The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

Daily Update: Perpetual,Tent - Week 20, Day 7

Maintenance notes:
- All Kit plants got a Brix foliar.
- Added 1/2 gallon of water to the SWICK reservoir.

Let's see who's left, shall we?

Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia ( Day 54) She's evidentially hell-bent on offering me something potent. Already beginning the fade. This one will miss out entirely on the CAT. Not enough time. Interestingly, that gives me a basis for comparison, since I still have a small sample of the previous one curing

Nebula (Day 94) Winding down pretty quickly herself. Looking at these I'm working out how dramatically the drop in light hours affected the timelines. I'll be better prepared next time, although next time it'll be in LOS and timing isn't as critical.

Original Bubblegum (Day 80) She looks to be ready to do some impressive blooming in the week she has left. There's some sweet foxtailing beginning at the peak. :slide:

One last look over the shoulder before it gets zipped up.

And the day is done. On to Callanetics. I'll probably be out and about later, so I hope to run into some of you. I've been pretty busy around here lately and I'm kinda missing the conversations. :laughtwo:  Later.

:Namaste:

Carnival (Day 136)

Once again, she speaks for herself. I'm in awe with the rest of you. ShiggityFlip commented earlier on one of Cajun's threads that the most exciting plant in my tent right now isn't an auto, but a photo, and he's right. The part he forgot to mention, and in this case a point that cannot be overlooked, is that this plant was raised in soil fed and maintained using Doc's HB Kit. That made all the difference. What we're looking at here is a classic first run HB Kit plant. When I get back to growing in the New Year, my goal will be to replicate this kind of growth and development in my own garden using LOS.

A big voice inside me keeps asking me why I'd even look further? :laughtwo: I keep reminding it of my love of a sustainable plot with worms, thank you very much. But I hear that voice and I understand its insistence on being listened to. I'm just more hard-headed than the voice is insistent. And then I look at her again and wonder.......

Those sure are getting frosty

Hi, Sue :) I'm heavily medicated (on Afghani, as it happens -- love this smoke! It's mellow but super clear and fresh) but wanted to say that the upskirt on the Carnival is HOT :) I think my next grow is going to have to be an organic grow of some sort -- the call of soil is strong and your work is inspiring.

Love your corner, too. Thank you for the glimpse of your world. I have a corner in our media room with my computer and a comfy wing chair and all my craft stuff around me (and my stash box :)) Wherever I am in the house (or anywhere) I make a little nest and snuggle in :)

Take care.

There's no tastier produce than that grown by a healthy plot of living organic soil. Someday you'll find that out. :battingeyelashes:

Nesting is good. I'm surprised at how little space I require now to be happy. This room measures approx. 15' x 17' with 8' ceiling. Windows on three sides make it particularly airy and open. If this were an efficiency apartment I'd probably have a bedroll and a kitchenette and be very happy. My secret is mirrors. There are four in the panel next to me and two more large mirrors on other walls. I like to throw the light around. :laughtwo: I counted yesterday, and I have 12 mirrors in this small 725 sq. ft. apartment. Three are vintage vanity mirrors used as backdrops in the display shelves, but the rest are sizable pieces. I've always had a thing for mirrors.

I remember the first time my daughter-in-law came to visit. She walked into the living room, passing the large mirror at the bottom of the stairs and looking directly into the expansive mantle mirror in the living room itself and smiled. "Now I understand his obsession" she laughed. It's a shame she hates me. The girl has a wicked sense of humor.

Those sure are getting frosty

Yes she is getting frosty. Impressively so. I'm looking at those sugar leaves and drooling myself. Hahaha!

Good morning Sue :circle-of-love:

this song is for you, take a stroll down memory lane

Thank you. That was a delightful listen and such a special find. :circle-of-love:

I need you to edit the post and remove the video. I relocated it on my Spot thread, where such a post is permissible.

Save the mods the trouble and edit it yourself. Thanks. You're a dear.

Jarring It Up

Unknown Seed - Add in the 8 grams from the brownie batch and we had 14 grams from that plant. Very respectable. :blunt:

image4294.jpeg

DeLahaze - Obviously training increases yield. Most of the weight in this girl was in her stem. I was surprised that the Unknown Seed pulled double this specimen. I heard all you who practice LST say "You shouldn't have been surprised". :laughtwo: Yes, I've learned my lessons and all tiny pots going forward will be trained.

