The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

I secretly hope your thunderpaws are male and female respectively. That way I could maybe entice you to attempt your first IBL breeding ;) The thing with breeding its a timing thing. If you miss the window you're done and dusted. Just like most other females in the broad world of flora and fauna... when in the peak of heat ;) hehe

I'll tell you what Growlow, you keep an eye out and if they turn out to be both sexes you can walk me through the process. Deal?

Why thank you STIHL LOGGER, and may I welcome you to my happy corner of the larger :420: community. I see you're new in our neck of the woods. You've joined quite a friendly community here and if there's anything we can help you with as you settle in, please don't hesitate to ask. I have to smile every time someone new joins us. It means we're one more person closer to 420's goals for the site. His plan is working. :battingeyelashes:

I took off out of here for my walk somewhere around two. That walk takes me - or should I say, used to take me - about an hour, maybe 90 minutes if I stop for groceries, which I did today for the recovering daughter. I left out of here thinking

"I have plenty of time to get back before lights off at 4. I can leave the tent flap open until I get back."

Already know where this is going, don't you? Yep, left the flap open and the door to the balcony, which is situated directly across the room from the tent opening, wide open as well. Got back around 5:30, totally oblivious to what I'd done, because in my mind I wouldn't have ever been that reckless and I knew I remembered to close it up, so why rush home or call to have the daughter zip it up? So I didn't even walk into the bedroom until right now, to find my tent wide open 2 hours after lights out.

Oh well. Won't make that mistake again.

Did you hear him? I distinctly heard Atrain there.

"Sue, I know you can do better than that."

So I did.

image984.jpeg

Then I did the other side too.

I believe that's more of what he had in mind for her. Here she is five minutes ago.

:hugs::Love:

Thank you Mr Am4zin. :battingeyelashes: They are looking quite darling these days. It looks, for all intents and purposes, like I might have a knack for this. :laughtwo:

I was backtracking through the soil discussion thread and came across a video link on mycorrhizal fungi that I'd missed. Here's the link to the post if anyone cares to watch it. My thanks to SBG for originally posting it on the soil thread.

Building a Better Soil - Demonstrations & Discussions of Organic Soil Recipes

My two favorite quotes from the video were:

"Mycorrhizal fungi increase the absorption power of the plant's roots by several hundred to several thousand times."

"Several miles of these ultra-fine filaments can be found in a single thimble full of soil. "

A short 12 minute introduction to the beneficial fungi, and highly recommended. I always assume everyone knows about the mycorrhizae, and then I remember it wasn't that long ago that I was unaware. If you aren't using mycorrhizal in your pots, correct that mistake ASAP.

'Nuff said.

Thanksgiving in my neck of the woods and I just wanted you to know that I'm thankful for our friendship, Susan! You mean a lot to me, we've been through a lot in our year of friendship and tonight my drinks out for us!

Love ya girl!

It's a done deal! It would be my pleasure. I'm in the next week or two going to be doing a video demonstration of how I store my pollen and how I pollinate my ladies with (to date) a very high rate of success. I just couldn't help myself, in my newest post but make up for the tardiness of my entry by showing off my next strain to come out of the woodworks the breeding that made this strain could have a story written about it. International intrigue at its finest ;)

Happy Thanksgiving Pigeons. You've certainly brought a big heap of joy to my life in the past year, watching your grow and your confidence improve. You found a home here the same way I have. I believe you may understand my attachment better than most, because I believe you share it with me.

My best to the lovely wife as well. May your next year be as joyful. Like it could be any other way, eh? :laughtwo:

That means the rest of my Canadian friends are also celebrating Thanksgiving. My wishes extend to all of you as well. :hugs:
