The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Daily Update: Veg Tent, Thursday, June 9, 2016

I did a bit of transplanting. Carnival was really unhappy in that tiny pot.

image13385.jpeg

Carnival got the 7 gallon pot, Bubba Kush got the 2 gallon. It's a bit of an experiment for me. How much can I get out of the Bubba Kush in a smaller pot? I'll have to be more attentive, but I think I can get something decent if I work it right. Recharge more than once, if memory serves me. Thank goodness Dr Ziggy's such a mad scientist. He worked all this out long ago.

Waiting for their Transplant drench.

Since I had to rearrange, I pulled Super Cheese (Day 44) out for pictures too.

Before going back into the tent I did some bending of Carnival's taller branches.

On to the flowering tent.

Along this wall, starting from the left, we have Crossroads (Day 44) with Shiva Shanti ll (Day 37) running along the bottom edge of that green path. To the right is Strawberry Blue (Day 58).

The mystery seed Zamaldelica (Day 24) is coming along nicely. She got a nice TransWater drench. Perked her right up.

Next up, the tiny closet.

All I did was admire her and fill her SWICK reservoirs. I also filled the SWICKs in the flowering tent. It's a daily event now that we're in flowering.

Glad you stopped by today, and I'm glad I got them posted. I keep getting all lost in reading papers and researching and the day gets away from me. I hope to get out wandering tonight, but right now I need a buzz. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

I may just turn in early tonight. Pretty worn out. If so, I'll see you all tomorrow.

:Namaste:

Lots going on here I'd say it's almost a full time job. Veg area looks like it recovered well from its attack. Nice and green, lots of bushy plants. Your mystery plant still looks sad post it's run in with the leaf miners. All in all, beautiful setup, I love stopping by and listening to the topics of the day.

Cheers

I love your use of those shopping bags Sue. I might have already commented on them... :loopy:

Thanks Growlow. It was a bit of an experiment. I'd tested one with the Super Cheese to see how they held up. They only cost $1 each, well worth the price. :laughtwo:

And I like having you stop by millertm. The mystery plant should pick up appreciably when she begins to get regular drenches. Still a nose or two to go.

Hopefully the thrips are gone.

Looking good Sue.

Thanks 36. I'm getting excited. I'll be more excited when something Sativa-dominant comes down. Lol!

I have to make note of this, because I find it astounding. I was having another stressed/depressed afternoon. Came out of nowhere, complete with the flashbacks and emotional storms of yesterday. This time, after curling up in fetal position on my mat in front of the mirrors for half an hour, I decided to try that CBD tincture that was so effective yesterday. What did I have to lose?

Well, apparently I had that morose mood to lose, which I did within five minutes of taking about .5 ml. I'm sitting here reading and realized my attitude'd done a complete shift again. Hmmmmm....... This is obviously something I should be paying attention to. I'm wondering if I'd benefit more from a consistent dosing schedule of a CBD-dominant strain, alternating with my doses of sativa-stimulant strains? Or might I be better to treat the ...... I don't know if I'd characterize it as depression, so much as borderline PTSD. I talked it over with the daughter yesterday and she agrees, it may be more PTSD-oriented than depression, which explains why this strain is so effective. But might I be better off treating this symptomatically?

We're all lab rats in the end, aren't we? :laughtwo: Thank goodness we work with a plant that can't hurt you.

The plants are looking good! Glad the CBD made you feel better almost instantly.

Would you be able to point me in the direction of use of MMJ for cancer? It's for a friend who is not having good success with traditional medicine. He even was part of a study where they injected polio into the tumor, it grew instead of shrinking.

Cajun stopped giving advice on his cancer protocol thread just this week, and he's been referring people to me at the study hall. The link's at the bottom of my signature line. Stop by there and post the particulars and someone will jump in and help. I'm getting ready to start Callanetics right now, so I won't be there for a couple hours, but I assure you I will be there today and you will get some kind of answer.

The information in his cancer protocol thread is invaluable. I'd take the time to read through that one too.

A Base Treatment Regimen for Cancer

Also, there's a link to the cannabis dosing thread. You might want to read through that information. You may find some immediate answers there. The study hall is strongly geared to CCO for cancer. We'll work it out with you. There's always a way.

Daily UpDate: Friday, June 10, 2016

Whew! The day kinda got away from me. Lost three hours to a late evening nap. :laughtwo: The benefits of an unstructured life. I spent the entire day convinced it was Saturday. I just realized that. :laughtwo:

Nothing of note in the garden today. Just busy maturing. Let's have a look see, shall we?

