Daily Update: Wednesday, August 3, 2016
Time to get this posted so I can get to the walking club. Having a social life, limited though it may be right now, is downright fun.
So, let's start with a quick peek into the auto tent.
Still crazy hot temp swings. I'm mulling over possibilities, but I think it's going to come down to keeping the air conditioners running longer hours. For now I leave the top flap of the tent open most of the day to let the hot air escape. I just went to check and right now, with the air running in the apartment, this tent is sitting at a steady 79 degrees.
Industrial Plant (Day 16) She got her first taste of increased nutes yesterday evening, so she should begin to show improvement. We're all gonna breathe a sigh of relief when I figure out what I'm doing here, aren't we? I lightly watered her today. It's been brutally hot in there lately.
Dark Devil Auto (Day 44) As pretty as the pictures are, they come nowhere near to catching her true essence. This is a beautiful specimen. Her colors are startling.
Nothing yet.
Next door, in the Kit tent the Carnivals are now 8 days old.
That sad looking one in the back..... Watch her turn out to be the star.
Into the tiny closet, the Med GOM 1.0 (Day 46) is now more than halfway home.
I have a mystery going on with this plant. She appears to occasionally leak. Three times I've come over in the morning to find puddles on her leaves. The viscosity is more liquid than you'd think sap would be and smell is faintly cannabinoid in nature. At first I thought something was leaking from the light, but that's impossible and there aren't any signs that would suggest this anyway. The way this panel is constructed, even if there were liquid it could leak it wouldn't be doing so in the middle of the panel where there aren't any openings. Next time it happens I'll photograph it. Last time I convinced myself it was rain blowing in from the window. This morning there was a leaf jumper I was more interested in getting out of my closet and in doing so I sopped up the liquid.
The inner colas are beginning to rise up. The plan, she works.
The major colas are beginning to fill out right nicely.
Thats my post for today. I'm so glad you stopped to see the girls. Gotta run. I like to treat myself out to dinner before the walk, and Panera Bread has a bowl of delicious Summer Corn Chowder with my name on it. I'll catch up to you all later.
Thanks for visiting.
