The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

A gal could spend all of a rainy day learning the ins and outs of her vape pen. :battingeyelashes:  Sounds like a plan. :laughtwo:

....... and I did exactly that. :laughtwo: Gosh what a fun day. I just now finished off the last bit of that delightful oil I made yesterday, and I now have a good working relationship with my Vapor Brothers Pen. I can't believe how productive I managed to be at the same time. I even took two walks to the local shops and went out to lunch. Geez, maybe I should do this more often. :laughtwo:

Interestingly enough, I seem to fall into a consumption rate that comes in around 2-3 grams a day, regardless of how I choose to consume or what product I'm consuming. Apparently that's where my body feels most comfortable. This is valuable information to know because now I can determine production quotas for my own care. It's far less than 1-2 grams of CCO a day, but it's still a respectable draw on inventory. It's where I'm comfortable though, so I should just plan for it and then overshoot by a couple miles. Lol!

Good afternoon Sue! :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Good afternoon Noob. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Look, I've finally purchased hemp wick. :laughtwo:

And yes, I'm wondering why that took so long.

Daily Update: Thursday, May 19, 2016

Well, good evening everyone. I've been kinda lost in research mode today following a pleasant trip across town to procure exotic spices that can only be found in an Indian grocery. It just now hit me that I took a trip all the way cross town to that grocer and neglected to grab soap nuts. Oh well, must not be time for that one. It's not like I'll never get back there.

OK, let's see what's up in the grow spaces, shall we? :battingeyelashes:

The tiny closet seems a good jumping off point, so Carnival's up first. She's 32 days old today and responding well to Tuesday's Growth Energy drench, isn't she? What a beauty already.

image12359.jpeg

DDA2 (Day 37) got stretched out a bit more, ever so gently, of course.

image12361.jpeg

image12362.jpeg

image12363.jpeg

Shes started to flower.

image12364.jpeg

My clone experiment is done. I'll consider a cloner, but I have to ask myself what place clones have in my garden at this point. I plan to relocate. True, I have no idea at this point when that will be, but even so, I won't be able to take them with me anyway. I have a surplus of seeds and more on the way. I believe I'll let cloning remain on the list of future ventures, after I've settled in wherever it is I'll end up.

Into the flowering tent.

They're both 99 days old. CBD Critical Mass, on the left, is flip + 16, and the CBD Critical Cure is flip + 34 and on her second day since her second CAT drench.

image12383.jpeg

That's what we're all watching for. And so it begins. :slide:

Zamaldelica (Day 3) got leggy overnight. I figure I can always tier her if necessary. No stressing with plants anymore. For every challenge there's a solution.

image12370.jpeg

I lifted her up closer to the light. This was all my responsibility. I left her on the floor, too far from GOD.

image12371.jpeg

Right next door we have the soon-to-be crowded veg tent.

image12372.jpeg

Wow! This tent throbs with energy!

image12373.jpeg

Bubba Kush (Day 36) is looking more like I expect an HB Kit plant to present.

image12374.jpeg

image12375.jpeg

The community pot. The Crossroads looks like she decided to get really serious, doesn't she? :laughtwo: I was shocked to see her when I opened the tent up.

image12377.jpeg

She's at Day 23. The real estate is about to get tight. Tomorrow, or possibly later tonight, I may do some trimming of leaves. Then again, look at her. How can I touch that? I should just leave them run and see what happens.

image12378.jpeg

Little Shiva Shanti ll looks in shock. Can't you hear her thinking "WTH?" Maybe some supplemental CFLs would help this side of the tent. I might be able to get some in the back corner. Give it more thought girl. They may adapt.

image12379.jpeg

The Crossroads 2 (Day 17) is about to do the same explosive growth her sister just did. They're only five days apart in age.

image12380.jpeg

Strawberry Blue (Day 37) I was reminded today of the sweet perfume she'll emit when she gets into flowering mode.

image12381.jpeg

Super Cheese (Day 23) Getting ready to make her own vertical leap. This is getting to be fun. *giggle*.

image12382.jpeg

That's my happy brood today guys. It was nice of you to stop and visit. I need to get to the kitchen and get something into this grumbling stomach. I've pushed it far enough it's probably going to have to be a quick tuna snack. :laughtwo: I have this crazy tendency to forget I'm responsible for my own meals. Lol!

Its a Callanetics night, so I'll get some running around time before I get started there, since it's a good idea to let the food settle some. I'll be dropping in on a few of you. But first - "FOOD!" :laughtwo:

:Namaste:

Awww... I missed my 17,000th post. I was watching for that too. :laughtwo:

I have a 200 ft ball of the stuff coming. The little versions I was getting at the shop weren't lasting that long. I take too many bong rips :)

I think we will have to see what the craze is over this. Still not understanding the point of it unless you have a 6' tall bong lol.

