Day 31/41. I already made this post last night but I guess I only previewed it and didn't actually submit it! DOH!

B. Wowie got only watered and wasn't even flooded; only added water to drain hole.

Here is the surprise. Two additional 144 watt LED panels have been added bringing the total to 576 LEDs blazing away! :riskybusiness:

magnificent :bravo: I love to see LEDs and I'm hoping that more energy is focused on developing the technology.

I'd like to get a pair of 300 watters from here. The creator has a journal on this very site.

I'm always bringing in outside air into the tent and then sucking it out through a carbon filter to outside the tent. As a result, it is difficult to ascertain how much of an effect the lights have. If I do not move air through the tent, it will get too warm for growing. Noise wise, I have no issue with them. The inline completely covers the 80 mm axial fans that are used in the lights.

I'm psyched to see how those beautiful plants capitalize on all those lumens! You're gonna need to post a parental advisory for explicit content before long.:rasta:
 
Day 32 for the Satori and the Bagseeds are 6 weeks old. All got fed and watered but with the Blueberry Wowie only getting a weak nutrient solution, but flooded its bucket today. It is looking better all the time. Thanks everyone for your tips! :thankyou:

Missed pics of Ogre today.

If I were to go by my theory on smell and gender, then Ogre and Satori 3 will be female and the Blueberry Wowie, Master Kush, and Satori 1 will be male. We will know within a few weeks time.

P.S. No, seriously - I'd like to hear your theory, too. Have you been able to qualitatively discern differences in the plant's terpene profile based on sex, even pre-sexing? That'd be fascinating.

Or maybe you have a Super-Sniffer like Gus from psych?
 
Thanks everyone. My hypothesis is that the females are the plants that smell like Cannabis. The ones that smell like nothing or lightly of a non specific plant smell are the males. Again, I'm just taking a guess.
 
Day 33/43. I setup the auto-watering system today. It will start running tomorrow. Pics will have to be of the plants in the tent from here on out.

All got fed and watered except for the Blueberry Wowie which got RO water only. Last day before it gets fed nutes via the auto-watering system.

Here is how I have the tubing attached to the buckets. Metal clips that are made to be pushed into soil. We shall see how well it works.

Sweet Munki!

I set up my auto drip system yesterday. Looks very similar, but I just clipped a wire hanger up to use as stays for the tubing, and just pushed em in the mediums.

I have to get 1 more gang box for the lines so I can hit the Perlite filled pots too, but I may wait till I have a plant to put in it! I will be making 4 more of these for my SOG setup.

My theory is pretty much the same. Males smell like regular old plants and females smell like their buds taste very early. Rub the leaves with your fingers and smell them. If it smells "good", they are probably female. I have 6 females on my last grow that all smelled pretty, but no males were born so I don't have a comparison with that grow. But I'm pretty sure I have a male in the setup I just posted. The one on the left has really no smell to it, but the other 2 smell wonderful already. So I'm with ya on that and we'll see.
 
Day 34/44. Tried out the watering system. It leaks too much at the distributor, so I may need to install it back in the reservoir and run the 1/4 inch tubing all the way into the tent.

I rubbed and smelled each stem today. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best)

Blueberry Wowie - 5
Master Kush - 6
Ogre - 8
Satori 1 - 8
Satori 3 - 10! WOW!

I had to go back and double check but man, it smells strong and wonderful!
