The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Carnival! Just like the cruise line! Man, I'm so high off this stuff.

:hugs::hugs::hugs:

:yahoo: :slide:  :slide:

There you go, my favorite Noob. Now you understand the attraction, don't you? There's no crash with Carnival. Enjoy the ride Baby.

Yowsa! What's fer lunch baby? Had me some skirt steak tacos with guac.

Sounds yummy Tead. I'm a big guacamole fan myself. I keep individual portions in the fridge for snacking. It's really delicious with eggs. My favorite topping for an omelet.

I had chicken and broccoli Alfredo with salad bar. I load up on the salad while they cook the entrée, then box up most of the main course to bring home for a later dinner. Two meals for the price of one and I didn't have to prepare either one, other than fix my salad. I get to load up on quality fruits and veggies without the concern of them going bad in my refrigerator because I'm too lazy to cook consistently. Win/win. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Clone Adventures: Round Two

It just makes me chortle with glee that lembatoast's plastic produce bag method of cloning has proven to be so successful. :laughtwo:

Three out of four have roots showing.

Easiest method ever. Thank you TOAST!! :kisstwo:

I'll leave them alone another three days and let those roots get better established. Then it's time to pot them out. The last one to root is actually the prettiest of them all.

Daily Update: Sunday, October 23, 2016

Good evening everyone. I almost made it under the wire. :laughtwo:

Let's take that stroll, shall we? Starting at the Auto tent. No drenches for anyone today.

Train Wreck (Day 2) The white on the leaves is powdered myco.

Early Miss (Day 40) I have her scheduled to come down in two weeks and it looks like she's gonna be right on time.

IMG_026958.JPG

Her leaves are beginning to change.

Around the corner and into the tiny closet.

Dark Devil Auto 4 (Day 61) Scheduled to be harvested a week after the Early Miss on Nov. 14.

One last stop at the clone station. I'll be adding another shelf to this at some point. A way station for vegging under the CFLs while the clones are flowering out under the smaller Mars-Hydro panels. I just realized that'll mean I'll potentially have the space to run a pheno hunt. Hahaha! That'll get Shiggity all excited.

Instead of raising the shelf I instead tied down the apical tip of #3 (Day 13).

And the rest of the potted clones.

I found another fan. It's the wrong time of the year to be looking for a fan. I lucked out with these.

I'm working on a plan to get all four spaces on some form of perpetual schedule. It's a lot more to coordinate. I seem drawn to complication, don't I? Lol! I think it's the challenge of getting it all pinned down. I'm learning skills I plan to put to better use when I relocate and start growing more, under better conditions. I'm really enjoying the clones. I spent most of the day blasted working out plans for the clones. I'm addicted already. Lol!

That's the nickel tour for today. Right past the timeline. :laughtwo: I'm ready to hit this DDA that's been staring at me for the better part of the past hour. I'll be seeing you around the yards for a while. Pretty tired this evening, so I may just turn in. It's been a pleasure guys.

:Namaste:

Goodnight moon.

Sue, about how long are the clones taking to root in the plastic bags?

All the ladies look as lovely as ever. :dreamy:

They're taking about nine days to show roots. I open them every three days, and this is the second time they've shown by day nine. The first run I had one root in six days. TOAST tells me his usually root within a week.

I don't sweat any sort of actual schedule. I try to keep the veg tent full. This keeps the flower tent full. Just kinda flows.

Thank you. This is good advice that Graytail once shared with me too. Great minds......... :kisstwo:

I used this method and they have taken from 6-12 days under 11/13 lighting. All 6 still looked like fresh cuttings when I planted them. Not a bit of wilt or discoloration. Toast's method kicks ass.

Daily Update: Carnival #2, Day 89 (Flip + 9)

Looking in on her I knew it was tim mor her next drench. This one's a Transplant, 7ml of Transplant and 0.7 ml of Tea in 2.5 gallons of good water. She took all but 12 oz, which I have sitting aside. I'll give her that before lights out. Before the drench I gave her the Recharge topping, minus the soil. I wasn't thinking clearly the day I added amendment to both bins of soil, and they still need two more weeks to cook. This fact didn't occur to me before the recharge was already applied. In two weeks I'll top her off with some fresh soil and it'll be like a shot in the arm right before she gets to the CATs. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I borrowed a trick from arteekay and used the soft tie to hoist a smaller branch up closer to the level top.

There she is Duggan. I'll be back later. The daughter needs orange sherbet, poor kid. It's a good day for a walk. Later guys. :ciao:

Daily Update: Monday, October 24, 2016

Good evening everyone.

Time for our daily stroll. Things are a little quieter around these parts following two harvests. In the auto tent we only have two current occupants.

Last, but not least, the clones. I started bending them over. They have to be trained to stay low anyhow. Might as well start here.

The Northern Lights Auto isn't showing any signs of popping, so I pulled her out, stuck her in a paper towel inside a ziplock bag and dropped her into the dark box. I'll check on her tomorrow.

That's everybody, or at least I think so. I left the second batch of clones out of today's because they're just little bags on the floor, but all the others are accounted for. The garden got a bit larger, didn't it? :laughtwo:

Ok people, I have a bong waiting with some fresh Dark Devil Auto to enjoy in it. I'll catch up to you all later.
