The Joy Of Growing - SweetSue Goes Perpetual

Good for you Sue gotta take care of the mind, body and spirit! Keep your head high!!

Yeah, it's been a bigger challenge than I like to admit to become self managing again. :laughtwo: I didn't fully appreciate how much structure he brought to my life. Now I'm trying to let myself live an unstructured life for a while and my productive brain keeps calling me on it. I'm determined though, if only for a while, to allow a lack of structure to be my guide.

Your garden is looking luscious. Wish I could have my coffee next to that bevy of beauties. :battingeyelashes:

you still can have structure in your life
unless you don't want any atm

I'm thinkin' it might be nice if the only structure I hold myself to is tending the garden. It's been a lot of years being responsible for so many people. My son walked away with the grandchildren, Dale died and the daughter moved the love of her life in. My life may never have this much personal freedom again. Until something catches my eye and fires up a passion that can override my current obsession with cultivating top-quality cannabis and figuring out how to help the country gain a better perspective of the plant, I'm gonna' just free fall for a while.

I'll have to get over to that stoned music thread soon.

For now I wanted to post some Energy usage info. It came up maybe a week or so ago and I finally got around to looking it up. Behold: lol

Keep in mind we were blooming March April May, and we have CFL veg lights on 24/0 all year. We have 7 watts CFLs in every socket of the house including three we don't have control over - security for the Townhome community. The 10 veg lights are 23 watts each and veg fan is about 30 watts. Then I have 1000w HPS and 400w MH, two fans 60-80 watt ea. and CO2, when blooming 12/12.

Xcel charges double rates over 500 kwhr during summer May-Sept Hence my next bloom will begin Oct.1st. Since we are Vegan we use Crockpots and VitaMix blenders to cook in, once a week I cook a sauteed veggie and Brownrice or Quinoa thing that takes 45 mins or we'll have pasta with a fresh raw blended marinara that is beyond yummy, we also make chick pea humus cooking in the crockpot then blend the fresh ingredients together. Hardly ever turn the oven on and we don't use the AC or a fan, keep the house open at night and closed first light. In some cases I use a wash cloth to keep myself cool, I'll spare you those details :)...it works better anyway. lol

Besides blooming, this computer and the TV are probably our biggest power suckers or we'd have the bill around 150-200 kwhr

i listen to all kinds of music depending on the mood i am in. right now am listening to aerosmith Get A Grip cd

Sue, try letting your autos in HB soil go longer than they're supposed to be.. by like a week. i ran a sugargum auto..it looked ready a week ago.its much larger..finishing it on GE..

I'm running several other autos in SWICK #3...

going to pop some beans on sunday...

Thanks for the encouragement Ziggy. I was reviewing my notes and rereading Graytail's details on waves of pistils and Duggans advice to wait until all pistils have faded and pulled back and then wait another week or more. Hearing from you made it a triple HB Whammy! I'll wait. Then wait some more. :battingeyelashes:

But the thread asks specifically what do you choose when you're really high. That's a different question. :battingeyelashes:

So you're saying you're a man of nuance. Sweet. :battingeyelashes: Next time you're making one of those choices stop by the thread and share Bear.

Hey Sue,, that cheese auto looks great. Wait her out.. I thought I would be disappointed with mine, pre harvest, based on visual only. But, I'm having some tonight, about five weeks since harvest and it's very good. Like, blink my eyes good. ;) I had a little the other day and it did the same thing,, very good.

What she's building are all solid and firm and growing thicker by the day. You have me excited about letting her cure long enough.

I need to make a few more. I was just looking at them not two minutes ago and thinking "make more Susan". :laughtwo: I'll be transplanting into them in a couple weeks.
