The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

I find myself wondering though, if as we get older we need less sleep? I seem to wake after 5-6 hours, regardless of any factors. I used to demand 8 hours or I was unbearable company. Now I function quite well, for all intents and purposes, on 5-6. It's when I fall down to 3-4 hours for a few nights straight, which I've been known to do of late, that trouble begins. That's the cycle I need to stop.

5-6 hours a night, occasional stretches of 3-4 hours a night until I crash and sleep 10 hours, then back to 5-6 hours a night.
This has been my schedule since about age 50.

I imagine you could put aloe pups in a USPS small box and mail them without major problems - Do you think that would work?

I'd imagine it could be packaged with nettle meal around it for safe travels as well.

Sue,

Aloe is a kitchen plant for burns that many people keep and give away starts when the get too big. You may want to ask some friends if they have a plant.

I never know
canyon

I've asked all of my friends Canyon. Unbelievably, none of them have an aloe plant. I was so tempted while in Phoenix, to dig some up from the side of the road and bring some home with me. I regret not doing so.

Ok, do I'm not alone. Thank you Rad.

If Pot Chimp can figure out how to successfully mail a clone, I'm certain it's possible to get come thing as hearty as aloe pups to mail safely.

Excellent idea. See? 36 figured it out for you. :high-five:

Hi Sue! Your tents are looking great! :bravo:

Hello Bangabong. Always good to have you stop by. They appear to be shaping up nicely. I'm still trying to get a feel for perpetual in these 2x2 tents. It's still a shock coming down from a 4x4. It's nice to have seeds cooperate. :laughtwo:

RheinRover, I missed replying on this earlier. :woohoo: I'm so pleased you're making oil. I assume you'll be posting pictures on your journal? I'll have to check it out.

I will have to take some pictures. I haven't started a new journal since I finished my original but I will make sure I let you know the out come. I started with 14g of dried herb for this first run to see if I like how it turns out. If its good I will plan to make more.

Also to reply to you first reply-- I'm at a loss for words how this plant we all love can be illegal. I always like to think glass half full and maybe your daughters first 33 years were rough but lets look at the positive and hope she doesn't have another 33 years of pain.

Me toooo!

I got my Aloe plant from a local grocery (safeway) It was in need of love, badly.
I gave it all my love, it rebounded and......
It now sits happy in my window. With lemon balm and (i think) german Tarragon.

I have a bag of organic flax seed that I have been meaning to research "How to use" in the garden.
good reminder you guys Thanks.....:thanks:

I love you guys. :circle-of-love: The reality is that the last two years of my husband's life I was fixated on him, and the past year since his passing was spent working through grief. It left little time for running around. My running around is by bus, so I rely on local stores. Corporate retail has changed the landscape of local stores.

Aloe used to be a staple in our local stores. I don't know what changed but suddenly it wasn't. I'm keeping my eyes open this year, now that I have less distractions. :battingeyelashes:

I was taking pictures of the DDA2 and thought "This would be the perfect time to top her".

My hand slipped at the last second. That's what I get for not moving things out of the way first.

I decided to pretend something came along and nibbled her top off. She'll survive. Let's see how well she can adapt.

I consoled myself with the smell of a pan of brownies baking in the oven.

You are killing me with the brownie porn, Sue.

Forgive me then, oh favorite Noob. :battingeyelashes: I just took them out of the oven. The apartment smells heavenly. I can't have one for another half hour.

If we had those transporter pads finished I'd be sending some over. :laughtwo:

Good afternoon, by the way. :hug::hug:

The Seedlings. Strawberry Blue (Day 22) gets transplanted tomorrow. Carnival (Day 17) looks like she'll be ready before Bubba Kush (Day 21). This Carnival is already looking like a showgirl. :battingeyelashes:

Dark Devil Auto (Day 82) I can't believe the way she's hanging on, but she sent out a whole new wave of pistils following yesterday's malted barley grain drench.
