The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

image33613.jpg

Whispers of future joys.

Auto Jock Horror x Auto Amnesia on the left (to be planted in kit soil, of course), Medical No Name on the right (going into LOS).

I've decided to plant two a month from this point on. That should keep me in supply. If I need to, that timeline can be tightened up, but with the inventory I should have by the time I harvest the Jamaican Dream it should be just right for me.

Mmmmmm.... SweetSue's Luscious Ladies coming into the harvest stretch. Yeah Baby. :slide: :laughtwo:

Transitions

It's coming up on flip time for Carnival. I'm just waiting for her to get thirsty and then she into the tent. Just in time too, because the Jamaican Dream is pushing hard for that spot and I'm only going to be able to hold her off so long.

Here she is at Day 21, bursting at the seams with explosive growth.

image33618.jpg

Carnival looks like she's going to demonstrate her drought-resistant super powers again.

image33619.jpg

From across the room you can see how level her canopy is. :cheesygrinsmiley:

image33620.jpg

She's just itching to get in the tent and S-T-R-E-T-C-H out.

Almost Showtime buckaroos!! Get ready to que up the dance music. :laughtwo:

Heck Sue, you have other things to smoke.

Cut a sample.

Trim it down a bit.

Let it hang out in a spot with good air circulation and a low humidity for four days.

Put your feet up and have a taste. Make it a comforting event, not driving 90 on the thru-way.

That's clean weed. It is going to taste great if you give it a few days.

Savor small things.

Thank you for the encouragement PeeJay. You posted at a critical moment. Well done Sprout! :hugs: I took your advice. Then I had to lick my fingers. :laughtwo:

image33629.jpg

I appreciate not only that you care enough to try to pull those reigns, but also that you manage to do so with such artistry and humor. You're such a fun companion to have along. Thanks for putting up with me. I'd sure hate to lose your company. :battingeyelashes:

Time for one more before I head out into the rain to pick up the daughter's dinner. Being a super mom for a super daughter. There are some very sweet rewards to being a parent that I must admit, help to balance out those moments when.... Yeah you know what I mean.

The Young Ones

All except the littlest one plugging along in Doc Bud's High BrixBlend soil, my babies are looking blissfully happy.

You've already seen that luscious Jamaican Dream. Wow! Eh? Yeah, that's what I thought when I saw her today. :laughtwo:

The littlest of them all, Dark Devil Auto (Day 6)

Gotta run. One more post to sum up the day and I'll get out and about. I do hope you're spreading that joy. If you need the prompt I can offer a loving virtual hug.

:hugs: Lavender. Faint, but discernible. A bit of mystery and comfort all rolled up into one. :kisstwo: Softly on a cheek. Your choice of side.

Now, Joy. Lots of it. I won't be asking for documentation, so you're on the honor system. I know I can trust you. :laughtwo:

I'm a pill, Sue. A good drama needs a villain.

Honestly, you have SO much going on that any comments I make are probably made out of confusion. This soil, that soil, this lighting schedule, that lighting schedule, big pot, small pot, this drench, that drench. I'm dizzy!

I expect that once the dust settles you are going to slide into a routine like Mr. Tail, no matter what method you choose, and KILL IT!

For now what you're doing keeps you out of the bars.

A very astute observation my friend. We don't need that scene played out. :laughtwo:

I figure I needed the major distraction to balance out my need to accelerate the healing process. Kinda like pouring salt into an open wound. Never been one to go slowly or quietly I guess.

Yes, Graytail's current peaceful flow is appealing, I must admit. It wasn't so long ago his world was a bit more frustrating. Life and its cycles.

You make a fine villain. That sharp wit needs honing somewhere. I'll be the happy sparring partner any day. :circle-of-love:

Sorry guys. I worry about you all worrying about me when I do that. It was a missed appointment with my lovely dentist that sent me careening through that emotional battleground. They graciously rescheduled me for this afternoon. I've just about stopped shaking and coffee is brewing. The tears will just have to fall silently. I don't have the emotional wherewithal to conquer them, but they're soft and easy ones, more resignation than panic. You learn to live with it. Well, I did.

Let me jump back and catch up now. But first. Really big hug. :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

OK, I'm good now.

:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

You don't realize how stoned you really are until you leave the house. Good grief, these brownies kick butt! Raining too, so a sensory wonder. I walked without the umbrella for a time to remind myself I was the one who lived and that's a good thing.

Bought more brownie mix.

Looking very delicious! Yum:drool:

Ursula, I missed you on the earlier pass. Forgive that oversight and allow me to welcome you, not only to my happy little corner of the neighborhood but to the :420: community, which has much more to offer than the grow journals we're all so lost in. :laughtwo:

If we can in any way help you become more comfortable as you settle in, you have only to ask. Make yourself at home. Feel free to jump back into the conversation at abandon.

:Namaste:

Managed a few decent hours there. Started to bed around 1 and got continuously distracted until 5:30. Slept all of three hours until the eyes popped open, ready to go again. I always try to close my eyes and drift back under. That hasn't been an effective method of getting more sleep since Friday the 13th of February. Wow! How crazy that the transitional death spiral date would be Friday the 13th, eh? I bet, wherever Dale is, that one makes him laugh.

I read through the last two pages from the previous day to make sure no one got lost behind in the flurry of posts, came to this one and shot right out of bed. I'd forgotten!!!

image33635.jpg

I'm up, I've already danced through the apartment to " Just a the Two Of Us", belting it out at full throttle. What a glorious way to wake up the vocal chords!! Into the shower and on with the day. New seeds to plant. :woohoo:

image33634.jpg

Had to drop another AJH x AA seed. The first one refused to sink. Give this one an hour. I only have three seeds left.:yikes:

Well, it's been fun and I'm enjoying smoking something most people in the world won't even have the opportunity to try. What a kick. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Good morning buckaroos! Let's get busy!!!

Brownie mix: the ones with caramel ROCK!!! World of difference in taste. Like night and day.

Haha this made me laugh so hard! Mainly because I get so stoned at home ALL THE TIME and leave the house to do something as simple as rake the leaves and it's like "Wow can everyone else tell how medicated I am right now?"

And then " I bought more brownie mix" that's the icing on the cake right there!

Morning love! MUAH!

The Tale Of a two Soils

I never tire of opening a bin of reserve soil and finding a scene like this one in the kit reserves.

image33638.jpg

Although the LOS reserves don't have that flashy mycelium on the surface, (these life forms are found below the surface - we see them here because the tote is closed and dark and they interpret that to mean "below the surface") it chewed the hell out of the leaves I tossed in here, too. These were dropped in at the same time the ones you saw in the upper photo were. All that's left here are decomposing stems. Now THAT'S a living soil, eh? :laughtwo:

image33639.jpg

That's the soil my new Medical No Name seed is now planted into. :slide:

image33640.jpg

The dream continues. :battingeyelashes:
