Thanks. My wife is an awesome photographer!!! That one was from Sunset Beach on Cape May, NJ. She has some other shots of girls on paddle boards in the sunset. Right after she took the shots, a pod of dolphins started swimming around them. VERY COOL!!!

Good morning my favorite Sue. I love coming get over here to see whatever might be on your page. It always brings a smile on my face. I don't bother trying to catch up on your journal anymore, I just go back to the beginning of the day. Nobody has that much time to read 20 pages. That's how much I would have to go back.

Yes Sue it was lots of fun! I need to read up some more and see how to get a journal going. I'm not the quickest typist.
No wonder....

It's possible to do a grow journal and only update once a week. It's the chosen method of Journalling, to be honest. Not everyone has my manic drive to document daily. Go to grow journals and read the sticky on starting a journal. The members love a new journal.

Daily Update: Monday, August 22, 2016

Good evening everyone. It's been a wonderful, picture-perfect Summer's day here in The Burgh. I hope your day went as nicely as mine. That would mean you're smiling right now remembering all the sparkly moments.

I started the morning watching Pigeon's latest video on planting seeds and remembered I had two Dark Devil Auto seeds that needed done.

They're in the auto tent.

So let's take a stroll, shall we? Starting off in the auto tent, of course. You open the tent flap and the berry sweetness of the Dark Devil Auto smacks you in the face.

Dark Devil Auto (Day 63) I'm thinking she's gonna be another two weeks. Does she look done to you? Me neither. Sure is a pretty little darlin'.

Dark Devil 2 (Day 9) She's not taking off yet, but she shows a lot of presence.

In the kit tent, the Carnivals are now at Day 27.

Carnival #1

Carnival #2 She's beginning to explode in growth. This has been the most vigorous of the two from the start.

The Med GOM 10 (Day 65)

I'm thinking another week, maybe a Sunday harvest.

Are we having a wonderful time spreading joy? Was that a resounding yes I heard? Good.

I'd like to thank you for stopping by to visit. Hopefully I'll get time to wander through the yards a bit this evening. I'm gonna make a cup of tea and unwind a while with the strain of my choice. I'm dealing with an ear infection, but it's unlike any I've ever had. I'm chalking it up to my consumption of five CBD capsules a day. I have some tiredness but that's the only thing I'm feeling really. The ear's swollen, which should mean severe pain and possibly fever. You can see I've been down this road before. I've been hospitalized in the past for them.

That's what makes this all the more surprising. No pain at all and no fever. I won't take antibiotics, and cannabis will take care of that anyway. I'm just surprised, and pleasantly so, to discover that cannabis may well be the most effective medication I've ever used to treat an ear infection. My only challenges are the hearing loss because it's swollen almost completely shut and the fatigue. The tendency of the human body is to heal, and eventually mine will do just that. I'll start drinking more water right now. Haha! Almost picked up the bong instead!!!

Three washes, lined up from left to right. Some keep the first two separate from the last, assuming they're that far superior in quality. While there is a difference in quality, I don't believe it's significant enough to keep me from combining them. Tim and cajuncelt had theirs tested once and I accept their findings.

Altogether a full 2 1/2 cups of golden loveliness.

Isn't it pretty? Makes my heart beat faster. It all goes into the freezer overnight for one more filtering, if necessary, before evaporating. I think I cleared almost all of the particulate matter out. This is my best wash yet. I'm so freaking excited you wouldn't believe it. Lol!

I drained the tiny drops of alcohol and cannabinoids that always collect in the bottom of each jar into my tea. This should be interesting, eh?

Alright, time for some relaxation time.

Thank you Shiggity. It is the most beautiful color. It looks like I might get a decent oil pull out of this batch. I certainly hope so. I need capsules to get me through until I harvest the Carnivals. If I run out of everything else but still have capsules I'll be fine. This was most of what I have left except the indica, which doesn't excite me at all. I'm heartened that this will do me. Won't know until I evaporate the solvent off.

After my vacation a rosin press goes at the top of my must-have list. By next summer I'll be solventless. Thank you for the passion to get us all to change over. You get us all pressing our concentrates and I'll get us all using capsules.

It's a deal. I was looking at the Harlitsu over at your journal today thinking I need to purchase a couple seeds and run one ASAP. I've a friend whose pain level is off the charts and I'm thinking we need to go this way next. I'm going to try capsules with the 2:1 Med GOM and hope for the best, but he has some particular pain issues that might require that higher ratio.

I'm going to be very interested in the resin press and solventless method of making oil. So far have not been very successful using a solvent. Been trying all day to get the Bicardi 151 to evaporate and hasn't budged a milliliter. I set the open jar into a 140 F water bath, (twice) but I see no evaporation whatsoever.

I have had luck using something wide and a fan. You should be ok with a higher temperature, especially with a fan. Just don't run out of water. I think alcohol boils at around 160, I could be wrong.
