The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

I envy you Shawnee. I've been living in my home for 30 years now, and it's not in the right part of the country for indoor cultivation. Quite the dissonance. If I'd had the foresight to settle in a place where growing quality cannabis was a retirement option, I'd be in heaven already. :cheesygrinsmiley:

But I've also been living long enough to know that the future can take odd twists, so ... who knows. All I'd want is a small boutique business with maybe 10 clients - that'd do it for me.

That'd do it for me too, if that many. I'm hoping to find a way to grow to my heart's content and offer it at cost. Or give it away. There's no lack of veterans needing some, that's for sure, and that's only one subset of our incredibly diverse citizenry.

Just let me grow and harvest and grow some more. This passion caught me off guard. The idea that I have possibly 30 more years to play with cannabis in dirt pleases me greatly. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I just finished the most incredible Callanetics session. I feel a little like a sexy, saucy superwoman. :laughtwo: Let me get over to my Callanetics thread and post this.

Carry on. :hugs:

Ready for inspection Duggan, you generous man. I really appreciate you riding shotgun. :hugs:

I dunno nuthing about canopy management but the looks like what is described as graaaate.

A Question for those that know. The 420mag sponsors. Does it help the mag to navigate to the sponsors site from one of the banners or links here at the mag versus going to a site on our own?
I wonder cause I try to navigate from the 420mag and I wonder if I am wasting my effort. I just want to help if I can show the sponsors where there bizness comes from. Or is this not talked about. Don't want to tread on toes. TOES! :ciao:

I did a double-take on your shelving unit AKA "tent"! This is exactly what I do. You even use the same kind of clothespins I do for the front panel! LOL! And I also keep the top shelf open to dissipate heat.

I second this!

I like your new area for bonzai mums and your plants are looking as lovely as ever. :circle-of-love:

:hugs::Love::hugs: Anytime Fuzz. Thank you. The clones from Carn 1 are amazing. When I throw them into flower it's gonna be stellar. A whole shelf of Carnival budscicles!! :yahoo: I can see this will be a regular event. :laughtwo:

Good morning Sue :hugs::Love:

Looking good. :bravo::goodjob::Love:

Thank you Jim. Big praise coming from one as talented as you, my magical friend. :hugs:

Those soft tie and Velcro restraints make this jod so easy it's almost sinful. Lol!

If I'm going to a sponsor's page I always go from the link for :420: I assume they track those things, and I want them to know that their dollars were well-invested here.

Great minds AKgramma. :laughtwo: It was probably seeing yours that started the obsessive focus that ended in the shelf being set up in the first place. See the influence you have? Thanks for the subliminal inspiration. Lol!

I pulled them all down to get an idea of where we were. At this point I've probably smoked an additional gram, possibly two.

Not bad. Not bad at all. Looks like I may hit an ounce after all.

I'll keep these two small buds for today. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Such beautiful buds.

Ok, I'm gonna smoke some now. :battingeyelashes:

I found an interesting article on helping someone with PTSD that I added to the article I'd posted that was associated with the class I took last week.

Helping Someone With PTSD

Daily Update: Saturday, October 22, 2016

Good evening everyone. Let's see what's afoot today, shall we? Starting off in the auto tent......

Early Miss (Day 39)

IMG_019842.JPG

IMG_019952.JPG

She still has about three weeks to go, but all this stress they went through seems to have accelerated things a bit. I think the change to red hairs we see is a reflection of having endured the IPM on Steriods. She's pumping out new white ones fast and furious. She reminds me of the Fantasmo Express I grew last year. Next time I may let the plant go natural to see what they look like untrained.

Dark Devil Auto 3 (Day 60) Breeder says 65 days. She's coming down in the morning. She's quickly going amber on me, and I don't care for amber, so down she comes.

In her place will be a Crop King Seeds Train Wreck Auto. Just waking up. :battingeyelashes:

IMG_020660.JPG

Since the DDA3 is being harvested in the morning I went ahead and dropped her into her new home. With autos you want them in the soil before any roots exit the Rapid Rooters. I watered her in real nice.

Looking in on the clones. I decided against raising the shelf. I'll LST the tall ones instead. Probably tomorrow.

Cuttings get checked tomorrow.

On to DDA4. (Day 60)

IMG_021455.JPG

Hehe! Look at her starting to bulk up. :slide:

IMG_021553.JPG

Shes showing bolder coloration every day too. :woohoo: Lol! This grow has been so much fun. :cheesygrinsmiley:

One last shot of DDA3.

IMG_0222.PNG

Suddenly I have a lot going on, don't I? :laughtwo: Feels like I blinked and the grow expanded exponentially. Lol! I have to admit, it took me a while to get to cloning, but I can see potential here for some interesting adventures. The next time I grow a photo CBD strain I'll do the same thing. For a good while though, it's gonna be Carnival in that big tent. Get those stocks built up and a steady stream of clones going.

This is what you were all waiting for me to discover, wasn't it? :battingeyelashes:

Ahhh..... Everything necessary is out of the way now and the Saturday evening is all mine. Geez, it gets lonely here on these nights when the sun's down by 5:30. I'll have to entertain myself roaming the yards.

At 3:06 PM I left the post about the DDA2 buds, and then I stumbled onto that article on PTSD and got so lost in formatting that I never got to it. I just realized what time it was. Lol! Let me get to it now. :blunt:

I'll catch up with you all in just a bit. Maybe I can whittle that subscription list down to something manageable. :laughtwo: Tead's been teasing me with his ability to clear his list, but we all know me. I can't wander without conversation, so every time I get out there I generate more responses than I cleared. Lol! You guys are so tolerant of the way I let myself get blissfully overextended. I appreciate your understanding.

On to the buzz!!

:ciao:

So I'm off starting a new class I just purchased, "How Cannabis Works In Your Body" taught by the highly respected Michael Backes, and he's relating some other ways your ECS is enhanced that aren't related to cannabis.

It used to be thought that the "runner's high" was the release of endorphins. We were all taught that, weren't we? It was fact. Scientific fact. :laughtwo:

Nope, that's not what it is. It's the body's reaction to the degradation and metabolization of endocannabinoids. In layman's terms, runners are high, the same way most of you are right now. :laughtwo: Are we gonna outlaw running? Good Lord, we can't have people enjoying a buzz now, can we? Lol!

Ok, back to my class. This is a good one. It's gonna take me a while to get it all down, but it'll be worth the wait. I promise not to take too long. It's too important.

Shawnee, if you're out there scanning and see this, check your messages. :battingeyelashes:

55 minutes into this class, in the middle of the Q&A section, this intelligent man becomes vehement about being suspicious about fist-sized indoor nugs, because that means they were most likely grown using growth hormones.

Let me say that again.... He believes - he stated outright - that fist-sized nugs aren't typically grown indoors. Maybe one cola on a plant, but not across a plant.

I'm going back to watch the rest of this class, which is the best they've offered so far, in my opinion. While I'm gone would anyone like to find me a picture or two of those impossible colas the size of someone's forearm? I believe there may have been a few grown around these parts. :battingeyelashes:
