Yeah..... I'm big on that instant gratification, as evidenced by the fact that I'm smoking freshly-harvested goodies. :laughtwo:

Thought i would chim in with an idea based on your "lack of space for hempys" lol um anyways ya my flowering space is pretty little its 25 inches in length 14 inches wide and denpending on what height i hang the light its roughly 28 inches tall so its fairly small anyways more to the point, i found journal on here before i even joined the site and it's basically a bigger version of what i wanna do. I only bring it up because it seems to be an efficient use of space, after all space is all about perception. Anyways im sure your busy reading a bunch of other stuff however all i ask is you glance through who knows maybe it will give you some ideas.

I have never seen anything like the Dark Devil you have. I think you should get nug of the month or some award for that. Thick, frosty and the darkest buds I've ever seen. Very exotic. Can't wait to hear how she smells and taste after some cure.

:circle-of-love:

Thank you for the vote of confidence GG. :hugs:  I'll admit, when I was washing her I was thinking that somewhere in this beauty might be a potential winner of that contest. I'll have to jar it up with an eye for the candidate.

I've never seen anything this dark. I've seen pictures in the seed catalogues, but not out here in the real world. I'm blown away. I keep stopping to look at them and they seem to get darker as I'm staring at them. :laughtwo:

I still have a hard time believing that I screwed up the nutes that badly and ended up with arguably the most beautiful plant I've grown. Lol! I'll probably never be able to duplicate these results.

I often wonder if the additional stress of a less than perfect grow doesn't produce different, potentially "better" cannabinoids. Difficult for the home grower to test to a scientific standard I'd think, but interesting to consider. Or at least that's what I tell myself when I phucker one up a bit.

Her terpene expression is off the charts too. Unbelievable scent. I can't wait to taste the flavor. If color and smell are any indication of potency in this strain, I may have disproved the idea that LOS plants are superior in quality over bottled nutes. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

I think this is what they call lobbing a grenade. :)

We've been bottled nutes for our first 11 months, so far so good, and we've yet to have any bug problems.

Must be nice gettin that prize pack from SNS....Canadian contest winners will no longer receive prizes from MB2, SNS, or Vapor Bros. Cuz we're just sooo far away!!!!!!!! Bahhhh! :(

Really eh? In February I got the MB2 but not the SNS prize packages (and SNS didn't reply when I asked if it could be sent to someone in the US instead, then I failed to follow up so I can't really fault them too much). When the Vapor Bros package was added I was a bit bummed, but I guess I should be happy I at least got the MB2.

SNS's reason wasn't about distance though, they said our Government won't let them ship here anymore.

A sample of the bottom of a cannabis leaf about 3 mm wide. Two types of defensive cell structures are clearly visible: the tall needlelike trichomes and the short ball like glandular trichomes that are the source of the highest levels of THC. The high density of trichomes on modern cannabis leaves should make them a good source of THC. This is a false color SEM image with false color looking from the central rib on the bottom of a leaf towards the edge of the blade.

Think of it, the highest levels of THC are found on the leaves. Ted Kinsman doesn't say, but I'd bet it's those sugar leaves Doc's been pushing for years.

I hate to say it, but I didn't read it as saying that the glandular trichomes specifically on the leaves are the highest, just that the glandular trichome form of defensive cell structure has that property, and modern Cannabis leaves have higher densities of trichomes that include the glandular form, so they are likely a better source of THC than they have been in the past because of that.

The higher densities aren't just on the leaves though, and we're not really told what type of leaf this is or where on the bud it came from, at what age, etc.

Good to have you around again arteekay. :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

On that site there was another great shot of a bud showing the wide diversity of trichomes expressed on a single flower. So cool.

Sue one of your likes today was my original basement floor post from Arteekays first thread. It gave me a
Nice travel back though time to go read that thread over again. Our rtk has really spread his wings! Hi rtk!!

Yes he has, and it was such a delight to wander down that path again to once again witness that transformative moment. You never know the effect you'll have on another as you meander through life. This is why I encourage joy at every turn. You made such a difference in their lives with that single post. You could hear arteekay wake up and get damned serious about it. Now they're setting the standard and having the time of their lives doing it.

I love this site. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I was new on the site at the time and you were so welcoming. So was Duggs and the rest of the gang. You guys kept checking in and making sure I was feeling welcome. It pulled me right in to have such cool people visiting my grow. I cherish that still. Sometimes when I make a post I picture you giggling or laughing with joy when you read it. Well it's coming on trichomes time again, and I have two Suns on a mover. My room now looks like a striped watermelon candycane.

Dang, the MB2 now too? Back in May when Teddy told me the SNS stuff wouldn't ship, I scurried out and got the address of an American 420 friend/member, PM'd it to Mr Teddy, and 420 sent my SNS stuff to him. I'm not sure how much extra work it takes for 420 staff to divide the gifts and mail to separate addresses, but I really hope they continue to let us do this so we can give out those non-shippable items as gifts. I give away most of of the rest of the prize package as well but can deal with the other items myself.
Really, if I won a contest again I would like to send those three items (SNS, VB11, and MB2) out to three different members. But that's probably not going to fly with the 420 shipping dept.

My question was answered.... :thanks:

Yes , Rooster , and that's what I did. I gifted out the MB2 , and tried with the SNS but he /she was in Canada too, so that didn't work out very well. I would like to keep gifting things out but dunno how much longer the 420 staff is going to let us do that! Anyhow , have a great day Rooster and gang!

The staff's been really helpful in getting the MBM2 shipped, but I believe it's shipped by the vendors and the staff only inform them of the shipping address change. I took it upon myself to cover shipping costs. I figured the universe would make the funds available and that mindset has served me well so far. It's frustrating, I know, but we can always find creative ways around it. :battingeyelashes:

lexort the link you shared is perfect! He's even using the same nute line I purchased. I should be able to learn everything I need about using those bottles to their best advantage by studying him.

You're a lifesaver. :hugs::hugs::hugs: :kisstwo:

Good morning everyone.

Before I run out to get some groceries let me do Carnival's post. She's at day 86 now, 6 days into her flip.
