wee pin I keep handy and use it to dig out the spent ash and the little foil ball each bowl and givehe ball a rub between the fingies and it be good to go. If I lose it or it gets the size of a baseball, I throw it out, usually a strike, right into the trash.. Ground breaking stuff, I know,, i just had to get it out there,, ha

Thank you for this nivek. :hugs: I'm going to give it a try. I buy my screens at a shop around the corner that'll close this week for good. I'd been trying to figure out what I'd do about that. You may have been my answer. :battingeyelashes:

Good morning Sue. Hope your growing is going well. Just a heads up on the screen issue. I'm pretty sure smoking aluminum foil as a screen with your bud is unhealthy. I would do a lil research before you start adding rolled up balls of aluminum foil to your bowls. Just my own opinion. I use glass screens or none at all. Enjoy your day!

This had already occurred to me. I won't even boil water in an aluminum pot or cook something in aluminum foil without a buffer of parchment paper.

Somewhere, back in my distant memory banks I can hear my mother warning me about the connection between cooking with aluminum and the incidence of dementia. That caution has stuck with me all these years. I won't hesitate to try the foil in a pinch, but it won't be my regular method. I can't find glass screens here. The shop where I buy my screens couldn't get them this year and now she's closing. I may have to include some in my next order to the Rainforest.

Oh!!!! The Rainforest! Today's the day I get to start my soil!!! :woohoo: :yahoo: My Pro-Mix is due for delivery today. :yahoo: It'll be a month to the new journal as soon as I get the soil mixed. :party: Oh wow! This means I'll get the new plants started and it'll be time to run off to Paradise! OMG! What an exciting couple months! :laughtwo:

the tinfoil ball,, probably does give off toxins,, once, one light,, then it gets covered in tar and toxins and is good to go,, i think new research will show that at this point, the tinfoil ball is mega healthy,, actually improves health and fitness, i think,, ha
