Your wash looks great! Excited to see how much oil you will pull.
I found another zip of indica I forgot I had. Decarbed it yesterday and its been in the freezer over night. Will wash today and turn it into some night time biobombs.

On Thursday at 5PM, PST (8PM EST) Greenflower Media is offering a free live streaming class on Treating Sick Kids With Cannabis. This is an hour long class with their host Max Simon and Tracy Ryan, CEO of Cannakids. That's all I know about her right now, but this is a class worth a watch IMHO. They stream these free and then sell the DVD for a minimal price.

A very warm and joyful good morning to ya SS ...and all our friends near by! My attention and attraction had nothing to do with a kit though, it was Sue and her threads.
Who doesn't love a beautiful woman with a soul of gold and a perpetual jar full of weed?
I married one over 30 years ago (not Sue though), so how lucky am I?
I'm surprised they haven't hired you yet Sue. But kidding aside, the cream always rises to the top. Here's to hoping Sue doesn't tire of this calling too quickly.

You can combine all three washes. There should be no difference in the quality, per se, but that third wash will have very low PPM's of THC. It's likely that you got close to 95% of the THC in the first two washes, which is why Rick Simpson doesn't bother with the third wash.
Also, I'm interested in the distiller and have been thinking of getting one so I'm curious as to why you thought it would not work for small batches.
Is there some "minimum fill level" like there is with the Magical Butter machine?
I would think that with the distiller, you can always put in more alcohol, if necessary since you're just going to evaporate it off and re-collect it in the end anyways. You should be able to do even small batches in the distiller this way, although, they may take a long time to evaporate if you do have some minimum amount of alcohol you need to start with.
Would you advise against a distiller???

I was very pleased with the distiller K. My concerns was with a minimal amount left behind to keep from burning the oil. Next time I use it I'll try to determine what I think that minimal amount might be. This machine would be invaluable for reclaiming the solvent. I reclaimed 1 1/4 cups of the original 2 1/2 cups of wash. I'd have recovered more but I chickened out - I mean I erred on the side of caution.
There's no minimum fill level.

Well, I made it. Missed the midnight deadline, but that's self-imposed. Let's take a peek into the grow spaces, see what the charges are up to. Let's start with the kit tent tonight. The Carnivals are now Day 28.
Carnival #1 She exploded overnight! Shocking change from one day to the next.

Into the auto tent. The smell..... Sweet berry with a tinge of fuel. This ones more berry than many others.
Dark Devil Auto (Day 64)
Dark Devil Auto 2 (Day 10) Incremental change. Any time now this one can take off.
Still waiting.

Whew!! Long and delightfully euphoric day, but it can take a lot out of you to run that high octane. I hit a point where I put the iPhone down after loading a picture into the gallery, took my glasses off, stretched out on the floor and went right to sleep like a child. Let me catch up here.
Yes I have noticed Duggan. I'm sure the plants have a draw all their own, but I think it may be more the sparkling company one finds in this room no matter when you stop by.
Your Mighty Midget is a beast! Have you tested the Med GOM 1.0 yet? Mine has the most amazing aroma. I had the windows closed earlier and she was making me crazy smelling so good. I'm at day 66 and the trichomes are still mostly clear. She's dragging her feet to get to the end.
My experience - and I know this will surprise you all - was to jump right into the waters and set up shop. I honestly thought this would be an interesting way to track my first grow. Hahaha! Well, I was right, wasn't I?

What kind of ventilation do you have in your tents? Those temps are high. You must be rocking some big ass led lights in there. Plants look good though so that's all that matters.

Sue: Had to share with you, since you make meds. I finally had success at making oil!
I used my small crockpot to evaporate down my Bicardi-bud tincture. On low, the crockpot heats up to 150F, and the alcohol evaporates very quickly.
My OGK bud powder must be VERY good, because I ended up with a LOT of oil, a big ole glob, about a teaspoonful from, 500 ml Bicardi 151 and 1 oz of bud powder. It took me hours to work the goo off the knife tips I was using to scrape the bottom and sides of the crockpot and trying to get it to fall into a very small black glass jar I acquired from somewhere.
I also purchased a Conair temp-adjustable, wide-bladed hair straightener and some parchment paper to try my hand at rosin production. That will have to wait till tomorrow, as it was a very long process to make the oil. I am really excited about pressing my very sticky BBL buds! I have to try tomorrow, not later, because the buds are drying in the paper bags, and they are supposed to have a bit of moisture in them for best extraction.
I guess I can dose the hash with a toothpick, rubbing it on the gums. For now, just licking my fingers of stray hash should give me an idea what to expect.

I'm starting to get really excited about the number of members trying oil out. Graytail???? Don't you think it's about time to convert some of that prodigious stash into some capsules? You don't want to be the last to try when you're sitting on the sweetest buds.
Sorry Graytail, I just got all excited there. Lol! AKgramma, I'd certainly appreciate it if you'd post this over at the study hall. ShiggityFlip has a thread on rosin pressing I'd check out before you try the hair straightener. They have some interesting pointers on the first couple pages. There's a link in his signature and he left a post at the study hall this evening, so you won't have to look far.
Hahaha! I say "this evening" and it's four in the morning. I don't have my days and nights confused at all, do I folks? Lol! I'm still high from the oil I licked up yesterday afternoon. Those capsules are going to be wicked.
My last chore before bed - replenishing the CBD capsules. Didn't spill a drop.

With your Dark Devil's, and Jim talking about his Pineapple I ordered 3 of each autos yesterday. As of now my jars are empty, still have many weeks to go on my WW so I wait and wait and wait.....
