And so we come to the end of another day on the run. :laughtwo: I do hope your own day left you shaking your head in wonder. What better gift could the Universe offer you?

I'm exhausted. No sleep last night at all and I'm probably going to be asleep ten minutes from now.

:Namaste:

Looking beautiful Sue, the Afghani is coming on leaps n bounds, can't wait to flip mine in a couple of weeks. Hope it looks & produces as well as yours. I follow BAR's thread & saw u had gifted him the HB kit. I'll probably go down the root close to peejays soil in the future, he makes it look so easy & that is what I'm after..Glad you decided to take a holiday Sue, well deserved. :circle-of-love:

Thank you Ziggy. Thank you for the inspiration for this approach, although, to be fair, I think the initial inspiration may have come from B A R. Your addition of the azalea pots and SWICKS is what supercharged my imagination and got me here. When I get back I look forward to giving the whole process another go
Well gee-whiz Sue, I'm honored & congrats on the recent harvests.

I sent all the extra stuff off to B A R, who's going to run a side-by-side comparison grow with the Kit and PeeJay's soil mixes. B A R will be able to give the Kit the look over it deserves. He's in for a surprise. Both of those soils are major producers, so this should be interesting.
There won't be any surprises with PJ's Organic Soil Mix. My best run to date was grown in it; I've already witnessed what his can do. If Doc's Kit gets me anywhere near the same ballpark there's going to be some furniture moving up in this apt.

Well Reg, I'd get those furniture-realignment plans shored up. You're in for a surprise, my friend, and I'm looking forward to seeing the side-by-side that should have been demonstrated here, but that pesky death thing got in my way. I'm so thrilled that we were able to get this to you. I'm so excited to watch you do this comparison it's silly. :laughtwo:

You've been watching. Tell me that Carnival doesn't make you pause every once in a while? Wait until that happens right in front of you, in your own tent. The HB growers understand. They've become used to it. I'm not entirely convinced that I won't be ordering more kit supplies. I find I like using both soils and I'm becoming more instinctive with the kit as I go. Who knows what the New Year holds?

Sue I bet if all your HB plants were on the same schedule it would be a lot easier. Less planning and less work. I know that's not always possible in your circus, maybe I would use HB For small batches of four plants at a time. Or one bigger plant. I know my plan is to have six go in at once but I think it will be ok since they will be on the same schedule. I know some may need cat at different times but I may try to batch the same type of strains to make it easier.

And yes I am keeping a solid eye on that carnival!

I couldn't agree with you more ShiggityFlip. I learned a lot with this initial cycle, which was my intent from the get-go, and I'll be applying that to a more controlled grow when I set up again. I'm planning a set of stealthy spaces where I can plant the tiny pots and just let them run in place beginning to end, kind of what I did with the shelves, but more controlled.

Having Dale die in the middle of things really made a mess of my plans. When I started growing last year my belief was that I'd have at least three to five more years with him. It's been tough to adjust, and the grow suffered at every step along the way. My friend intends that I should be much further down my healing path before she releases me from her loving arms. When I get back it'll be such fun to get going again with a new cabinet and new spaces to grow in.

If you're growing in Kit soil you really want to go with the wilder sativas. The soil brings those strains out to magnificent expression. This kit in combination with good genetics will blow you right out of your socks. I'm looking forward to your own "Good grief, are you seeing this?" moments. :laughtwo:

Too many words, not enough pictures. :laughtwo:

Carnival was anxious to break the ice. (Day 109)

Makes me catch my breath every time. Geez, what a beauty. Is she really mine? :laughtwo:

Canna, I see you lurking. I hope the eye has settled into something less monstrous today, my friend. :hugs: :circle-of-love:

A contrast in soils. The Dark Devil is a full eleven days behind Kalashnikova.

