Daily Update: Wednesday, June 8, 2016
OK, let's see if I can get this posted by midnight. Nothing like down to the wire Susan. Lol! Busy day, that ended with my weekly walking club, and oh, what a good time that's turning out to be. One of my better decisions this year. New friends intrigued by the idea of cannabis as a medicinal herb. You can imagine the conversations - SweetSue and three curious, but uneducated in all things cannabis older women. It's been interesting, to say the least. A pleasant walk along the river in near perfect weather didn't hurt either. I like these girls.
On to the girls in my grow, shall we? Why not start in the veg tent?
Yeah, the temps got nuts. I opened the tent around 11 AM or so to discover I'd turned the fan off and forgotten to turn it on again. Got a little warm in the tents this morning. Thankfully, no one's complaining.
A little bending and tucking on the Super Cheese (Day 43)
and on Carnival as well. (Day 52)
Bubba Kush (Day 56) gets to run wild.
Off to the neighboring flowering tent.
Off to the right we have Crossroads (Day 43) and Shiva Shanti ll (Day 36) to the back and Strawberry Blue (Day 57) to the front. On the left, CBD Critical Cure (Day 119, flip + 54, CATs + 22) to the back and CBD Critical Mass (Day 119, flip + 36, CATs + 7) in the center of the tent. I just now realized I have no picture of Zamaldelica mystery seed. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.
The Critical Cure is something to behold up close and personal.
Good-sized, very dense buds, beginning to show Amber at the tips. She's getting close.
I keep hooking that one up and it keeps working free.
The Critical Mass is building denser buds with way more visible trichomes. Most of the Critical Cure's are packed in the buds, with little visible on the sugar leaves. Not so with the Critical Mass. Covered in trichomes.
Dense, hard buds that remind me of Carnival. Very frosty.
DDA2 has started to get significantly larger. Her sense of presence has grown to feel more solid now and she's beginning to pack on the flowers. I love watching this stage with this strain.
The attempt to clone the top of Carnival will be a fail tomorrow. I'm sure of it. I'll clean up and start again with the Strawberry Blue cuttings.
Right after I took this picture a gust of wind blew them off the window sill.
They now have a bright spot in the kitchen that catches the late afternoon sun.
That's the tour for today guys. Thanks for stopping by. I have some pressing work to do in the study hall yet so I probably won't get out wandering tonight. I'll catch you tomorrow.
You were spreading joy, right? Good.
