The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Sue, I'm sorry to cause you embarrassment and grief. That was not my intention. We are always learning and improving, and many people look up to you and your message.

Oh 36 :hugs: There wasn't any embarrassment. You'd have to have an ego to bruise to be embarrassed. :laughtwo: You stated the obvious in hopes of helping me. That's the way this system of ours is supposed to work. And in the end that's what it did. It worked. I was never really able to shut out the concern in your voice and that eventually led me to face that obvious truth.

I'm so glad you were there 36. I'll be so much happier with a bigger tent. I know how to fill one now and when I get it set up I'm flipping a couple plants. The Strawberry Blue and the Crossroads pot are both ready to go when I am.

See? Learning. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Twas a compliment to your growing skills that no one rushed to point it out to you. :cheesygrinsmiley: I considered it a couple times, yeah, but when I'm past the newbie stage with something, I know I don' like to have someone still hovering, so ... :cheesygrinsmiley: ... I di'n' hover. :slide:

No biggie, anyway. Kinda like wilting for watering, now you know where too close is.

Bleaching is news to me. Maybe it's an LED thing. I thought it was mop headed foxtailing :loopy:

You are far from a dumb blonde. My daughter had a dumb blonde cheerleader friend last year - you are a cheerleader, but not a dumb blonde.

:laughtwo: Ahhh..... I just adore you guys.

Hello Sue,

not sure why I haven't subbed this thread yet but here I go!

Cheers,

Pre-Med

Welcome Pre-Med. make yourself at home. You caught me in the middle of yet another readjustment. :laughtwo: This'll be fun to watch. The tents are much easier to dissemble than the circus of assembly. Time to see if I remember how to do it.

That was the most endearing way to put it Graytail. I considered that, but thought, "Nay, they don't think I'm that competent, do they?" Lol! Hover guys, please, hover. :battingeyelashes: As a reminder, no ego here. Just interested in getting better.

I was in the kitchen doing dishes, when I heard 36 again in the back of my brain and suddenly I was compelled to google it. The plant was out for a drench so I got in there and looked real close. Sometimes it's a shock to discover that I don't have young eyes anymore.

I have a course on "Sight Without Glasses" around here....... There it is. On my "get to me" pile.

Thank you Rad. That was a sweet compliment. :hugs:

Morning Sue!

You aren't dumb by any means and if I would have known I would have told you. I was admiring those tops and wondering if when I upgrade my light I could be looking for something the same. They look so beautiful.
I am now questioning my light upgrade since my tent is only 6ft tall. Once you hang the light down I loose even more. Growing with a more powerful light I might not get the light as far away as I want. My first grow I got some brown tips on a few colas from my lights being to close. This grow I was able to tie my girl down enough that the light isn't being an issue. Just not sure how much better of a job I would have to do at this when using a stronger light.
Well thats why we are all here isn't it? Laugh a lot and learn even more. Just don't be so hard on yourself it's not a good look on you. :)
Happy to see your back to smoking away, just started my morning with a vape of JackH sun is shining and coffee is ready.

one armed gator wrestling putting them together by ones self.

As some one who grows in a small 'veg' tent for the full cycle, I say rock on, I So wish I could raise my lights.

I love my little plants. An Auto, I think 4 weeks from seed.

Alright, before I jump into the shower, let me shower a little love here. You guys always help me start my day with a smile, and a few belly laughs.

What confused me most is this happened to Cajun's too, and he apparently was happy about it. When he didn't respond I figure it was a good thing. After all, the man was working as a professional cultivator, so he should know, right? Live and learn. I wasn't as important to him as I thought.

I've looked at enough specimens now to see that it's bleaching, pure and simple. So now I get my big tent back and the daughter has to live with it until she moves.

huge thread covering heaps ,subbed nice plants sue ,that bleaching isnt too bad ,lovely plants

That's so sweet of you photos, and welcome to my joyful little journal. :laughtwo: I see you're new with us, so a hearty :welcome: to the greater :420: community as well. Are you finding everything to your liking? If we can help you settle in any easier you've only to ask for help and someone will swoop in to assist. Good neighbor's here. :battingeyelashes:

The reality is that's a pretty serious case of bleaching, one of the best I've seen documented, actually. :laughtwo:

Really? We're gonna let her get away with that neglect? No ones gonna berate her? She gets a trophy anyways?

Well, things would be different on any other forum.

:laughtwo:

'Morning Sue

:circle-of-love:

Mornin' Heirloom. :hugs: I know, they handle me like I'm breakable. Lol! I find it endearing, and yes, I agree with you. Another forum would've chewed me up and spit me out. This is why I live here. I haven't accessed one of my other site accounts in months now. Check your PMs.

I love your little plants too keltic. :circle-of-love:

"One-armed gator wrestling". What a priceless discription of this formidable task.

Let me get this show on the road. It's going to be a long day. This looks to be a good day to take myself out to dinner. I didn't get brownies done yesterday so I may bake some buds instead to get a quick edible base under my feet. Not a bad idea gal!

And so it begins......

image13247.jpeg

Let me start with a righteous buzz. Oh!!! I forgot to bake some buds. :laughtwo:

Wow! It's so quiet in here now. :laughtwo:

If anyone out there knows the secret to taking one of these f*****n tents down, would you PLEASE share that secret with me. I cannot, for the life of me, get the poles to come apart. The tents fit like a glove and I'm about to take a box cutter to this f****R.

Yes, I'm frustrated. :laughtwo:

How many more hours until you can medicate? Lol

But I found it easier to take the tent material all the way off first then if you have some channel locks or adjustable pliers you can squeeze the little pin and pull it out.

Putting them up is a lot easier than taking them down that's for sure.

Learned something cool today about baked buds. If you chase the baked bud with a tablespoon of coconut (which I always follow with a swallow of mango juice) it hits faster. It hit me really hard too, while climbing up off the floor after wiping the tents down. Baked buds hit faster than you'd expect anyway, but I noticed that today, being the first time I'd used coconut oil with them, they hit faster.

Sorry about the rage guys. Those of you who mess with these tents understand completely where that came from, but I could have expressed it a little less forcefully or profanely. For that I beg your forgiveness. I'd take it down, but transparency requires I let you see more than the happy, joyful moments into my darker, less contained side. That's not always a pretty sight.

Thank you for understanding. :battingeyelashes:

I work in construction, the profanity you censored is used here constantly. Guys even use it 12 times in a 15 word sentence. Not to worry, we all know your frustration. That is why our 4x4 tent hasn't moved since our girls moved out. Don't want to deal with the hassle lol
