The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

I have already benefited from a lifetime of personal responsible use, albeit all recreational in nature. Alcohol would have been my demise, many in my family have struggled with alcoholism, so I avoided that problem by using cannabis exclusively for recreational purposes. Most ex-coworkers and casual friends wouldn't think I am a lifelong "stoner", but that is exactly what I am! I'm not ashamed of it, although in my youth, it was a stigmatized as a hard drug.

Ya, ditto. It'll be interesting to see what effect cannabis legalization has on domestic abuse calls, for instance. I don' think tokers are big 911 callers.

I believe there's been a drop in domestic abuse calls in the legal states. Go figure. :laughtwo:

Yes Canna, I'm on the mat getting ready to pull up the video right now. Lol!

I'm already starting to think we might have similar retirement ambitions! I have been growing things for quite awhile so perhaps some experience I've encountered might help someone eventually. I certainly don't want to step on an expert toes as there seems to be an abundance of righteous growers on this site. How and why you (and many others) are helping people learn how to heal and treat with MM is just amazing. I think I have read through all of your journals and several others as well, start to finish. I didn't join as a member until after I had a good feeling about the site and its overall mission.

I do have a few years of experience assisting mother nature propagate and grow plants, and I do hope I can eventually help someone on 420Magazine in some capacity. The medicinal uses of Cannabis is where my renewed interest lies regarding this wonderful gift from the earth. I do have a specific medical agenda in mind for a family member suffering from a fairly rare but debilitating disease. The disease is called neurofibromatosis type 1, a very crappy disease for sure. I hope to help them with MM as there is no cure or treatment options. I have learned much about CCO and it's dosing from you, CCOiler, Motoco420, CajunCelt and several others on this forum. Thank you all so very much for the your shared knowledge and experience, it has been a top notch source of information for me.

Mr.Kip beat me to it :) Excellent links .. I was just reading up on the illness and saw that usually it is treated on symptoms and not to fight the illness?! It is based on a defect in cells so this is just what he needs

Daily Uodate: Tuesday, August 2, 2016

Let me get the update done and then respond to posts. See if I can beat the clock for 2 AM. :laughtwo: Callanetics was unbelievably empowering. :cheesygrinsmiley: it's hard to believe I fight them so hard.

On to the garden. Starting in the auto tent.

Industrial Plant (Day 7) A week old today. And she hasn't died. :yahoo:

I doubled her nute strength to 1/2 tsp per gallon. Let's see how she responds. :battingeyelashes:

Still waiting.

I opened up a floor-level vent on the auto tent and shot some cooler air from the floor into there, turned up the vent fan just a tad and watched temps drop right down to 81 degrees F. :slide:

Meanwhile, back in the tiny closet the Med GOM 1.0. is beginning to beef up. No verticle movement from the center buds yet. This may be all the taller any of her gets. I'm learning that many of the heavy CBD strains are challenging to grow.

Pistils are beginning to change over.

Sorry to be so late with this one guys. I got a whole bunch of other stuff done, and now I may just go to bed, because tonight Callanetics wore me out.

Thanks for stopping. I'll catch your joyful selves tomorrow. :green_heart: 4

So I'm reviewing the update and I'm looking at the picture of the seed yet to sprout and there, off to the side of where that seed was supposed to be planted.......

image15351.jpeg

.....lies the seed. One of the basic rules of germination is to be sure you actually planted the seed. :laughtwo: I went in and took care of it. She may take a few more days to sprout. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Very nice Sue. I see your bouncing back quickly and doing well. DD looks great, I know those purple flowers are hard to grow big.

Cheers

THey look beautiful as ever and yes ..lol usually seed goes under the soil lol
Could have been stuck on your finger while covering with soil ( where you thought seed was)
Have a good night .. my day has just begun..
:circle-of-love: to your babies and ladies

Good grief K, you take my breath away. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

My guess is lucky light height and a good wind. Other than that...

Wind. Hmmmm..... You're also smart enough to plant the seed all by itself so you can more easily accommodate the light distance. I keep complicating the matter by doing things like planting a seed right next to an established plant, so there's no reasonable way to get the distance from the light panel optimized.

But im not paying much attention to wind either. Good, something to improve on.

There are so many things conventional medicine can't touch or heal that an herbal choice will. Make those herbal meds from cannabis and you're really getting serious about healing.

THANK YOU so very much Mr. Krip! I now have my reading agenda set for tonight. Very appreciated. This place is soooo unique, thank God I found it (or it found me). I've going to make a donation to this website right now, it is a resource like no other I've found. I don't really need much in the way of grow stuff, but a few sponsors seed purchases might be helpful to all involved. My seed collection is fairly rounded, but sorely lacking in high CBD strains.

It is awesome. As enamoured as I am with the Dark Devil Auto, if I had to choose one or the other, it'd be Carnival. You have no idea how tickled I am to have two coming along.

I'm glad to hear you'll be growing some good CBD strains. I heard someone recently mention that there's speculation that CBD isn't a cannabinoid at all, but some component we have yet to understand and properly identify. Unlike the other cannabinoids, CBD can initiate multiple cellular functions simultaneously. The more I study, the greater my respect for this component.

This community is really unique. We're determined to help you grow better, live better, laugh more. I like it here. They'll have to throw me over an edge to get me to leave. :laughtwo:
