The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Beautiful pics! Color is especially. I love this place. And Sue you have some way of bringing a little tear to my eye sometimes.

Did you say day 125? Are the Carnivals autos? Isn't that like 17 weeks?

How much do you think you will get off of them?

Well good morning lazyfish. Thank you for the kind words. :hugs: The Carnivals are photos. Yep, 126 days and counting. My basic policy with photos from seed is to try and flower them at least as long as I had them in veg. If I'm lucky I'll keep her going until the 18th, my projected harvest date.

:laughtwo: When I wrote that I realized that I had to clarify the difference between a plant propagated from seed and one grown by clone. Look guys, SweetSue's all grown up. Lol!

Good morning everyone.

Six hours of uninterrupted sleep. Whoa! A powerful drug, no? :laughtwo: Using the Virtual Fireplace has made so much difference to my peace of mind. The room feels more full, less lonely, making it possible for me to focus on my studies easier. Just a couple more months of this to get through. Lol!

Get out there people, spread all the joy you can today. What a difference it'll make in your own life, not to mention the myriad of lives you'll enhance as you make your way along your own path. Grab those hugs where you can. Hugs are a healing force all their own. I'll beat that one into your brains before I'm done.

In the most loving way, of course. :battingeyelashes:

Porridge calls....... Wait....... I'm really tasting a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel from McD's. Deal. Get dressed and out the door then Susan. The stomach is growling! Later guys. Love you all. :ciao:

Sometimes it feels absolutely decadent to be starting my day with magic brownies. :laughtwo:

Feeling very blessed right now, as I wait for the first signs of the buzz. It's so nice to use a recipe that gives me two experiences at the "hitting of the buzz" so to speak. :laughtwo: These brownies make you smile in a big way right about...............NOW. :battingeyelashes:

Then they'll hit like that again in about 90 minutes, but I'll have been high the entire time. Ahhhh that lecithin's an amazing product.

Every time I come to this place I get hungry.
Guess I'll have to go to the store.
It's a jam sandwich otherwise (that is where you take two pieces of bread and jam together firmly).

 It's almost as bad as Tead's thread sometimes. He has more flair. :battingeyelashes:

What the hell. :battingeyelashes:

Omg are those "Tops" rolling papers I see there. Wow I've not seen those since I was put in prison for cultivation I didn't even know you could buy those I thought they just came with the pouches of tobacco. Toss those sue and get you some zig zags or some jobs but the 1.25 or else your rolling up way to much paper and smoking way to much paper to the point of offending the beautiful flowers your smoking lol imho

Obviously, I have a difficult time actually killing them. Carn1:6 is now 47 days old and sitting in the bathroom window. There's something special about having a cannabis window plant. :laughtwo: I'm up high enough that no one sees in my windows at all, making this experiment very safe. Today I'll put together a CFL array for evenings when the curtain must be closed. I can't bear cutting her off from the light that much, poor dear. Look at how hard she's trying to be beautiful enough to be kept alive. :battingeyelashes:

:laughtwo: I'll take that under advisement Ohioboy. Lol! These were left over from before Dale died. I gave away all the ones I got with the MOTY package because I almost never smoke a joint.

My biggest problem with a joint is that smoking will only keep me righteously buzzed for about twenty minutes, and then it gradually tapers off unless I refresh. Well, I'm usually too busy to stay focused enough on that, and I slip out of the buzz. With edibles I'm coasting up here, right where it's the most comfortable, and if I want to go into free fall I can take four or five quick hoots and I'm doing mental aerial acrobatics.

Edibles are my preferred reality.

Ditchweed, maybe I need to make mine thicker. :laughtwo: You guys will have me perfecting the art of rolling a joint before I meet my next husband and I'll knock his socks off first time I execute one in front of him. :laughtwo:

I know none of you really weigh it out....... God, that was a crazy time, stretching it out..... but if you had to guess, how much would you say you roll in a typical joint? I'm coming out of a history mired in a serious belief in lack, and this is one of those things I want to forever change. I just realized that the size of my joints is mostly determined by my history of not having enough.

Ancient history, I'll have you know. One hard-headed woman here, who wants to train herself, with your help, to roll a decent joint. They don't have to be smoked in a single sitting. :laughtwo: I'll give it some thought and roll another in a couple days. The place smells so wonderful after a joint. :battingeyelashes:

That's the spirit. When you roll up a big fatty, copious amounts of weed poking out the ends
is a marvelous sight indeed. My first thought is - Now that I can work with.

Cheers

Oh, we would make good neighbors. Smoke Break!!!! :laughtwo:

It's a challenge pulling off the timing for a smoke buddy session here. Best ones I ever had were with k0ncept. The man had amazing timing and we'd suddenly connect on my Spot and take off for an hour or so.

I don't dare venture into that realm in the neighborhood where I physically life. A few friends smoke and know I do, and a couple of them are aware of SweetSue, but I have no smoke buddy in the real world at this time. I'm excited about seeing who becomes the first person to change that. My husband filled that role for 34 years. Since he was a hermit by nature we had little company in and out of the house.

Hard to believe huh? All this contained for all those years? :laughtwo: I had ways of personal expression. I'm very well known around here. Just not as someone you sit and smoke with.

Thanks Rifleman. The batteries in my scale decided to die just now. :laughtwo: The cosmos coming through? "Let it go woman and roll a big, fat joint already!" Lol!

To tell you the truth Sue, I have no idea.
I have never used a scale. If I grow enough to roll hog legs for the foreseeable future then I see that as a massive success.
That is the only goal.

A noble goal indeed, my new friend. :battingeyelashes:  Let me contemplate while I walk.

Seems like mine average ~0.5g each. I smoke an oz a week, and usually around eight joints a day, plus or minus. Check my math, I've had three medicated mints and several vape hits, but it think it averages out. :loopy:

Do you roll them one at a time? This always brings to mind the tea ceremony. :laughtwo: Life is rife with these small opportunities to stop, slow down, and simply appreciate things like how beautiful these buds are and the delightful olfactory celebration that explodes into the room when you break them up. I'm partial to using my fingers. I have a grinder, which I love, but it's not the same thing.

The crisp crease of the paper, the even distribution of flower and the challenge of getting the tension just so......

A lot of romance in the rolling of a joint. As you can see, I get carried away. :laughtwo:

Or a guy can just roll one on his lap as he motors down the freeway with the cruise control on, steering with his knee. :cheesygrinsmiley: You develop a nice sense of feel that way, rolling it half blind.

But my method of choice is still my old brass bat - two hits, and a little half one to finish it off. It may take me five minutes or longer to empty it if I'm doing something or reading. Then I'll check my altitude and reload as necessary. :slide: No muss no fuss, no cloud of burnt rope in the air or following me around.

Next, I want a nice dab rig beside my easy chair.

(and a rosin press ... and ...)