Daily Uodate: Perpetual Tent - Week 17, Day 1

There won't be any activity in here today. I'm devoting my day to cleaning the balcony, which has gone to hellish neglect since Dale died, and reading up on cannabis oil. I'm gonna put a big pot of chili on and make the place smell heavenly every time I step back in from outside. Follow that up with honey-sweetened, buttery cornbread to accompany all that goodness in the Dutch Oven. Yeah, a good plan Susan. :cheesygrinsmiley:

So let's see who else is left to look over, shall we? Come with me.

image2321.jpeg

Jamaican Dream (Day 54) Graytail assures me this one can be brought in with a happy harvest potentially as early as week 8 from flip. In my tent and under my current timelines she's only going to get 7, so here's hoping that the reduced light schedule gets her there in time. Isn't she exciting to look at though? :laughtwo:

image2331.jpeg

Dark Devil Auto (Day 39) This one's going to be another challenge, but I have great faith in her ability to get to the finish line with the rest of the gang.

image2332.jpeg

image2333.jpeg

Afghani #2 (Day 110) Just stacking them on!

image2334.jpeg

Check out the difference between the strains, and most obviously, the soil approach. The Afghani is one day ahead of the Carnival. This is the Afghani.....

image2335.jpeg

..... and Carnival. Carnival has a distinct advantage at this point on trichome production, but in the last two days there's been a marked increase on the Afghani. I'm interested in seeing how they compare in the end.

image2336.jpeg

White Widow (Day 72) You can see how she's running to the finish now. I'm thinking another two weeks, but I need to get in there tomorrow with the loupe. Don't want her slipping past cloudy, and I'm beginning to suspect she's getting very close to that line right now. It can wait until tomorrow.

image2337.jpeg

My Tiny Pots.

image2338.jpeg

Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia (Day 27) Here's my biggest challenge under the available timelines. But look at her taking off! She'll be in full bloom within days. I need to check for sex tomorrow. These are feminized seeds, so that shouldn't be a concern, but still....

image2339.jpeg

image2340.jpeg

Ahhh.... All done. Everyone's happy, and that makes me happy. :battingeyelashes: I'm out of brownies right now, waiting on the latest harvest to dry enough to use. It's now 1PM but really 2PM  and I haven't yet indulged in a wake-and-bake, (why I eat the meds instead of smoke them) so let me remedy that rediculous oversight and then get busy outdoors. I've got at least an hour of heavy cleaning out there, I'm sad to say. That's ok. I'm healing at a decent rate, and all these things will fall into place in time.

Have yourself an absolutely wonderful day. The control over that lies entirely with you, regardless of what life decides to toss in your path. So make that choice to include the expression of love and joy at every opening. I believe we're making a strong impact with this daily directive to joyful expression. It warms my heart to imagine all of you out there taking those little opportunities. Make me proud guys. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Morning Sue.
They look great! Won't be long.

Good morning. I hope so Cajun. Really, it makes me a bit nervous to be pushing them like this. I'm impressed with the effect of reducing the lighting.

Open Question to the Galley: What if I reduced the lighting a bit more, or do you believe this might be a good stopping point?

Canna, I see you lurking. I hope the eye has settled into something less monstrous today, my friend. :hugs: :circle-of-love:

Yeah, I'm a lurker all over the place today... between harvests. LOL
Thanks, the eye is better, I can see now with both of them enough to snip leaves. :laughtwo:

Great update!

I'm so glad to hear this Canna. You were the second person I thought of when my eyes popped open this morning.

This tiny little piece of the Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia is my choice of meds this morning. Looks so small as to be insignificant, doesn't it? It's deceptive that way. :laughtwo: It's a shame this one was a one-shot thing, because these seeds, grown in Doc's Kit soil has turned out to be my favorite next to my Dark Devil Autos. This tiny piece is about to get me to a whole other level of consciousness in less than six fragmentary hits. I'ts hard not to be pleased with those kinds of results when you grow your own, isn't it?

Aren't we some of the luckiest people you know? :laughtwo: :green_heart:

Stunning plants. I see brownies when I look at them. :laughtwo:

Ha Ha! I Luv it .....brownies .mmmmmmm. By the way I learned that no till mean there are worms in your dirt.... the thought hit me that i can grow night crawlers AND weed together. Its like im growin a nice little fishin kit, lol.