Re: hempwick, the burn is noticeably cooler than a butane lighter. It pays for itself in reduced lighter fuel and lighter replacements. .

Taking visitors into account, wick usage is about 50 / 50 for waterpipe bowls, near 100% for spoons, short water pipes, and steamrollers. It's about how cool you want your smoke.

No-one uses hemp wick to light joints or blunts.

Lighting keef with butane is grounds for social ostracism.!!

About one person in 3 puts out the wick when passing, but those are the same ones who savour their exhale before passing the pipe.

I like the fact that I don't singe my fingers with a hemp wick when cornering a bowl.

Hemp wick is hard to use outdoors in the wind.

Mrs Rado, as is her wont, did extreme decorating making this hempwick dispenser

The little books have titles. The holes for the stick have brass findings sold for flashy horse bridles. The grotesques (technically not gargoyles) have jeweled eyes in slightly unsettling rhinestone colors. Etc

Tasteless. It let's you tast your bounty without fuel interference.

Cheers

I love the attitude you have adopted regarding not stressing over plants. I share your thinking :) Looking lovely as always! :thumb:

Thanks Grolow. It's been a while getting to this point. :laughtwo:

I was thinking yesterday that I better order a big ball. I'm a heavy user myself. Lol!

Taste. It's all about taste. The control of the flame, the no longer burning the thumb or fingers when lighting, and the sweet way you can easily pass the flame over the bowl to hit just where you wanted it to be. I love the stuff already.

I love what she did with that dispenser. What a creative mind. May I ask, how do you put out the wick? I'm thinking a tamping surface would be beneficial. It goes out with a shake but then it smolders. Smoking alone I want it out completely and quickly. I'm just curious.

I just like the way it taste. I haven't even tried it on a pipe yet.

I haven't either. I should try it now.

I have used hemp wick for maybe 5 years now. I can tell a difference to be honest! Have even done blind tests with mates who swear by their lighters.

A couple times yesterday I forgot and lit with the lighter and had to follow with a wick to offset the taste of the butane. :laughtwo: World of difference.

Amen!! I'm cleaning the bong stem today so I can get true flavor and see what that really is with a bong. This Dark Devil Auto is tasty. I don't remember it being this tasty before. Maybe it's the light???

I did not know that. I must get some for the wifey. She will probably not believe me. But I do have a hemp store around my block.

Good to know. Thanks!!!

She'll thank you for it. :circle-of-love:

Brixed!

I've been terribly lax about scheduling foliars. That changes now. If I want to max out potential I need to follow the plan. Foliars serve a necessary function in the smooth operation of Doc's HB kit, but those benefits only occur if you do them.

:laughtwo: Snuff it between the fingers. Just figured it out. Lol! Such a blonde sometimes. :laughtwo:

It's gonna take a very special man with a finely developed sense of humor. I'm sure the guys in the office of Universal Quality Control, Joy Division know that. :laughtwo:

My daughter bought me some hemp wick for my birthday a few years ago when I began this Alternative Medicine journey (I now think Big Pharma should be called Alternative Medicine and MM should be mainstream). I asked her about the potency of the hemp wick (I thought I was supported to smoke it) and she just about cried with laughter. I love when being a dumb ass tickles others, it is so humbling and extra hilarious.

Are you going to end up on our West Coast Sue? Perhaps that's your destination even if you haven't decided yet! I love your prayer beads and that life story. You seem to be very similar to my oldest sister in very many ways (as least what I can know of Susan from a web forum!). Thanks for keeping your head in this game, thanks for unselfishly helping people like me, and a big thanks for spending so much of your time trying to make 420Magazine the best source of information for MM on the IntraWebs.

It's time for a Hash making session tonight, a process I've honed and refined to my liking. I was thinking of making CO with the Hash, I haven't tried that yet. Yield will be low, but that's OK at this point in time, I've built up enough reserves for a little while. Would the resultant product be called CHO ... Cannabis Hash Oil if I use only Hash? Maybe I'm just being stupid, or but perhaps it might work really well, but I'll never know unless I give my best effort.

You certainly deserve a good man with an awesome sense of humor, don't settle for less!
Maybe this forum will assist you in finding that special person, or perhaps your new location might be your introductory path. In any event, I truly hope your final destination still includes your presence here on 420Magazine!

Best Of Buds

JB
