The Munki's Playground

Day 29/39. Plant growth is "off da hook"! Where there is new leaf growth, it is noticeably lighter green in color. I attribute that to all plants getting RO water only yesterday. All plants got fed and watered today.

Both Satori were topped today. You can see the result in the top picture of Satori 3.

I noticed that the Ogre has in a few spots what appear to be pre-flower pistils. The pictures I have are out of focus and the one I got in focus doesn't really show them right, but they are white, flexible and the longest is like a centimeter in length. Maybe I'm imagining things as they are getting 18 hours of light per day. :hmmm:

Here is where I'm seeing the pre flower parts (I think). It is the fuzzy white thing.

Here are a few next to where I topped.

You may have an auto-flowering strain on your hands if you see pistils this early. And yes it looks like a pre-flowering white pistil, even out of focus.

I'm using GH Flora Micro and Bloom liquid products. When I mix up a 5 gallon batch, I've listed the concentrations from calculators and posted them in this thread as screenshots. In this last batch, I upped the micro and kept the bloom low. 9mL/gal micro and 10mL/gal bloom elevated the nitrogen levels. It appears that may have helped in the Ogre's and Master Kush's explosion of secondary growth.

sounds good in my book. thats the cool thing about the flora series u can adjust it how u want.

the girls are growing fast!:MoreNutes:

Hell Munki, I thought you only grew a couple of plants at a time !! Thats one hell of a garden there !! Must have plenty of room for all those 5 gal buckets...

They are only 2 gallon buckets. Otherwise, they would never fit under the light. They already are too crowded as it is!

I hope it isn't an autoflower, otherwise I can't clone it which would be a shame.

lookin good

Thanks psyence!

I agree that this hempy method is good for determining the effect of different nutrients and nutrient levels as I could see a difference in one day.

Beautiful Munki :yummy:

All are looking good. That Blueberry Wowie is sure rumpled, but looks very healthy. May you have luck on getting some good ladies.

It does look rumpled but less so since the RO water flushes.

Brotha all I can say is I see some hairs on those ladies :yahoo: and that alone make it well worth the work. The look of that Master Kush just makes me pray that you have a female on your hand. Its a beast!! you thinking of LST'n it? With that amount of branches its just screaming bondage

I wasn't planning on doing too much besides topping as I want to see the natural aspects of each strain. I'll do a bunch of things to the next generation fo sho!

Day 30/40. Getting bushy in the tent. The Blueberry Wowie doesn't drink much of the water though so I drained out most of the remaining water from the bottom of the pot and did not re-water it. Thinking is that this plant has been too waterlogged and wants some drier roots. Hempy allows me to find out within a couple of days.

Got some spots of damage on the Master Kush and Ogre. Thought about it for a while and I think they were caused from some nutrient water getting on the leaves when I was putting the pots back in last night. The nutes damaged the leaves on the outside. Got some pics to see if y'all agree.

I also mixed up another 5 gallons of nutrient water. Full Lucas strength so 40 ml of micro and 80 ml of bloom.

Lots of pics today though I missed Satori 1.

These pics show the damage I see. I hope it is just nute burn from spillage.

The girls are looking excellent Munki! :goodjob:

Have you cut your clones yet? When will you switching to 12/12??

Those spots on the leaves definitely do look like nute burn, but keep an eye out for spreading and you'll have your answer. No spread and your good.

Just came by cause in all my time here I don't think I have ever said Hi.so
HIGH.And Munki you are 1 of the best growers in the place and I have lurked and seen your work and it is a pleasure just to look at some of your gals.:thumb::surf::popcorn:

I would chalk that one up to the spillage, i have been wrong plenty of times. Keep an eye out (which you always do) and be sure to adjust your nutes as needed if it does turn out to be an ongoing issue. I doubt it is though :ganjamon:

(side note: I would run a another flush on the B.Wowie. Seems like that last flush helped to straighted things out a lil. I think that another one would put an end to the contorting of the leafs, just a suggestion though)

Either way brotha, your going to have one hell of a harvest :goodjob:

No cuts. I changed my mind and decided to cut after I see gender expression. Waiting for the Satori to grow a bit more before switching over but it could be as early as Saturday.

Looking good! Im in.

Thanks herbsnbuds & Stealthy1.

Thanks for coming by Spike69. Hope you are feeling better; stopped by your journal a while back and saw you were in bad shape. If you are browsing other threads I take that as a good sign. Check in here occasionally, love to get your input down the road.

Looking good Munki,
I agree with earlier post, the spots are caused by your nutes or atleast looks identical.

OK, cool. Thanks man0os.

Gave the B. Wowie some water today with some nutrient water but not much. Did not flood bucket either but just let it go up to the level of the hole. I want to encourage new root growth as the existing root structure isn't taking water and nutes very well presently.

Yep, you'd almost think those girls were European--! :laughtwo:

Nice work and excellent journal as usual Munki, +Reps!

Cheers,