Saved out a piece to try now. It's 5:13 AM and I'm still wide awake. I always expect Callanetics in the middle of the night to wear me down and it never does. In fact, it apparently refreshes me. Maybe in another hour I'll be ready, but until then, let me test this out. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Its not always the destination, but the journey!

They look very smokable:rollit:

And the bird girl... I looked at is as her suggesting 'come here you, put your nose in my face!'

Ahhh... It's a "come hither". :laughtwo: Why thank you DankWolf, for clarifying that for us.

Congratulations on such sweet success!!! Looks yummy!

:yummy:

Why thank you, dear, and good morning to you too.

Good Morning everyone.

I smoked that small piece last night and was surprised at the buzz. Since it was almost 4AM, I think, before I started I thought the fatigue from the marathon Callanetics session might have played a factor, so this morning I'm using it as my Wake 'n Bake. I'll be able to better determine the quality. I haven't been in the tent yet. I was thinkin' get baked first and make it a special experience this morning. :laughtwo:

Here I go!!!

I know you love your brownies, but I hope you try a bit of that Delahaze. It's a nice strain that should give you the effect you've said you like best.:Namaste:

image4301.jpeg

Proof I made it into the tent. :laughtwo: If you don't hear from me......you all know the routine.

I don't think I've ever been this wonderfully, delightfully, blissfully high in my entire life, and I knew if I didn't get in here now I'd not get in here at all. Smoke report in a bit. I just need to say hello to them. There's nothing they need to do but bake. I'll do the 1/4 turns and get out. I'm too high to do anything more than giggle. Hahaha!

See you in a few with that smoke report. brightlight - I love you. :hugs:  :kisstwo:

I made it out of the tent. *giggle*

Smoke Report: Paradise DeLahaze

Let me begin by saying I now understand why they referred to it as "getting high" in a whole new way. :laughtwo: I have never been this pleasantly rediculously high in my life. Giggly, warm, loving, lost in the music. I know, big surprise there. LOL! I spent a significant portion of getting high following the electro beat surprises the gypsy leaves in his second book. This is where I started, just as the buzz hit, about four teeny hits in.

Gypsy's Caravan Chronicles - Book 2 - Break out the Electro'

It is physically impossible for me to listen to this music without becoming part of it with movement. I can't think of anything better to do with my day from this point than to listen to music of all forms and explore movement to the extreme. I have a pull-up bar in the kitchen doorway that may see me more frequently this afternoon. After my intense Callanetics session last night/this morning the muscles could use the work.

DeLahaze is the smoothest smoke yet, surpassing the Auto Jack Herer that impressed me so much. The smell is strongly reminiscent of the Bag seed I recently harvested, but with deeper, more refined tones. There were times I questioned that I'd actually taken the hit, to release a lungful of smoke into the room on exhale.

The high is ethereal and soaring - my first of this quality and please let Carnival surpass this, because I'll have jars of her. :yahoo: There's been no limit to the high, I just keep soaring right back up a bit higher every time. I like this. :battingeyelashes:

I'd rate it up there at in the range of a solid 9. I'm right on the edge of a spiritual experience. Of course, I'd bet these pulsing beats of Henry Green's "Electric Feel Remix" firing my neurons is a strong contributing factor to that mind expansion going on. Yeah there we go, at 4:35 he ramps it up. Sweet!!

I'm going to explore Pandiculation. Google it. If you have a cat, watch it stretch when it gets up. That's Pandiculation. I'm going to spend the day figuring out how to pandiculate every muscle group in my body. It's a new concept I've been thinking about for a while. This buzz kicked it onto the front burner, so time to explore. Extra points to DeLahaze for kicking creative up a notch and motivating me to actually do something about it.

I registered a complaint at that Office of Universal Quality Control, Joy Division, that I could feel this good and still be living alone. I swear to God, a tiny voice in the background laughed "It's only temporary girl. Enjoy the buzz." :laughtwo:

Who am I to argue with the Joy Division? I'm off to explore more music and movement. DeLahaze and I are going to make a day of it. Do yourself and the Universe a favor and spread all the joy possible today. Gather your loved ones near and kiss all over them. They'll love it and so will you.

Of course I took lots of pictures. This is me, remember? :laughtwo: They'll pop up now and then. I'm off to do more movement. :ciao:

I see "Skittles" is coming along nicely.... Taste the Rainbow :yummy:

Skittles is jarred. This is from Carnival, lit with the LEDs. That can be so deceptive, can't it?
