The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

There's no way around it, when you listen to ZZ Top you end up prancing through the house like those girls they have in their videos! :laughtwo:

Daily Update: Perpetual Tent - Wwek 19, Day 2

Maintenance notes:
- The oldest Dark Devil Auto, the Middle Dark Devil Auto, and Nebula all got CAT drenches (the Middle one got her second).
- DeLahaze got a TransWater drench.
- The Unknown Seed and Jamaican Dream each got a Trans/Tea drench.

This leaves three plants to get started through the CAT drenches; Jamaican Dream has another Energy drench before her run, as does Original Bubblegum. The Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia is running about a week behind and I may finish her out in the tiny closet to get the tent down but give her a bit more time. She's only at Day 42 now, so unless she pulls a miracle here ........

Let's check out the girls.

Jamaican Dream (Day 69) Crisping the hell out of the tips of those lovely leaves she has. Sorry about that baby, but mama needs the lights super close.

I love the smooth line to her canopy. My daughter came over while I had her out of the tent and she was shocked by Carnival's appearance. In her words, "That's one pregnant plant!"

image3575.jpeg

She certainly is a pretty one.

And that's all she wrote. :laughtwo: I need to transcribe a meditation and then I'll be seeing you around the threads. Thanks for hanging around to keep me company while I run around like this all day long. :battingeyelashes: I keep thinking it'll slow down, but that apparently isn't in my cards yet. Hahaha!

As always that's some damn good looking brownies Sue!

You need to try a batch ShiggityFlip. Couldn't be easier to make and beyond delicious. Then there's the 5-8 hour hang time of the buzz. LOL!

A nice way to send me off to bed. Nite nite :hugs:  :hugs:

Sleep well my friend. You have to feel surrounded by love right now. :hugs:  :hugs:

nice guitar you got there love :cheesygrinsmiley:

i too like to medicate and jam to my favorite tunes, what a blessing music is

I know! :cheesygrinsmiley: we've been talking about it a little over at the Landrace Genetics 101 thread.. Landrace Genetics 101

I hadn't been there in a while, and had pages to get through, but the entire time i'm on that thread I feel like I'm standing in the shadow of greatness and I just want to find a corner of the floor and sit to listen for days. One of the most amazing threads on the site, IMHO.

Thanks for getting me back there to catch up.

Music is too important to leave to professionals. :battingeyelashes:

Theyre allll looking so yummy!

Do you ever sleep? :laughtwo::MoreNutes:

Apparently not. :laughtwo: I just finished Callanetics. I think I fell asleep on the floor for about an hour between the warm-ups and the pulsing. LOL! Never had that happen before, but it didn't keep me from getting the session in. Now, I'm wide awake.

I'm gonna go stretch out and hope for the best.

Good morning everyone.

I'm enjoying breakfast out this morning, indoors, but next to a window that offers the expansive view of the river, unobstructed by leaves that have long since fallen. The stark linear nature of winter trees makes my blood pump faster. I'll need to get some charcoals and a sketchbook out and come back down later. I'll be meeting my daughter in this area later today, so maybe just come back down an hour earlier and sketch.

Wow! I haven't considered sketching like that in over 20 years! Whoa! What a morning! It just occured to me that this unbelievable high I'm registering this morning likely has everything to do with the White Widow being 98% of the meds in this brownie batch. Good grief, I can't remember ever being this blissfully high out in public. :laughtwo: And I'm alone. Well, I have you all with me, so not so alone at all, am I? :battingeyelashes:

I took some quick shots to format and post now. There's nothing that needs done in the tent today and posting now frees up the day. It's time to begin divesting myself of unnecessary belongings, like the flat screen I haven't turned on since February. Yeah, things that mean nothing to me anymore but which continue to clutter up my life, keeping me from fully enjoying my favorite pastime.

