Brownies, plants and a harvest -- there's always so much going on at your place, Sue :) You document things so beautifully, I feel like I've actually visited.

Is this your first time growing the Afghani, or is it a familiar strain to you? It's one of my favourites to vape/smoke (coincidentally I've just had some :)) and I was given some free seeds with my Herbies order so ... someday when I'm brave and willing to try photo periods, I think I'll pop a few of them!

It's my first go round with an Afghani. I didn't do it any real justice. It's kind of primal looking too, hanging next to the Dark Devil Autos. I have some small bits that got clipped during the trim that I'll try in a couple days. I don't think I've ever smoked it either. When you buy on the street you have no way of knowing really, what you're getting, do you?
 
think it depends on the street, and more of a quality matter then a named strain.

"Aweeee dawgggg! this be da best damned weed u dun ever smoked ever forever yo! my boy had this curing for months!"
....in reality it was harvested early and speed cured:laugh:

Alright buckaroos, SweetSue is burning the candle at both ends here. Between the emotional edge of the sativas and sleep deprivation I'm at my wit's end. I'm going to crawl between the sheets and cry myself to sleep. That'll get it all out of my system. Tomorrow's a better day.

I have some quick drenches in the tent and then the day is devoted to giving this new toy a couple exploratory runs. It's a cool, rainy day today, but in rare dramatic fashion, the cloud is resting so close to ground level and temperatures are so precise that the rain is evaporating in sheets right back up. It's like we're in the cloud, and it's right above my building level. Looking out I'm seeing right under the base of all that energetic moisture exchange. These events are rare enough around here that I'm going to take the time to enjoy this one.

What music for a rainy science observation? Any thoughts? :battingeyelashes:

That's beautiful. What a great gift!

Yeah, until I started buying from dispensaries I never had a clue what I was smoking. I thought I would find the Afghani heavy and kushy, but for me it was all light and bright sunshine (relaxing, though) -- like smoking in the Garden of Eden :) Have fun playing!
 
Just looking it over, marveling at the simplicity. Thinking about systems to keep it clean and in good working order. The mind is going a mile a minute.

I haven't used it yet, mind you, and I'm laughing like an idiot. :laughtwo:

So happy for you Sue! Prepare to taste the subtle flavore you have missed before. Also be ready because a vape high to me is much more of an "up" high than smoking. Congrats!!!

Totally agree with this. I love the range of flavours I can taste when I vape that are totally wiped out when I smoke. And the high is really easily controlled because it's so quick and lighter, somehow. You can keep building layers of high until you're where you want to be.

Also I love the fact that once vaped, the cannabis is now decarbed and has plenty of good stuff left in it to make edibles with!

I had reassurance from my dear friend that I shouldn't be afraid to try fresh buds. Well, he obviously knows I have Dark Devil Auto options hanging in my hallway. :battingeyelashes: I got right up off the floor and grabbed a piece. After all, it's the maiden voyage.

So clean. This will make it easier to catch the flavors, for sure, but today I can't go there. Hahaha! I'm enjoying the layering effect, although I haven't stop layering yet. LOL! I'm sitting on the mat, of course, in front of the mirrors, watching myself get totally wasted. I've reached the conclusion that I'm an attractive woman. LOL!

Just turned to look out across the river valley and caught a beautiful shot of the clouds to post on my Spot. How cool was that? Ahhh guys. I'm gonna enjoy this for a while.

I did get into the tent before I started, thank goodness and got some stunning shots of Carnival. Let's see if I can somehow get them posted today. Don't hold your breath, but I may surprise us all. :battingeyelashes: :Love:

It's a big, generous universe rife with opportunity to love and be loved in return. Grab for it at every chance.

Take a minute again today to let the universe know how grateful you are for it all. They appreciate that and your life begins to express itself more joyfully, regardless of your circumstances. What do you have to lose?

This is a wonderful device. I particularly like the control it offers. And that clear "did I actually take a hit?" feeling right before it smacks you between the eyes.

Yeah, I'm having fun. :laughtwo: It's kicked me into high gear creatively and I have papers and notes on a personal project all around me, working feverishly. Having a blast. Time to get off the floor and move around.

I understand now guys. Hahaha!

She's obviously on the same page with her cultivator. I look forward to another try with this strain. She's been a delight every step along the way, and look at the harvest she's promising to deliver. Damn! Lucky me. Jars of cured Carnival will await me when I return home. :laughtwo: :yahoo:
