The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Someone should do a sitcom about old folks who won't stop growing and smoking pot.

Heck you just wrote a couple storylines in the last day - the tent swap, and a conversation with the daughter passing judgement on Mom's stealth handiwork.

... call it "Breaking Dank" ...

Wait 'till I share that with her.

If we can get 9 seasons of a show about nothing, this should be good for at least 4 seasons of 20 episodes.

and a movie.

That's such a great idea. You know, all you'd have to do is sit here and siphon your 'ideas' straight from 420. There's so much material that comes on this forum every day - you'd have a hard time picking even 5% of the best stuff to cram into a show.

Thank you all for the much needed smiles this morning. The tent stories, forgotten zippers, stuck hair, lost hangers etc...too funny.

WeaselCracker - I'm feeling a little weird. Are you sure you didn't look over to the next camp and spot me in the middle of the night? You described many-a-night in my camp.

Sue - PM received. You doll. You sweetheart, you.:hugs::hugs::hugs::kisstwo::kisstwo::battingeyelashes::battingeyelashes::Love:

To come on here after a really bad day and find the love waiting in my inbox.....it changed today's beginning tone.

:thanks:

I am glad today is starting better then yesterday!!! Stay strong my friend and feel the love!!! :circle-of-love::peace:

All caught up from breaking dank to the great tent debacle to hash tips (led light bleach). Whenever it starts on a particular bud I stop it in its tracks by bending the bud sideways. It's gotta be due to some kind of receptor in the green and yellow light range. Like maybe those wavelengths determine plant response to high intensity. Because the blurples don't have those wavelengths the plant fails to respond properly and begins to bleach.
The LEDs that do it to me have secondary focusing lenses. You have to wonder if these contribute to the effect. When we have our lights close (for me close is less than 15") each individual LED can have a spotlight effect. Like a hundred small flashlights that have very focused beams. If these hit an active growing tip directly I bet it can cause more hash tips.

Pretty sad to lose my harvest pics to a camera card mess up but hey I have twister on the hangers so how can I be sorry! Looks like I will trim tomorrow. If I can get the blasted camera to work I will post a photo essay on my technique. We all should lol. Would be cool to see.

I also sent away for some 1 gallon bubblebags. I plan on making concentrate by the dry ice method. Then I will dissolve the dry ice hash into ethanol. Then evaporate the ethanol to make absolute.

But returning to the topic of growroom mishaps I have done everything but break a bone. Long hair in fan? Check. Falling inebriated on a Tutankhamon and basically killing her? Check just this grow cycle. Haha it was like time was slowed down and I could see the plant slowly filling my field of view. I think she whimpered. I split more than one branch in half lol. There I am laying on a 10 gallon pot of soil with branches cradling me and buds rising up around my head. All from leaning over to get that one ugly fan leaf haha. But at least I know how to change a four ounce plant into a two ounce plant! I need a harness I can hang from and work like Tom Cruise would use in mission impossible haha.

Sue, I feel so bad for getting such a chuckle out of your outburst yesterday! Best part was everything you said I could see coming out of my mouth too! Once this grow is done I'll be taking down my tent until after summer holiday is over. Wish me luck :laughtwo:

We are having some awesome weather here right now which is making my tent a little harder to keep cool and even worse the tent is making the bedroom even hotter. By the look of things I only have about another month, so I guess I shouldn't complain much.
Your new set up looks great, and the girls look happy as ever with all of their new space!

Shiggity while reading about your mishap all I could picture was Little Shop of Horrors thinking of you all eaten up by Tut. You need to find yourself a engine hoist and put the hook in a back belt loop. A couple pumps on the handle and you'll be floating above saving all plants below.

OMG, you guys are the greatest companions. What a wonderful way to start the day. I gotta get that shower and get the day started. Be back soon with pictures. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

In my day dreaming about getting back in the game, I've devised a similar device. Similar to what the guy in the desert camp was using in Mad Max 2, or like Rick Moranis slung over the yard in Honey I shrunk the kids.
One of my greatest joys this year will be seeing you get back into the grow. Come on it's inevitable. We can all take part in the design of things that may make it easier. It's gonna be the most amazing DIY setup. I don't envy your position. But I will cheer you on for sure!

Hee hee Sueread the last two sentences again. Sounds more like snapchat than 420 mag  just a bit naughty haha.

:laughtwo: Saggitarrian, we don't think before we speak. Lol!

I knew she'd be thirsty. Guess I was right. Carnival (on the right) and Bubba Kush getting a Transplant drench.

I'll let them sit out in the breeze while I take myself out to breakfast.

:ciao:

I've spent the greater part of the last year trying to figure out how to get away from here, to find myself within a month of the anniversary of his death coming to a sense of peace about staying.

Feeling very humbled by the way my life always seems to right itself.

I've been sitting here waiting for my meal considering what direction I want my perpetual to go in. I've increased my options, haven't I?

Nothing like space to get the gears twisting. By the way I am completely blazed of popcorn from Twister. Two bong hits and I am contemplating the fabric of the universe, grinning and listening to the birds outside, the weird him of the AC, and the quiet buzz of the fans. Back to work! Transplanted 10 into 10 gallon pots this am. Nothing like a fresh start!

I'm so thrilled for you. :hugs: Headed home with a fan for the big tent.

I decided to catch a bus rather than lug it the 1/2 mile home. :laughtwo:

I'm looking forward to spending some time in the tent again. I have those sweet glasses and a visor to protect my eyes. I flipped the two no-tills yesterday but didn't top dress or drench. Time to catch up.

Hey! You. Joy. Spread it all around. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

I've missed my tent. I'm so happy. :battingeyelashes:

Good to hear it sue! That fan will be a great addition to the tent.

We have a pair of those fancy glasses and they make a world of difference. I'm a welder so I can handle the bright light but it's nice to not have your eyes feel tired or see spots when you leave the room/tent.