Starting with the flowering tent.

image13431.jpeg

The new arrivals. It's been 4 days since they were flipped.

image13432.jpeg

There's not much to Shiva Shanti ll (Day 38). Poor little indica got no respect in SweetSue's garden, but she did grow these nice three colas along the edge.

image13433.jpeg

Her pot companion Crossroads (Day 45) took up all the resources.

image13434.jpeg

Strawberry Blue (Day 59) is looking mighty impressive. I hope she packs it on.

image13435.jpeg

CBD Critical Mass (Day 121, flip + 38, CATs + 9) had to be staked up today. :slide:

image13436.jpeg

CBD Critical Cure (Day 121, flip + 56, CATs + 24) is still plugging away. Most of the trichomes are still clear.

image13437.jpeg

image13438.jpeg

On to the veg tent. Just a look in today. It was crazy hot in there, which is when I discovered I'd left the vent covers on. I left the tent flap open for the evening. Temps are stable in there now.

image13439.jpeg

image13440.jpeg

Last, but not least, the tiny closet and my lovely DDA2. Starting to show some exciting color.

image13444.jpeg

That's my girls today. Tomorrow they'll have me running. I'm sure there're a few drenches scheduled. I have some threads to check on, so I may stumble into some of you as the night progresses. I just finished my Callanetics session right before this post, so I'm all revved up again after that nap. Threw my schedule off again, or is it my body went back to late night again? :laughtwo:

Thanks for stopping, and keep spreading that joy, ok? Ok then. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

:Namaste:

late night food for thought

"To love at all is to be vulnerable... The only place outside Heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers and perturbations of love is Hell." - C.S. Lewis

Well, I feel like the luckiest guy alive, despite everything.

Why?

Because yesterday the Fe-mailman delivered a box sent by an Angel of sweet tasty mercy.

Folks, as I understand it I'm the only person outside her immediate family to have SweetSues BioBomb Brownies. Still living up to her MOTY title, she insisted on sending an entire batch.

Thank you, Love. :hugs::slide::yahoo:

In an effort to give them a fair shot, I refrained from partaking in anything cannabis after my morning toke yesterday. I really wanted one last night, but was really tired and feared I'd fall asleep and waste it.

So this morning at 6am, I ate a square. I've held off on pain meds to see what it does without other stuff mixed in. It's this first time I will have ingested dark devil in any form, so not sure what to expect.

Within 7 minutes I could tell pain was being muted.

After 15 minutes pain is even more muted. Arthritic pains (mostly in my well worn hands) are non issue.

Just now it's been 30 minutes and just the major pain areas are notable, which are in my back. Muted, but not really 'pain relief'. Not that I expected it to knock that pain out. I am noting a mild high now too. So DD is an high, not a stone for me.

Going to go ahead a take the pain meds now. 36 minutes since eating brownie. Playing with my kitten may be more amusing than normal.

45 minutes now. A pleasant mild buzz seems to be where I'm plateauing. At a 1/2 gram per square I would wager that it's mild because I've used cannabis forever, not because the brownies are weak. Before accident I weighed 225-250 depending on time of year. Right now I'm 175ish. So I'm still a big guy.

I give them a big ole' A for effectiveness. Being a big guy who is a heavy user, it may have not been very effective. It is.

And another A for taste. I've had various canna-brownies over the years. The canna taste is inescapable, especially when using dry matter. I've had some that reminded me of sticking my nose in a bong. Others that had ok odor but way to strong taste from the matter, or the matter wasn't ground fine enough and you end up chewing a stem. Or the brownie mix just flat sucked. Sues were an excellent balance of delish brownie and cannabis, and the matter was ground fine enough. Coming across small bits that clearly aren't brownie still happens, but there's no tree limbs hiding in there, lol.

Great job Sue! Thank you so much for the medicine and all the info that came with them in the package and here on site too! It's already making a difference.

:hugs::kisstwo::hugs::kisstwo::hugs::kisstwo::hugs::kisstwo:

Now it's an hour. High is medium mild. Might be creeping up a little.

Good morning Heirloom and others. Hey, I bet Sweet One's sweets are tops. Let us know if you have a little tingling a little later. I'm going to pull out my Dark Devil next week. Today the rotation brought me Pineapple Express and I'm diggin' it.

:circle-of-love:

I do seem to have a slight buzzing or tingling in my lips and central face. Very faint. 1hr 30-40 minutes after eating.
