Industrial Plant (Day 11) She got watered today. I've been giving her at least a light watering every day, and I'll continue to do so until she starts to take off. Any day now girl.

image15171.jpeg

Dark Devil Auto (Day 39) She may be tiny, but she sure is pretty. :battingeyelashes: I topped her SWICK reservoir.

Done! :laughtwo: I can't tell you where the day went guys. I looked up and it was gone. Lol! Oh, that's right, I went out and got my hair cut today and did some shopping, in a happy fog. I learned some important points on manifesting your dreams this week and I hit one out of the park on my first try. Quite a heady experience that called for celebration. After dinner out I didn't get home until after 7. Ok, I feel better about that now. Living an unstructured life means every once in a while you lose a day. Haha! I'll try to get this done first thing tomorrow. I almost passed on it tonight, but I seem incapable of doing that.

Alright, it might be too late for Callanetics too, :laughtwo: so I guess I'll just catch a good buzz on top of the brownie I couldn't resist earlier and do some wandering through the yards. Thanks for swinging through and putting up with me. Lol! Share the joy now, far and wide.

:Namaste:

:laughtwo: Here ya go Canna.

DDA Tincture

:laughtwo: Even the stunted ones grab at the heartstrings, and in the case of the DDA their beauty always buys them the ticket to the end. Lol!

I'd be confident in saying your tolerance levels and med demands are somewhat similar to my own Duggan, and as such you'd likely be as unimpressed with the tincture effect. It's a subtle buzz that I find softens my mental state in a way distinct from other delivery methods.

I'm not often interested in softening my mental state. I'm more interested in a zippier buzz that allows me the cerebral soaring that keeps me in the free-fall mode I need to be in to let my brain skim through the Internet looking for particular gems of knowledge. I think the tincture would be most helpful later in my night, when I need to start winding down, say around 3 AM, or if I'm out with no other way to get cannabinoids into the system.

I get high, and it's even a pleasant high. I'm Looking for more of the speedy sativa effect than they deliver. Having said that, the one I made with the CBD strain is an instant response to calm emotional distress and anxiety as well as being effective for pain modulation. So there is definately a place for them in the cannabis medicine cabinet. I'm still looking for that place in my own.

Daily Update: Saturday, July 30, 2016

I managed to get this done in a timely manner today. :laughtwo: Lets take a look in on the brood, shall we?

The Med GOM 1.0 (Day 42) In the past 24 hours her smell has ramped up significantly. It's a sweet buttery scent that I find fascinating. I don't remember this with the first plant.

image15190.jpeg

I got in there and did some serious leaf-tucking. I also let go of all the restraints. She's running free now. Soon I'll have to get in here and do something about raising the light.

Industrial Plant (Day 12) Still waiting on this one. I'm not enthralled with her color at this point, but I'm withholding my concerns until that taproot gets to the reservoir. I drizzled a bit of water around her and wet the cube real good.

In the Kit tent the Carnival twins are now 4 days old.

Carnival #1

Carnival #2, the more challenged of the two. She had a harder time shedding the shell.

That's my girls today. I won't be dropping another hempy seed until I see something going on with the Industrial Plant. I'm considering starting the next one in a pot that's more shallow than these are and then transplant into the deeper pots as it grows. Still trying to figure this technique out.

Thanks for stopping in. I'm assuming your day's been a series of joyful expressions??? Good, keep that up. I got Callanetics in before midnight. :woohoo: I'm feeling pretty powerful and mighty hungry. I think dinner along the river is called for. I'll catch up to you all later.

One more day to cast your votes in the monthly contests. Add your voice to the crowd. Be an active member and join in the fun and the challenge.

Sue...may i,....Noob, assuming you put in "fresh" trim and popcorn...just let it thaw out and then dry it as normal...all will be good. Then do whatever ya like with it. Cheers bud! :high-five:

You feel free to jump in there and help at any time Duggan. Thanks. :hugs:

Sweetsue,

I have been reading through this site upon the recommendation of a longtime member that I met at a 420 event last year. I am more of the reader-type than a poster when it comes to Internet Forums but I'm trying to change that personalty quirk. Your posts and journals are very impressive, you have shared your life and time with people that need help. How freakin' hard that would be for me! Back pats to you! It seems there are about a few dozen responsible adults that call this place home. Nothing against anyone, but I'm a little too old for teenage slang and bad attitudes so prevalent on most cannabis sites. So far this place seems different and mature, I am glad to have found this resource and group. Thank you for selfishly assisting people with their health and lives. Personally, I don't need much in life to be happy, I have been fortunate and blessed (OK, it's had many major challenges), and life is grand. I have been growing many things since I can remember (my parents owned a nursery), so I won't be bugging anyone for "grow advice"!

Thank You

Whew ... that was more difficult than you might know ... I'm trying!

Keith

Keith, you made my heart skip a beat with all that courage. I'm honored to have inspired you to step outside your comfort zone and say hello. Something tells me you and I are going to become fast friends.

Make yourself comfortable. Join in anytime you want or just sit and relax. If there's anything we can help you with you have only to ask. Welcome to the :420: community. My subscription list runs over 100 threads. I think we have more than a dozen of those stable and mature obsessive cannabis cultivators around here.

Welcome to the family you didn't know you had. Careful, we're addictive. :hugs:

Have you started light nutes on the hempy? Im glad to see it starting to grow!

Yes I have lexort, 1/4 tsp per gallon. I'm hopeful. This takes patience, doesn't it? I'm going to come up with a different container for the next seed, although I've a suspicion that when this one takes off she's going to make good use of all available root space, which means I chose the right container.

I ordered some Rapid Rooters today. That should help some too. Stronger roots when they go into the perlite can't hurt.

Ya it takes a bit of patience at the beginning til the roots hit the res. Is it in the big hempy the last one is in? If so that is probably a contributing factor here. She does look like she is working on growing though so that is hopeful. If you are looking for a nute schedule i suggest going to the general hydroponics site and getting the pdf for the drain to waste schedule, im using it myself but if you do just keep an eye on your girl to be sure its not too hot for her ya might have to adjust the strength but atleast you will have a guideline to work from.