Carnival (Day 125) Speechless........

image3605.jpeg

Most of the really exciting action goes on below the canopy, as blossoms creep up the stems and frost up. I reached out and pulled one down to take a quick look.

image3606.jpeg

Oh yeah...... :slide:

The Tiny Pots. Leaving them alone. I fight the urge to get the loupe and start inspecting, but I want to listen to them and see if I can get the timing right with them. Isn't that delightfully stoner thought? Only an aging hippy hobby cultivator would even think about doing a thing like that. Hahaha!

Blame it on the brownies. Make a note, Susan - "White Widow = Bangin' Brownies". All the senses are heightened. I just turned to the river and got lost in the light play of the surface, broken into billions of sparkly points by the blustery wind. Geez, I need to go to the labyrinth when I'm done here. Stellar Idea!

Sorry guys, back to the post. :laughtwo:

The tiny Dark Devil Auto ( Day 55) Starting to take off. Let's see how quickly she can take off. I have a few surprises for her over the next couple weeks. Isn't she just the cutest thing? :circle-of-love:

Jamaican Dream (Day 70)

Somewhere back there......... Yep, she's still there.

Some bonus shots of Carnival magic.

Have I ever shared with you that I consider purple to be the color of Love? I just looked back at these pictures and that was what I saw - a whole page of loving. No wonder they're such happy plants. LOL! If I surrounded you with this much love you'd glow too.

Whoa, these are powerful brownies. :laughtwo:

Let me take a walk along the river and enjoy a spiritual journey at the labyrinth. This is too good an opportunity to pass up. I feel almost led to it. Hmmm.......

Ill catch up with you later. :ciao: :green_heart:

Thanks for the glimpse of your garden, Sue and for your thoughts on life, filtered through WW Brownies :) I find it so centering and thoughtful to read your posts each day, enjoy your grow from a distance and think about how interconnected we all are.

And we are all with you, always!

:circle-of-love:

Isn't it the strangest experience? We've never met, and likely never will - a thought that is just sad - but, *deep breath to steady * , we grow to know the person, the real person on these pages where, for some crazy reason, we feel safe enough to be real. I've known you just long enough now to see you understand exactly what I mean, and I'd bet my life you share the same fascination.

This community never leaves my side, nor should it. You are all woven into the daily fabric of my days.

This White Widow, Soul Seeds was the breeder noted on the bag, is one I'll need to reacquire. Grow her bigger.

Time to go. The labyrinth calls.

sue's place rocks! this is my usual last stop catching up on subs. it's always so peaceful with such a good vibe. like there should be a .wav file that opens when you click the link with birds singing and a babbling brook lol.

Glimmers place will be the same way ... ONCE SHE GETS THAT WORK DONE! heh.

Now I'm going to be more impatient for my White Widow. Enjoying Sue's day. Somewhat surprised that she hasn't mentioned ear buds.:peacetwo:

I've had them in all day Jim. :laughtwo: I've been exploring some of my daughter's music. Lots of new musical adventures. Still so stoned and that was 5 hours ago. I may be able to cut the dose waaaaay back with this strain. But then, why would I want to deny myself feeling like this?

In wandering through the daughter's playlist I found an amazingly appropriate and fun music video that I shared on my Spot. Here's the link to the post. :battingeyelashes:

Thank you mon ami. I'm touched. :battingeyelashes:

The process makes me a bit nervous. :laughtwo:

Don't be nervous. I think of it as an honor just to be included. I was nominated for a Cardinal Crystal Achievement award (The Oscars of Dog grooming for around the world.) No I didn't win, but to be on the stage with 4 superstars from the grooming industry was enough for me. The fact that my peers thought enough of to nominate me was a thrill!!

All of the nominations are well deserved!!! :Namaste: :peace:

Sue, Jim -- what stems do you keep for tea? Mostly stems from the bud rather than stems from, say, fan leaves?

Sorry to take so long to answer this. I just got home from shopping with my daughter. I've been gone all day and walked through the door just as lights clicked off. Drat!! It was a good thing I took those pictures earlier. :battingeyelashes:

When I make brownies all the tiny stem pieces in the blossoms get broken up by my thumbnail and tossed into the brownies. Anything that won't break up easily goes into a bag off to the side. After chopping and decarbing it goes into the jar.
