The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

Please Sue, don't "brownie" everything as yet. You'll know what I mean in a few days.

I only used about half the Unknown Seed. That left all of the Paradise DeLahaze, which I'm really interested in trying, I'll have you know. That one is very tempting. I also have the rest of the Unknown. The brownies I make today will get me through another 4-6 days, depending on how medicated I want to be. I've been so busy today and having such a good time researching and posting that I haven't even taken time to smoke anything. :laughtwo:

It's always good to see you, my friend. I hope you and the wife are fine on this lovely day. Give her a hug for me.

Ha. :) My birthday is 8 days after yours. And nooo, you dont want to be without.

Did I know you were a fellow Sagittarian? I don't recall that. :woohoo: That explains so much. :laughtwo:

Jamaican Dream (Day 79)

Today was her first CAT drench. I think I'm in for a delightful harvest surprise from this girl. :battingeyelashes:

Am I good or what? :cheesygrinsmiley: 45 minutes in the oven at 225 F. I got the amount spot on. It's totally dry, completely decarbed and ready to process. I love this part, the playing in the pile of powdered buds. :laughtwo:

Congrats on the chops Sue. (almost typed chopsuey)

Nailed it! You're good, girl :)

Thanks, it surprised me to be so close. Hahaha! It was what I was shooting for, but to have actually pulled it off was just delightful. :cheesygrinsmiley:

The intuitive auto-correct Reg? Gets me all the time. With my proclivity to post, I'm thankful for that 420 minutes of edit time we get. I'm forever coming across confusion caused by flying fingers and a lack of proofreading.

On my way to the kitchen and I pass evidence that, once again, things are very good in SweetSue's world.

Yep, very good indeed. :blunt:

Now, I have a tent full of lusciousness to check on.

Killin it girl!

Feels great with harvests around every corner eh? I share your excitment! Happy for you Susan! You deserve it all

Good morning Pigeons. :hugs:

It does feel good. It's kind of bittersweet, in that I'm getting used to the flow of a perpetual and now I need to close it out. I have the experience to pull from though, and it's been a learning experience for sure. It'll make my startup much easier.

Haven't been into the tent yet. Getting ready to open it up right now.

This Jamaican Dream (one day after her first CAT drench) is becoming one impressive specimen. These two strains, recommended by Graytail, grown in the medium he prefers and trained in a style meant to mimic his, have become the most exciting things growing in this tent - aside from my Dark Devil Autos, of course.

I think I'll continue to stick close to him and keep watching like a hawk. Can't compete with his light. Yet. :laughtwo: I'll think of something. You can count on it. :battingeyelashes:

image140.png

More pictures later, I promise. While I was lost in the beauty of the textures and competing scents I glanced up and spotted this button of delight shooting up from the oldest Dark Devil Auto. Once I zoomed in, this is what I found.

image141.png

Are you seeing these monster cloudy trichomes? I just spotted those and went back for this closer look.

I love technology. Instinct drew me to the shot. The iPhone ruled the day.

She has about 10 days to go, if I can keep her going that long.

Looked at that shot again, went to the tent, pulled her out and removed the obvious piece of perlite from her leaf. :laughtwo: Let's blame that blonde moment on the brownies, shall we? :battingeyelashes:

Now that she's out and in natural light I guess I'll have to take some pictures of her cute self.

Perlite, is better than a trichome with canceous sized growth.

I thought about just editing it out, but I have that rule against doing that unless it's something hurtful or .......... Nope, hurtful's it. LOL! I'm fond of transparency. Not at all afraid to let you know what a ditz I can be. :laughtwo:

HAH!

I knew it!

I always had a gut feeling - you were "my" kind of people. That very unpretentious statement just proved it. :)

Too often I'm "forced" (work) to deal with all kinds of "precious" pompous people who just...... Draws in a slow deep vape breath,

...Calm.

:Love::circle-of-love: you all !

Awww.... You made me feel so special there. *blush*

When I started here I made a conscious decision to avoid being scrubbed clean to make it all somehow easier for others to accept. Life doesn't work like that, and quite frankly I think it helps to acknowledge that and show how to work past those little challenges life drops in front of us from time to time. I'm "what you see is what you get" and I've never been afraid to be who I am or to suffer the social consequences for being different than the pack. I figured you guys deserved to get to know "me" instead of some other "ME". Know what I mean?

I enjoy being "me". It's reassuring to find myself in a community that so readily embraced this particular "me". :circle-of-love:

Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia (Day 53)

Look at her go! :slide:

This is a sight to perk up a cannabis cultivator. :woohoo: No matter what, from this point on she's useful as meds. Way to go Baby!!

image4219.jpeg

I'm breathing a little easier. I'm going to push her through the CAT drenches earlier than I'd ever dreamed. Under better circumstances there'd be another month tacked on to her lifespan. At the very least it's going to be an interesting documentation of what happens when you break the rules, eh? Don't I make a habit of that? :battingeyelashes:

These look so pretty! I love it when I get them to the point that no matter what they're medicine. It's a relief.

:yummy:

Jamacian Dream (Day 80)

We're at that exciting point where I can't get enough photos of her. :laughtwo: I reigned it back as far as I could.
