Smoke Report: CBD Critical Cure, part 2

Well, I took those additional four hits and then got lost in the threads for almost two hours. :laughtwo: So I took another two hits and went to work. The stairs aren't just cleaned, they're detailed. :laughtwo:

This strain was a delightful find. I haven't been this motivated to tackle unsavory domestic work for quite some time. I'm thinking this might be a good time to buy some cheap paper towels and clean all my mirrors.

Yep, the CBD Critical Mass and CBD Critical Cure are definite keepers. I'd say I enjoyed the buzz of the Critical Mass better, but I was more motivated to action with the Critical Cure.

I think I'll switch to the Critical Mass for the evening. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Daily Update: Sunday, July 31, 2016

Good evening everyone. Time for an update. Let's start in the auto tent today.

image15237.jpeg

I missed the best picture of the day with her, reaching for the light so sweet and adorable. :laughtwo: She's hanging in ther and I have to believe she's growing copious roots. I'll be so relieved when I have evidence that she's finally hit the reservoir. Sometimes I feel like I can't breathe, looking at her tiny self. Tomorrow I'll flush out the reservoir. One of those things I need to remember to schedule.

My teeny DDA. Not holding a lot of hope out for yield here. It doesn't look like she's going to get any taller or wider, just thicker. Tonight I'm dropping another seed and plant it in the pot tomorrow.

image15241.jpeg

image15242.jpeg

There's plenty of space to start the next one, right there in the front, where all that clover's getting ready to be thinned. Planting her in the pot with an established plant I won't be able to get the seedling properly spaced from the light, so a CFL array may be necessary to keep her nodes good and tight.

Into the Kit tent. The Carnival twins are at Day 5.

Around the corner and into the tiny closet. The Med GOM 1.0 (Day 43) looks luscious.

image15249.jpeg

I tucked her leaves.......

image15250.jpeg

.......... stepped back and thought about defoliating. I'd been rifling through cajuncelt's Spring Grow thread looking for the pain cream he'd shown us a few months back and found myself rereading some points he'd made about defoliating in flowering and the discussion that followed and that had me thinking about this one.......

so I went ahead and trimmed her up real nice to let light into all the buds.

Sweet! :battingeyelashes: :green_heart: Don't you just love that light?

That's the brood for today guys. Thanks for stopping by. I'm a day behind in the transcription of my meditations, so I have to dash off and get that done, and then I'll be wandering the threads, trying to do some catching up.

Spread the joy now, far and wide. Let's light up our little corner of the universe.

:Namaste:

Hey Sue, Nice job! What size is that Hempy container? It looks pretty big for that little guy! I usually start them in "mini Hempys" which is just a solo cup. They can get pretty big in there and their roots hit the res quickly!

You can easily transplant to a larger hempy later.

This is my plan for the next seed, so thank you so much for sharing the picture here. :hugs: You are such a lifesaver, and incredibly timely. I was just thinking about this not ten minutes ago and thought I remembered you mentioning it once before, probably in your journal, and I was preparing to go look. You saved me the time. :kisstwo:

I have Rapid Rooters coming in tomorrow or Tuesday. That's when I'll start the next one.

I'm so glad you follow me. You've come in handy more than once, or twice or....... this is getting to be habitual. :laughtwo: There's no curtsy emoji. Pretend.

Thank you kind sir. :battingeyelashes:

She'll be planted in the pot tomorrow with the stunted DDA.

I scrutinized each and every leaf that I trimmed off the Med GOM 1.0. No mites or eggs anywhere. :yahoo:

I won't be dropping my guard.

Hmmm. Coincidence. I was thinking tonight as I stared at my hempies, that they had a slow start and should have been sprouted in smaller containers. Out of the six hydro style plants I started at the same time, the two hempies are the smallest ones, and next time I'll do it differently.

There ya go - great minds think alike. We just stay stoned often enough that we take a little longer to get there sometimes. :laughtwo:

Speaking of spider mites I failed to share some of the bad news from my garden with you. After my wife over watered the girls the one who didn't bounce back was the SnowcapLA I aptly named Sweet Sue. I'm pretty sure this all happened around the same time as you shutting down your grow temporarily. Maybe I'm wrong on the dates but I was pretty sure they were close to one another. Anyway I had left her to dry and kept trying to bring her back and things were looking promising until I saw signs of Spider mites. I guess I could expect nothing less from taking her out of that controlled environment to the outdoors. Just thought I'd share that with you.

To leave on a more positive note. It's awesome seeing those lil sprouts. I sure hope you never have to discontinue doing what it is so clearly you love so much! Hope you didn't mind my rambling. Sending lots of love and light to you Sue :) :circle-of-love:

Sounds like a seed to go to my wish list :thanks:

Drive bye. I'm sorry Sue I don't really know what's going on here, I always look at the pictures. So I've got abit to catch up here. Never learned to read, but did see that scary word,,, I don't even want to say the word, knock on wood, but once you get them buggers...Never hurts to give everything you have in veg, the complete regiment of whatever your using for control. Till your 100 % sure they are gone, and everything that came in contact with infected plants has cycled out. Most of the time it's a friends clone that brings them unwelcome guests. I learned long ago always wash new plants as soon as you get them home. twice....I'm not sure if I'm close with this outburst... But a friend just gave me one with more than I bargained for.Good thing I looked close and it was a young outbreak which was easy. I was going to just throw it away, but sounds cool. Blue City Diesiel. The stem looks DJ'ish as in dark purple, and I always wanted to try a NYCD. Sounds pretty good to me,,,, Opp's babbling...

The Blue City Diesel is a unique tasting variety in the Diesel family. It's certainly unique. Favours it's Blueberry heritage in my personal opinion. Decent yielder as well. You'd have found a lot of grow ops in Seattle going back about 18 months had a lot of BCD growing. Look forward to seeing what you do with her mate!

So, been away for a bit... catching up.
What's up with the baby hempy? Any idea why she's not moving? Are you giving her any nutes and at what level? How often are you feeding?

Sorry for all the questions you've probably already spoken about.

Glad you showed up tead ive been curious to see what you think of her hempy girl. I been thinking maybe the res is just super deep but you have more experience with the bigger hempys then me.

Hi Sue , it's time for me to make my CBD butter. I have about 35 grams of buds/trim. How much butter should I use for a medical effect for non cannabis users. My mother and sister are my patients, I don't want to scare them away from the possible benefits to their arthritis. It's 6%thc 6%cbd, please advise...your pm's aren't working or blocked. Thank you Sue

:green_heart:cheers

Keep up the great work! I look forward to see the progress! I found you from HealingKroics old journal.

Happy H, You found us!! You have just won a little lotto .....you've stumbled upon a cool place filled with very good and experienced growers. SS has practical experience with many growing systems , including DBHBB . Members around these parts are better received after they drop off their ego at the front door....from then on , in, your golden. You'll find the membership to be extremely helpful in all aspects of growing and more than willing to share their knowledge with a few laughs and banter along the way. May i suggest visiting some other HB journals and perhaps a couple of Doc Bud's he has going right now. Anyhow , a warm welcome to ya HH! Have an awesome day Gang! :circle-of-love:
