The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

image764.png

I've been assisting bamaman with his first indoor grow and he gave me permission to share this photo of one of his outdoor plants that got seriously stunted at an early stage by rediculously high temperatures. His plants did something I've not witnessed before, in that they stopped growing when temps passed 90 degrees F and then resumed growing about two weeks later when the temps dropped. This specimen of Crop King Seeds Early Miss, with the quarter next to it for scale, is now at week 22. :laughtwo: He says it's frosty as hell and smells to high heaven. I think this speaks well to the viability of Crop King Seeds, don't you?

I told him he should enter it into POTM as the longest living auto we've ever seen. Lol!

We figure it'll be worth a single buzz session. Lol!

Hi SweetSue :hugs:
I remember bamaman saying something about that wood barrel to grow in:) It is so cute !
It might be seriously stunned..but I am sure it will be super smoke ( or capsules/creme)!!
Way to go bamaman!!:cheertwo:

Hello Sue, your garden is looking mighty fine! Glad to see you have some produce coming soon. Just stopped by to say high! Good news, my cancer patient is getting great news from his doc. He is completely off chemo now and just using my oil. He was on about 350 mg dose a day and that stopped all progression of the cancer. We are going to work up to double that dose and see about ridding him completely. His cancer is very aggressive and the doc is amazed at the results he is seeing. You can feel real good about this because you walked me through this whole process.......so thank you again and he thanks you! BTW that still is fantastic! Have a great day Sue!

I've often considered my outdoor garden as a bit of a thermometer. Different plants in the garden do different things at various temps.
For example, right now with the highs only getting to the upper 80's, all the cilantro seeds from the spring grow are sprouting and the strawberries have started growing again.

I kept hearing large thumps falling from the oaks so I went out there and was amazed at the size of the acorns. They are huge. :thedoubletake:

HARVEST: Dark Devil Auto - Hempy Version

Good morning everyone. Up all night. *yawn* I have a hard time winding down the night before a harvest.

My first time catching the drop as a stream. Cool. :laughtwo:

These colas are so purple they look black. Any pictures that show lighter purple are illusionary. These buds are almost pitch black. I've never seen color like this.

I neglected to weigh her before washing, as I'm prone to do. I'll do a quick weight later on after some of the water's evaporated.

Alright guys. I need to sleep a bit. I'll catch up with you all later.

Thank you Tead. :hugs:

:tokin: Seeing you harvest your first hempy just made my day! Beautiful buds the color is a wonderful sight to behold! Can't wait for a smoke report to see your opinion of the difference. :tokin:

Thanks lexort. I was soooo happy to have made your day too. I'll definately have to explore this further after I have a little more growing experience behind me, because this was extraordinary. :laughtwo:

While I was out there taking my CBD capsules I tossed her on the scale for a wet weight. She came in at 149 grams, so figuring 20% she's gonna come in right around an ounce. :woohoo:

:laughtwo: Awww Jim, isn't it exciting? Have you ever seen such rich color? I have no idea how I made this happen. Lol!

An ounce on your first hempy is damn fine work id say! I just had a harvest of some sour diesel dry weight was 37 grams i was pretty proud considering its my biggest harvest off one plant. Im super glad you enjoyed the hempy method, if i may be so bold as to suggest you give a photo strain a go next time :tokin: im mighty glad that you didn't run into too much trouble for your first go round (aside from the stall in the beginning). The wife and i are truly blown away by the color of those buds we have never seen bud like that ever lol.

I was just out there and I still can't believe the rich color this one got. I cleaned her roots too. I may try the pain balm we were talking about a while back. That was easier to do than I thought it would be.

I still have a hard time believing that I screwed up the nutes that badly and ended up with arguably the most beautiful plant I've grown. Lol! I'll probably never be able to duplicate these results.

Her terpene expression is off the charts too. Unbelievable scent. I can't wait to taste the flavor. If color and smell are any indication of potency in this strain, I may have disproved the idea that LOS plants are superior in quality over bottled nutes. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

It's called persistence.

First time doing anything hydro related... ph... nutes... the whole shebang. Hat's off. Blows me away. And an auto to boot!

But the real question lingers like an elephant in the room.... would that change your growing style?

Don't you dare! After all the money I spent on switching to this organic soil thing, I hereby declare it the best. No arguments. Nope. Shhhh. :blalol: :laughtwo:
