The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Do you roll them one at a time? This always brings to mind the tea ceremony. :laughtwo: Life is rife with these small opportunities to stop, slow down, and simply appreciate things like how beautiful these buds are and the delightful olfactory celebration that explodes into the room when you break them up. I'm partial to using my fingers. I have a grinder, which I love, but it's not the same thing.
The crisp crease of the paper, the even distribution of flower and the challenge of getting the tension just so......
A lot of romance in the rolling of a joint. As you can see, I get carried away. :laughtwo:

AAMOF I do roll each one fresh so to speak. :) Most of my smoking friends are pipe people but not me. I grind bud fresh for each joint, and only roll ahead of time when I have to leave the property and be "peopley". My preferred paper is the 1&1/4 ZigZag, in the orange package. Yeah...it's a process. :biglaugh: I do find a certain zen in it though. I've done it so much I don't even have to look at it anymore. :rollit:

I roll a mean joint. I like mine long and fairly skinny, slightly cone shaped. Many assume I use the pre roll cones but no, I roll each one as required :passitleft:

High Sue :hugs:  :hugs:

^ Yup Ditchweed. A little fat, but that looks a lot like a 75 mph rolled joint. Nice and even, twist the ends down tight, attach the roach clip and light 'er up! Whee~! We be cruisin'. :slide:

In over 250,000 miles of long highway trips, stoned the entire time, we never had an accident or a violation other than a few speeding tickets. I'd set the cruise at 9 mph over, and 14 hours later, we'd pull off the road the first day - 8 hours the second day. It's SO odd to look back at all the years of being under the influence of THC, and not find more evidence of damage. They keep saying it's a bad thing, and I keeping waiting for it. So far, I'm still waiting. I started smoking the herb in 1968, I started smoking it every evening in 1975, and I've been smoking it all day for years now. I also smoke 15 non filtered cigarettes a day, so I imagine I'll develop some sort of lung disease before I die and that'll confirm how bad cannabis is. In the meantime I'm not so sure the THC isn't helping with the tars. Whatever. No habitual pot smoker I know is having any particular health problems from it. It's only been 48 years for me so ... I'm still waiting.

Huh, that was quite the train of thought, wasn't it? Maybe a walk with the dog is in order. :hmmm: It's cold and wet, but that's kinda nice too, sometimes.

:Namaste:

Wow graytail, I feel so young :slide: born in 78. I tend not to drive high, which is probably why I have wrecked so many cars. I like to walk and get myself a little bit lost in the countryside, find a nice tree to sit under and roll up a joint. They don't look like the pic when I'm rolling outside but when at home, each one looks just like the last.

I do prefer my new glass bong tho.

On Sanjay Gupta's show, they said that driving under the influence of THC is far different from alcohol. Drivers quickly adapt to THC. Experienced smoker/drivers were no less able than non-users. :thedoubletake: That startled me, but it's certainly been my experience.

And I agree that out in nature is one the best places to hang out with a good buzz. :thumb: I like to take a long path to the river with my dog, where there's a nice rock to sit on and absorb the aura, so to speak. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Ive never been pulled over for bad driving due to being stoned only been pulled over for like a couple tail lights being out and thats about it. I suppose maybe somebody new to cannabis might have some trouble with it.

Splendid conversation gentleman. :laughtwo: Mr Am4zin..... :bravo:

I'll have to track down some zig zags. Let's see what I can do with this though. Ditchweed has me hankering to learn to roll a pretty and fat one.

Graytail, I forgot to say you're a madman. :laughtwo:

This worked out real nice. Obviously, I'm better at this than I thought I was. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Then I rolled up the rest of it.

Now I'll smoke the smaller one and save the fatty for tomorrow. :battingeyelashes:

Threw on some upbeat jazz, fired up the virtual fireplace. The ambiance is set. Let's go. :battingeyelashes:
